    • I went there whith alot of high hopes and was extremely disappointed.
    • Staff is outstanding. Very flexible and helped with all tours, etc.

    Cons -

    • The long stairs, but the view makes it worth it
    • Terrible experience, the hotel is very far from everything. Old rooms, we got a garden view and it was like a jail cell. Got an upgrade after trying to get more money from me and was the same thing with a view. The hotel has no beach, horrible staff.
    • There's a 140-step climb up to the hotel, so keep that in mind before booking. The best way to get there is by boat from Tonsai Pier, so it's not ideal for people with mobility issues. Another odd thing: there was no bathroom door, which was just... strange.

The staff was very attentive. We were met by staff at the pier after arriving by ferry, then taken to the long tail boat which took us to the resort. They handled our luggage until it was in our room. We were welcomed at the resort with a cool towel and juice. Fantastic service! The included breakfast was excellent. Amazing coffee too.

The views from the room were amazing! The location is quiet, and the nearby beach is very nice. The breakfast was okay for our one-night stay. The resort grounds are nicely decorated with well-maintained greenery, and our room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. They also offer a free boat transfer from Tonsai Pier and back for check-in and check-out, which was very convenient!

Amazing view! Better than the photos. Make sure to book the cabins with view, totally worth it. Cabins are a little bit rustic, but they are OK.

Not for people with reduced mobility, to get to the hotel you need to climb more than 100 steps staircase. There is no elevator or similar.

    amazing views..privacy of bungalow.

150 plus steps up to complex..had to get boat to get to town and went dark just after tea...no storage in rooms for clothes

The staff are so kind and welcoming—they made us feel like special guests from check-in to check-out. The manager and staff were very attentive. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. They even picked us up from the pier and helped carry our things all the way to our room. The view was stunning, and even though it rained, our stay was relaxing and memorable. The dinner was superb—delicious food with a perfect sea view.

Nothing significant, everything was great. The only challenge is the uphill walk, but it’s worth it for the beautiful view.

The location is so good. Away from the bustling crowds of the main Phi Phi strip. I only went into the main area once as the location was so good for calm and quiet. Will definitely be back. It was a very peaceful stay, staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything! It's advertised as 3 star but actually is 5 star! There are steps going up but there are tons of platforms and you will be so busy taking in the breath taking view you won't mind the 4 min walk up.

    Nothing totally exceptional and magical!

The atmosphere of the hotel was good. In addition, the staffs were very cordial and helpful.

The location was far away from the town and the route to the town from the hotel was risky at night. Again there was no cheaper food shop in around the hotel. Therefore you have to buy foods(lunch and dinner) before leaving the town/pier if you don’t want to take food at this hotel.

    View is good

    1. Stuff are very no professional.2. They don’t telephone line even they don’t have intercom. 3. They don’t have room service. 4. Breakfast item very less.

Love the room, setting, food, and staff. Also, really appreciated the strong Wifi for work video meetings.

While I enjoyed the peace of being away from the hustle and bustle and tourism of town, it was a bit of a trek to and from town. However, one can pay 100 - 150 THB for a boat ride between town and Long Beach. So very manageable.

The location was wonderful. The view from the accomodation and the grounds really was stunning. You were also 1 minute walk to Long beach but felt far away enough so you could enjoy the peace and quiet which is hard to find in Phi Phi. Long beach is a lovely beach too and the water so is a great location if you want to get away from it all.Felt some of the other acommodation along the beach was very poor and low quality but no-one knows about HIP so is a quieter option.Bungalow was good considering the budget price, comfy bed, lovely staff and good basic breakfast and coffee. Very well run and organised accommodation and the free transfer from Tonsai to and from the property is great to have.

I didnt mind it at all but flagging for other reading this review, the stairs - its high up so there are a lot of stairs to walk up. If you have any mobility or issues with fitness and movements then dont choose this resort. An update for the shower head and bathroom would be good but was fine to use.

Great location with complimentary boat from main pier. Check-in/out was quick and easy. We ordered a private boat tour from the hotel. Sea view bungalow was nice.Totally worth it; great value for money!

Not much but i have mentioned couple of things below in ‘What didn’t you like’

**Disappointing Stay – Wouldn’t Recommend**My experience at this property was underwhelming, to say the least. The resort's inhospitable nature was evident from the start, with unnecessary rule stickers plastered everywhere, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. Its location is inconvenient, requiring numerous steep steps to reach, making it poorly accessible, especially since boats don’t always drop you directly at the resort. The trips booked through them were a disaster, and the lady staff responsible for trip bookings was outright rude—she should avoid customer interaction altogether. The rooms were extremely basic and overpriced, with too many mosquitoes and bizarre restrictions like not lowering the AC below 22°C. Breakfast was subpar, and they even enforce an odd 30 minutes early checkout policy to inspect rooms—a strange and unnecessary practice. On a positive note, the luggage-carrying staff were kind and helpful, but unfortunately, their efforts couldn’t redeem the overall experience. If you’re looking for comfort or value for money, I’d suggest staying elsewhere.

isolated, on top of a hill, old, and tired. Unless you like walking up and down 130 steep concrete steps to get to the beach then avoid this place. Stay at one of the places on the beach next door.

    7AnnabelPosted on: 2-19-2025

We loved the view. The food was good.

The rooms have come of age. They were ok, but nothing special. You have to go up a lot of stairs to get to the hotel

    8Roxana B.Posted on: 1-20-2025

The location was great, with a beautiful view towards the sea. It is a bit hard to access because of the stairs (careful not to forget something when going to the beach!), but climbing them two times a day was not a problem. Also, keep in mind that sometimes you don't board the boat from the pier, and you have to pass through some shallow water. Flip flops or water sandals are advisable instead of sneakers. The villas were clean, and we had no issues with insects or crawlers. Only mosquitoes, but we solved that with an electric liquid device. It was an ok-ish accommodation for Long Beach, although we were expecting more for its price.Breakfast was limited, we had to choose from 3 options from a list and we also got bread, butter, jam and fruit. Not that bad, but only for a few days, otherwise it gets repetitive.

We expected a boutique style resort, but we got more of a dorm-room vibe. The villa seemed renovated, but quite carelessly (towel rack was rusty, the shower cord was dangling with the plastic part exposed and separated from the metal). The staff could be more attentive to details. The towels could use renewing. There were fines posted everywhere - on the room key, fine for losing the key; near the toilet, fine for throwing paper in; on the wall at the entrance, fine for damaging each and every item in the room, including for blood stains on the sheets (?). All hotels have these provisions, but they are not posted on the walls. They are nicely put in a file with the house rules. The TV never worked and the front desk was not surprised when I told them, upon leaving. The AC was right above the bed, and it was difficult to adjust it so that it wouldn't blast on our heads, no matter on what temperature it was set.
