    Pros +

    • The hotel is very nice, and the staff is painfully polite.
    • I loved the staff, and that the hotel was not crowded and out of the Phi Phi madness.
    • It was a beautiful hotel in an unspoilt and stunning part of koh phi phi. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely with stunning views. The breakfast was amazing

    Cons -

    • located on the north end of the island and the main town is inaccessable by foot or vehicle. The only way to town is by long boat, which can be expensive and a pain if there are high seas. The hotel has no dock, you will be getting your feet wet.
    • The beach in front of the hotel, however, is rocky with some rubble. Furtheralong the beach, it is soft sand and more beach-friendly hotels.
    • Over pricing to book the excursions.

I recently stayed at Phi Phi Phu Chalet and had a mixed experience. One major detail that wasn’t made clear when booking is that the resort is located about 30 minutes by longtail boat from the main pier. This isolation affects everything—from access to food and transport, to costs and flexibility. The room itself was beautiful, with a great view. During my stay, there were only about four other guests, so it was quiet. However, only one restaurant was open, and food prices were very high—for example, 200 THB for French fries. Vegan options were extremely limited, especially at breakfast, which had a Western-style menu with mostly eggs. I had to make several special requests just to get something I could eat. On the first day, a waitress even tried to charge extra for plain rice, despite the fact that I couldn't eat most of what was offered. The staff were mixed. The receptionist and one male staff member were kind and helpful. However, one woman was rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I submitted a complaint, and while I received a response, they ignored my follow-up where I asked not to be served by her again and inquired about ingredients in a drink—no reply ever came.On the last morning, I had pre-ordered breakfast, but several items were missing, like juice and toast. Communication was poor. I had asked for garlic to be chopped in my rice and was given raw garlic. I also asked multiple times for no sweet peppers, but they kept being included. It felt like there was little effort to listen or accommodate dietary needs. There’s no phone in the room, no room service (because guests are not allowed to eat in the rooms), and the beach in front of the hotel isn’t great—mostly stones, then a patch of sand. The fridge had a few complimentary items on the first day, excluding alcohol.Another thing to be aware of is that the hotel does not provide complimentary transport off the island. To leave, you have to pay 250 THB.

We liked the very unique location and quietness. The amenities were nice, we took the kayak at sunset and it was a wonderful experience

The breakfast could be way improved. The room is a bit small and the shower didn’t work well and it was very hot and humid in the bahtroom

Everything is so nice and clean. Staff are very friendly

What we did not like is that we cant stay longer and we would not want to leave ❤️❤️❤️

Loved it! The resort is sooo pretty and we honestly enjoyed it so much we booked an extra night when we already had a non refundable booking elsewhere. Great staff, helped with everything we needed, our room was beautiful and spacious.

This staff at this lovely and well run boutique hotel are highlight they make every interaction lovely. The food in the restaurant is excellent we had two delicious dinners there. Very good papaya salad and curry. We had a family cottage constructed out of what looked like teakwood and colored glass, it was a fantastic design really a cut above it's made the downtime special. They have a good pool and it's a 20-minute walk to a Long Beach that is clean with crystal clear water.

You can't just roll to the beach from your room.

Beautiful Chalet Resort! We stayed in a superior bungalow for 2 nights and wished we’d stayed longer. Clean, great food, lovely swimming pool too. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the sunrise… amazing!

    The accommodation and private beach.

No free return transfer. Noisy children in the pool. Tours double the price compared to main beach area.

    9CorinnePosted on: 4-13-2025

Very friendly staff, lovely pool and spacious bungalow with amazing view.A little remote, so away from the overtourism. There is a little village just 10 mins away (walking distance) with some cool bars and restaurants as well as a dive center.

    6BurakPosted on: 4-13-2025

It is located on the other side of the island. It is necessary to arrange a boat every time to go to the center. The hotel only arranges a boat for the entrance and charges a fee for the return. The breakfasts were good but the food was of poor quality despite being overpriced.

What a beautiful place to stay . Superb rooms , amazing staff , great breakfast and a good menu for lunch and dinner . A beautiful quiet part of Phi phi .. wonderful snorkelling from the beach in front of the hotel .. and 20 min walk along a coastal path to a long beach with ample bars , places to eat or 5 min walk to a smaller beach that’s got a lovely sand bar , shops and places to eat . Also a 10 minute walk to another really rustic but beautiful beach where you can get a boat back to the main area or to another pier which links to the larger beach . Also a really nice swimming pool . Perfect getaway

    It was perfect

The place is very quiet and beautiful for those looking to disconnect in peace and quiet outside the hustle and bustle of the crowded areas of the touristy island. It is located next to a beautiful secluded beach.A few minutes away by tuk-tuk there is another cool beach and a 10-minute walk away there is a small village with good restaurants and bars. The staff is really nice and helpful with everything. The pool is really cool. The hotel's restaurant is good and serves both Thai and Western dishes. We took a full-day trip to Ko Phi Phi Leh and several other cool beaches and destinations through them. They organized everything and also gave us towels, lunch, cut fruit and water during the trip.In summary, this is a great hotel and we had a really fun experience. We would love to go back there in the future.

We spent 4 nights at Phu Chalet and Wes wish we could have stayed longer. It is the most fantastic location next to the sea but has a small village within 10 minutes walk with a few bars and restaurants. The chalets are really beautiful with gorgeous views. Don’t miss the Camel Rock and bat and the pineapple rice at Pad Thai is fantastic. We only ate Phu Chalet on our last nice which was a mistake because the food was possibly the best we have eaten so far. Thankyou Chon, Kem, Pop and Layla and of course the rest of the team for making our stay extra special

We are a family of 6. 2 adults and 4 kids ages 2,4,6.5,8.5. The kids enjoyed the stay. The room fittes just perfect for the three older ones, the 2 yo girl slept with us. The beds was very comfortable and big enough. The beach was just a stepp from the room door ??.The breakfast was very good. The staff was lovely and received us with A big smile from the first second we arrived. They helped us at the check in with our belongs and waited us at the Chek out to take everything to the boat. The only little issue (really little) about the location is that there are only 2 shuttles to the center of the island. Any other hour will be "spacial taxi". Compering to all above...it's a minor issue. .

    9AndrewPosted on: 3-15-2025

The view from our room was tremendous, with great snorkling, a lovely pool and nice tree house style ambiance and restaurant. The location was great in its own space and slightly away from more crowded areas

    10BrightPosted on: 3-13-2025

We loved the location, it was so peaceful yet within walking distance (or tuk tuk) to other beaches, and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The chalets were breathtaking with picture perfect views of the sea. The pool was great, and all areas were clean and tidy. The food was very good, and there was lots of choice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave!

    Nothing, it was perfect.
