Phi Phi Long Beach Bungalow ( Had Yao)

The location ist about 50 Meter away from the beach

The bed was very hard, you should directly ask for a top. Another problem was the bathroom, toilet and shower on the same ground level, which is not a problem in the first place, but the water after a shower has not completely removed.

It is quite a good resort. The facilities it offers and the communication of the staff were good. The bungalows are clean and very close to the sea.

Seeing a cockroach in the room was the only reason I deducted points from this facility. Pest control should be carried out more effectively, and better precautions should be taken against insects. Transportation to the center is only possible by long-tail boat, and having to pay a fee every time is annoying. This should be taken into consideration.

Breakfast was not bad. Very close to the beach which was wonderful. The office staff was great and helpful.

The furniture in the room was very outdated and minimal. Bed was not comfortable. The light in the room was dim. No towels first half of a day (they were out of dry towels). No one swept the paths between the bungalows, which were littered with leaves, I had to do it by myself. Something fell in the midnight on the top of our bungalow and we thought that it would be destroyed, very scary!2-3 restaurants where waitresses look like they are not glad to see you.

Bed was horrendous, I don’t think there was an actual mattress, it seemed more like a mattress pad laid on top of a box spring which meant you could feel the wooden bars. I don’t just mean the bed was uncomfortable, it was truly truly terrible

The location is great, just by the beach. The room was simple and didn't have a fridge but for phi phi the value for money was great. Breakfast spread was very nice and the complementary boat upon checkout was a welcomed bonus.

Staff was rude place was like 100 years old for the price washroom was like public toilet curtains all torn bed bugs all over the place stuff falling on the roof

Great location on long beach away from the caos, they provide towels and snorkeling mask for the beach, good breakfast and great staff! Great value for the price highly raccomended

Would have been great to have a mosquito net on the bed in our bungalow.

The location (Long Beach) is unbelievable, actual paradise, beautiful beach, away from the crowds (10 mins longboat to Tonsai Pier or 45 mins walk). Very good breakfast, good price for the location, good air conditioner, silence and peaceful surroundings, they five 2 free bottles of water daily. Beach towels and snorkeling masks available with no additional costs. Free boat on checkout.

There were two dead cockroaches when we first opened the door, reasonable facilities with need to update, weak shower.

The houses were cute, right by the beach, so the location was beautiful.

The bed was rock solid. There were ants in our room. The bathroom was not clean.

Location was amazing. Breakfast was excellent.

Bed was very hard. Buildings looked very tired and not taken care of. Other resorts and hotels around us had facilities like resturant, store, massage. This place had none.

We loved everything! The beach was fantastic the cabins were comfy and spacious and the location was perfect! Not sure why this place gets bad reviews.

Only complaint was the European lady thy might have semi run the place at breakfast was quite rude but all other staff was great!

The location by the sea was perfect. Loved Long Beach, you can enjoy it a lot.

Beautiful location for wanting a quieter time on phi phi island. Staff were all lovely and friendly

Beds were very uncomfortable and please be weary of an over familiar Italian couple who are extremely rude to guests. At times we wondered if they worked there. However after speaking to various people from the hotel with similar opinions, they don’t and are just guest who stay 6 months of the year. Don’t let there rudeness, over familiarity, and entitledness effect your stay.

Not worth the price at all

All the outside area of the property was dirty. Room was so basic, bed was so hard and uncomfortable. No fridge in the room, asked at the make shift bar at the property if they had ice and we were told no. Had to get a long tail boat across to the main part of phi phi which was 100 baht each, each way and at night time was supposed to be 150 baht each and we were charged 500 baht each one night.

We couldn’t pay by card. We had to draw cash from the atm and then pay.

Accomodation was on Long Beach in Kho Phi Phi. Staff were helpful and lovely.

Beds were hard, room was mosquito infested. Didn't get much sleep.

Very basic but in a good location if you want to relax.

Located on Long Beach, they are under Phi Phi Long beach Resort & Villas. Had Yao give you the saving cost offering more than the basics. Very clean bungalow, they even changed the bed sheet daily, staff at reception super nice, i wouldnt expect, super nice and welcoming, i asked to show me other villas they have and they did and explain the benefits.I choose 2 nights at Had Yao to extend my 4 nights trip. Staff even offered to upgrade and the upgrade was not expensive.Rooms have no fridge however you can upgrade for not a big amount. Had Yao is the cost effective and for what you pay for its really good especially if i will plan to stay 10-14 days in phi phi. You need more, pay more like i did 4 nights before.I have seen many negative reviews on them however i dont think they deserve it. As i said you want more luxury and view pay more or stay home. They do offer and have villas, cabanas and bungalows for any pocket.Staff at housekeeping very nice and helpful.And BTW their breakfast, i paid 200 thb extra, is even better than Vikings Resorts which is more expensive and very low in customer service. Had Yao and Phi Phi long beach resorts & villa have an amazing breakfast, for as low as 200 thb per person.
