Lovely place, sky in ski out, good food, new hotel, spa area with pool and sauna

Everything was just perfect

Perfect location within La Tania, evening food a little iffy, but a great hotel...

Food at hotel Montana - whilst you cant expect too much for 3 star, we thought chef was trying too hard, too many sauces, too fancy, but as its 3 star it doesn't quite meet expectations, in our opinion simple food done well would ne better than trying to be too fancy... But overall it was fine... we had breakfast and dinner, the dinner was the 'too fancy' part... or chef trying too hard part... but bar area is great... pool tables, etc... and hotel is in an excellent location right next to main lift and ski to the door, literally to the door.

Spa a little on show, felt too self conscious to use it.

Location was good. Pool, jacuzzis, sauna and steam were an added plus . Staff were all very friendly. Good to see conditioner in the shower (instead of just shampoo). Having parking was also useful.

Our room was extremely noisy. We didn’t sleep well for the week, with a very hard bed, and a lot of noise both morning and night. It could be that because our room was 109, we heard everything from the ground floor, and the bar across the road. Rooms in other locations may be quieter perhaps.Would benefit from a more comfortable bed and having facial tissues in the rooms. Pool/sauna etc could open earlier. Could make more use of the outdoor deck.

Great value for ski in - ski out and close to ski rentals & lessons, hospitable staff, nightly events (trivia, karaoke, live music), great breakfast. Definitely leans more towards families but a good base to familiarize yourself with 3 Vallées.

Location is ideal with ski in/out, 50m to the gondola, hotel is modernised, food was very good with options for children, breakfast is buffet of all different options from English to continental meats / cheeses and pastries. Bar was also relaxing with great views

Over the years this hotel used to open up the downstairs facility to supply tea and cookies at 16.00 in the afternoon FOC which was a real treat after a hard days sking. Now there is no tea and a very simple cake just left on the bar upstairs - bit disappointing especially if you have kids

Loved the breakfast (especially the yoghurt and crepes). Nothing to improve on the breakfast.

We often could only get a late slot for dinner - 20h45, then 20h30 and then 20h00. This was quite late for us. The service at dinner time was also sometimes quite slow - the one evening we had been seated for 45 minutes and had only eaten the starter. It may have been over the busier time. We still enjoyed the food and company.

Good location.

Food was poor. Beds were uncomfortable and the room smelt damp. Spa also wasn’t open until 3pm so if you’d taken a day off skiing you. Couldn’t utilise.

Location of the hotel was amazing and staff were very good.

The bunk bed in our family room requires replacing. My 8year old was on the top bunk and it creaked so much we had to take the mattress off and put it on the floor. More variety of food for dinner would be better. Simple dishes I.e pizzas or lasagna would be great.

In the heart of La Tania and we could ski 200 meters from the hotel ski room to the gondola. The best part of Le Montana is the staff - I don’t recall staying in a hotel where every single member of staff was so friendly and helpful. No exaggeration - every staff member was exceptional and made our stay very enjoyable.

We loved this hotel.

Hotel was very nice. Breakfast included into stay, access to sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and swimming poll.We had a beautiful north side view on mountains. And hotel room was decent size

The hotel restaurant was not opened yet and the swimming pool was still not filled with water (but as i mentioned it was 1st week of the season)

easy going hotel, good atmoshere, very friendly and helpful team. Ski in/out.

Kitchen / food is rather experimental and a bit chaotic - waffles for breakfast "like out of a shredder", onion soup barely edible (spicy), creme brulee - without 'brulee' since out of gas, different tables getting served different food, even though ordering same meal... (tbc)A little cumbersome to get your luggage to hotel / to your room (a trolley would be nice...); one elevator is not enough.

The property is in a beautiful location, surrounded by pine trees and mountains, the staff were very nice, warm and welcoming especially Sasha who gave us some great advice about the activities around. The breakfast is really good with freshly baked croissant and pain au chocolates, we loved it.

The man at the reception was super friendly, full marks for him . ( Sasha) The first really friendly service during the entire vacation. the sauna was good and the breakfast very good.

Good, solid breakfast. In the evening there are programs to entertain guests. Live fire place adding the charm. Sauna and the cold pool are definitely a plus! And excellent location next to the ski lift (ski in - ski out).

Excellent Location, Staff & Food Very good. Great place to stay in the 3 valleys

Having stayed at the hotel for the last 4 years with my family. it was always well received to finish sking at 4 and the hotel opening up the downstairs making tea and cookies available. This year wasn't the case which was very disappointing

Breakfast very good though last day had run out of fruit salad and the orange juice dispenser was passable;

Food ,daughter possibly got food poisoning;another family brought in take away pizzas into restaurant which says it all.also we were mistaken in thinking afternoon tea included a cup of tea and was included in half board;which it wasn’t

Great hotel, excellent hospitality, kind and welcoming staff, nice and comfortable rooms, good cuisine, nice spa area. We enjoyed our stay here very much (family of 5). Access to ski slopes through one gondola about 50-100m from hotel’s ski room (during end of March 2024 not enough snow in La Tania).
