The Essence Hotel offered lots of attention from the staff, as if we were family. The food was good, location was great - prices were fair. We loved  the bartender too! Anything we would ask for he would always say, Of course!

Very nice room with a terrasse and beautiful sea view. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Walking down to ornos beach was very steep and the traffic was constant especially in narrow winding roads. Take care is needed

Gorgeous, super friendly staff, close to beaches and a few restaurants (Farina was the best spot to eat). Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool area was super nice. Food was delicious and drinks at the bar were good. Laundry service was decent price as well and got it back the same day.

Thin walls could hear people talking or yelling in the hallway space

The entire staff was friendly and helpful with our needs. Our ocean front room was bright and roomy. Our day got off to a great start with a tasty breakfast with many choices!

The stairs up to our second floor room were a bit challenging. A handrailing would have been helpful. The chairs on the outside deck were very uncomfortable; for that reason, we didn't use the deck very often.

The hotel is on a gentle hill overlooking fantastic view. 7 minute walk from the bus stop and beach. Our twin room is fresh and contemporary however it is rather small for the price they are charging. Notably, there is no kettle and a small tv with only national channels! All staff are very friendly and attentive, special shout out to Niklos who gave excellent customer service.

Despite what other reviewers might said, the food is a major let down. We were on half board basis, the breakfast buffet is passable with limited options. The dinner is not buffet, has it's own 'half board' menu (made to order) separated from a la carte menu. The choice is extremely limited and disappointingly it has never changed over our 11 night stay. The vegetarian linguine was swimming in the oil whilst the beef burger is ridiculously basic with soggy fries (how could any respectable chief not able to get fries crispy?). After every single dish from the menu, we ended up ordering the same dishes night after night. Even with the same dishes, they are often cooked inconsistently; either over-cooked or too salty. I have enclosed photos which you can judge for yourself.

We loved absolutely everything, the staff were extremely polite and welcoming, the facilities were incredible clean! We can’t thank you enough!

The only slight negative was just the small selection of food but that’s just me being picky?

Varied amount of choices for breakfast ... eggs etc, but a lot of healthy options, yogurt, fresh fruit, and of course delightful baked pastry goods. The room, restaurant and pool area were beautiful and we enjoyed the view from every area. Every staff member was friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the location required a steep walk down into town. Of course to get the view you have to be high up, but this is a consideration if you will find the walk hard.

Perfect hotel. Amazing rooms with beautiful balcony with the best views of sunrise and sunset. Wonderful staff and very helpful. 10/10 for cleanliness with complimentary room tidy up and fresh sheets and towels everyday. Excellent breakfast selection. Good location whether you higher a car or choose to do public transport. Highly Recommend

Maybe a bigger tv/ smart tv

Staff : Mirto, Katerina and all the other staff did their very best to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was sumptuous. Coffee in particular was great!

Great location, close to the beach, bars and restaurants. A very quiet place. The most amazing and very professional staff.

Lovely and helpful staff, comfortable room with great shower and toiletries provided, nice pool and good buffet breakfast.

The walls were a bit thin so we had to sleep with earplugs as some of the other guests were very loud through the night.

Bad Location really need a shuttle bus to get down the hill and into run town. Lots of steps at the hotel not good. I’m very disappointed our tv didn’t work. Don’t like using app. Cocktails were small week expensive for what they were.

Excellent location on a quieter area, yet close enough to the beach, beautiful outdoor discs with a nice pool, excellent and friendly staff and fantastic breakfast, very clean rooms and public spaces

Our stay at Mykonos Essence was simply perfect, the staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful.The food and drinks were great, rooms nice, cool and clean and the pool had a wonderful view.Would definitely return, a big thank you to all of the team!

The greeting on arrival was the best I've had- lovely front of house. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was good quality with lots of options. The elevated aspect of the hotel gave lovely views and the location was superb.

The wifi is easy to access but the internet connection speed is slow during the day when many of the guests are logged in and sharing the bandwidth. Early hours it was perfect.
