The location, the staff and the room were all amazing.

Bed. Bathroom. Pool deck chairs. Staff off with the fairies regularly.

Breakfast included was great! Exceptional views of surfing from the pool area.

People not staying at Bomboara but using the pool in large, noisy groups, ignoring staff.

The family room was very spacious but some things needs to be maintained, like the shutters to the balcony.

Good location, great bed.

Our sheets had mold (ocean view room) and there was insect larva. And my husband got bed bugs bite. But the staff, especially the manager Indra was understanding and helped us change the room at night immediately. However we felt uncomfortable to continue our stay and left the next day after calling booking.com and explaining the above situation to refund us.

Staff were lovely - especially Nopi, her service was exceptional. Location was amazing - surf right out the front and pool had the perfect vantage point. Rooms were comfortable and food was great! We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back to stay again.

Only issue we had was the wifi speed.

This was my third time visiting Bombora. As always I loved it, love the friendly staff, the location, the pool, the food, everything is perfect.

that i had to leave

After braving the crazy 3-4 hour road trip from Ngurah Rai, you will arrive on the best surf hotel. The location feels like Kuta in the 90's and I hope it stays that way. Everything is comfortable, clean, and you can spend the day just watching the wave from the pool. I am not a surfer but my partner is already planning to come back. Certainly suitable for surfer and lazy poolside couple. There's nothing else to do but surf and drink.

Nothing. We have the aircon died on us but they fixed it straight away.

The staff is incredibly kind, super friendly, always here to help you. The view is fantastic - especially from the swimming pool! Room is really quiet, comfy and private. Food is great especially açai bowl, smoothies and chicken quesadillas were our favorites on the menu. Best spot for surfers!

If you’re not a surfy there is not much to do around. Bring a good book, yoga mats or simply enjoy some local massages :)

Absolutely loved it here they thought of everything including yoga mats and exercise balls, surf racks for your boards, breakfast menu was amazing which included açaí bowls we will be back

Breakfast was quite good, with nice options. Staff is kind and friendly. View from the pool and over the sunset is also very nice. To watch all the surfers on the water is great!

The style of the room, awful doors in bathrooms. Water was leaking in bathrooms, all the time the floor was wet. First night there was a very load party next to the hotel on the street until 10pm. The staff did not warn us beforehand, we have a small child. Communicating before coming to hotel was also very difficult with the staff by email and booking.Pool towels and towels in the room very very warn out and had old stains and tears on them. What was especially weird- the hotel is situated next to an ocean, fisherman boats 2 min from the hotel and the hotel does not offer fish (freshly caught) in their restaurant. We had to negotiate with the fishermen themselves and buy from them and then take the fish to the hotel and then the kitchen staff would prepare it for the extra fee.The beach in front of the hotel and near is not swimmable and really dirty.

Choose a room upstairs with more ventilation if you can. The downstairs rooms are good but upstairs would be better for ventilation

Can not beat location, beautiful staff and management. Pool area was perfect and restaurant was perfect!

What’s not to like

Can't wait to get back to Bombora Medewi! Amazing staff and location, the hotel is right on the surf break so you can sit back, relax and enjoy watching the waves and surfers for hours. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious and very filling - and the rest of the menu is extensive and well priced. ?
