Noisy first floor, room change was requested

Clean, large rooms, it was nice to get sunscreen, bathrobes , very nice pool area

Reception personnel (two ladies) was not welcoming and friendly. They could deliver the same information in a different way so we could feel cared after a long trip .

The reception manager Jorge was amazing at his job, top level service.

The bedroom. We value a good night’s sleep & that was impossible for us with all the lighting. The breakfast was also a big disappointment compared to the reviews.

The infinity pool was fantastic, the staff were very helpful and the rooms clean and well serviced each day. Our king bed was huge and very comfortable. The food from the Atlantic Pool Bar was very good and we really enjoyed our stay. It was located in the Marina, a short walk into the main beachfront strip, so the location for us was good. We had small, functional, kitchen and there was a supermarket a short walk from the hotel.

There are three lifts that were just a bit too small and would only comfortably hold 3 people. Quite often, at busy times, you would need to wait for 2 or 3 lifts to go by, especially if you valued your personal space.

Food from bar menu is not very good had chicken burger with chips on my 1st afternoon there extremely greasy, no extra toilet roll put in room after the room had been serviced, upon checkout wasn’t asked at reception if I enjoyed stay etc, being able to leave luggage in storage room was beneficial to us tho as we had a late flight home

Great location. Walking distance from bus station, ferries, shops. Good facilities in the hotel with a lovely pool, great views from the room of the marina and beach. Good restaurant and poolside bar. Always a sunbed available. Really quiet and homely hotel for any combination of family group.

A bit of shabbiness has crept in since first I stayed here many years ago..I was v kindly moved to a wheelchair friendly room when requested as I needed avwalk in shower this time but the extras for which I had paid did nt follow me!! Robes..Nice red bag..wine etcetc

The hotel has all you need to have a fantastic time. Comfy beds, generous space, beautiful view, the infinity pool is fantastic. The room is full.of details that make your stay as you were at home. Its not an adult only hotel, but its also not a kids oriented hotel. Worth to mention it has pool and ping pong tables, which made our evenings funnier.

We went for a room that included an outdoor cabana/outdoor bed area. The photos make it look secluded and peaceful, but this is far from reality. You look straight out onto a hot tub, which might not sound so bad, however, when trying to relax in the privacy of your own room, it's quite off putting having a hot tub full of people looking at you. The room itself was spacious. However, the bedroom is at the front of the hotel room, directly next to a large common area, including a bank of lifts. This results in constant noise from other residents who often congregate or noisily pass by your bedroom day and night!! Therefore, the room as a whole is book ended by a noisy hallway at one end and a noisy hot tub area at the other. If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful time, do not book any rooms on the first floor.

All of it ! Apart from the comment below, the majority of the staff were amazing.

The reception staff were not always the most attentive. We walked past several times without them looking up from their computer screens. This is a shame as they are the first people you encounter.

Amazing location!! Wonderful staff and hospitality, clean facilities. The restaurant quality is superb and we loved the food, service.

The lifts were very busy and we had to wait a lot for them because we had a pram.

The pool is one of the best I have seen

The room was on the ground floor with a window that opened to an internal public area so was very noisy. The air conditioning could not be left on as it was like a freight training running through the room so the window had to be left open. Either way the noise wakes you in the middle of the night. The shower was almost impossible to turn on and when we did manage it we had to leave it running for the 3 occupants. When we shut the bathroom door it had to be locked as it would not close without the lock. Every time we shut the door the grate on the air filter fell off the wall. I paid £600 euro over and above the 2500 euro for the room for my daughter to join us for part of the stay. The additional bed for this money was a camp bed in the lounge and every day we had to ask for the third towel as room service were never informed that there were three people. I had to go and find them every day to get the third towel. I could get it for the first day but it became tiresome on day 6. Breakfast does not open until 8 so the door to outside is locked until 8 as the breakfast area is next to the pool. So if you want to just watch the sunrise by the pool or just get some fresh air before 8am and look at the Sea you just cant. This also meant that from 7.30 the queue formed for breakfast outside our bedroom door.

Beautiful spacious apartment, excellent staff, amazing pool and beautiful pool bar restaurant ?there are some seats down in an adults only area perfect to take a book and just listen to the waves crash so relaxing ?

Amazing infinity pool, and, breakfast variety for every taste. Always plenty of room to choose from at tables and pool. Clean, comfortable beds, fully stocked with necessities, beautiful scenery, no hidden fees. Would love to come back again!

Information about in-room phone and safe at check in. There is no landline phone service in Puerto Rico, so don’t try to call front desk from the phone in the room?like we did. Safe requires a key and is charged to your room each day. The balconies are facing not so nice dock yard with old boats piled up, behind which you can see the harbor and ocean. Elevators are very small, and, slow.

We not like noic from truck in the morning 0400 Clock and again 0600 in 6days??

Clean. La Puerta’s food was excellent. Room was great.

Well located at sea level. Great balcony and spacious suite. Well organised and varied breakfast, nice indoor/outdoor set up for breakfast.

Smoking is allowed on balconies and as we had smokers in the next room, our balcony was effectively unusable whenever they lit up.
