Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Andamans

The people were very friendly. I wanted to mention hotel employees who went above and beyond through out to ensure we had a great experience. The folks at the spa were also very kind to watch our 5 yr old son while we were receiving treatment.

The location was far off and the food was expensive in the hotel and choices were limited.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Taj Exotica. From the moment we landed on the island until our departure, the hospitality and care shown by the staff were exceptional. A special shout-out to hotel employee for going the extra mile throughout our stay.

The breakfast was amazing ,lavish and full of varieties . Specific mention of chef Deepak & Jai Singh Shekhawat , both were master of culinary art. They took extraordinary special care of our dietary requirements.

Outdoor furniture, kept outside the villa shall be cleaned in the evening and morning for sit out.

We are pretty experienced couple in exploring hotels around the world. Especially we value premises and venues well designated for short term escapes (a week) as we are after natural wish to spend every moment enjoying. We made 20 hours trip with 3 connections from different continent to get to Taj Andamans and we have no single molecule of regret. We were just delighted. We are full of enthusiasm to share our emotion and recommend Taj Andamans as best choice for ever best escape a human being may find in the admirable nature. Details: fantastic friendly and professional Team. "Said" means "deed" with no exceptions. All wishes met, all promises kept, no single detail was out of the picture. Would not exaggerate saying it was ever best service we received over last 10 years. Stunning views and sunset experience at the "paradise-like" beach which is just a few meters away from the hotel.

After really thorough cross-check in mind... well nothing to say. Just minor comment: SPA desk communications in respect of English could be improved to avoid misinterpretations and provide easier process of selection of treatments.

Amazing location on the Radhanagar beach which is breathtakingly beautiful. Excellent welcome and very courteous staff.

There was nothing not to like, just that the ferry ride from Port Blair to Havelock was not easy. Bigger and more stable ferries should be deployed.

we had constant noie for 48 hours from a nearby temple . which went on continously for two days . i am sure hotel people where helpless and this is was one off thing

More of a forest resort than a beach resort as none of the villa’s are facing the beach

The breakfast and dinner place both the Mexican and Mediterranean was excellent, especially the service was very good by Mr. Vikas in particular. We have a half board package and was surprised that we could select almost any dish from the menu. This is very good.

The location and grounds are stunning and the room was fabulous. The service was warm and friendly and the quality of the food was superb.

I was surprised that there were no robes, no coffee maker and no turn down service in our room. There were also no colourful cushions as per the hotel pictures. The AC was very drafty blowing directly onto the bed and we were disturbed all one afternoon by a very noisy grass-cutter. I also hated the slatted bathroom floor because the cleaners wouldn't be able to access the underfloor area.Most importantly, we were extremely disappointed with the design of the common areas. So much so that we almost left after our first night. There was a complete lack of atmosphere in both the bar area - which was dingy and unappealling - and the large restaurant which echoed with the sound of screaming kids. We also found the prices to be very high: 500 rupees for a roti is ridiculous. There was another restaurant but that was for just ten people and you had to commit to paying for a very expensive taster menu.The pool was extremely long but as it was all one area, children tended to monopolise the central area and so it was impossible to swim laps.We were extremely frustrated by the lack of information and a map of the hotel. We were given a long briefing when we arrived but when you are travel weary and keen to get to your room it's not a good time to take on board a raft of information. We discovered on day three that there was info on the TV but it was impossible to access unless you called someone to show you how to do it.

Great food and amazing villas. Really liked activities they have for kids like fish and duck feeding, inter-tidal walk, hi-tea, etc. Property is beautiful and you don’t need to step out much. Best part was yoga session and Olympic size pool overlooking ocean.

The property was a nice property and the beach was good. However the best thing about the place was the hospitality of the people there. Special mention to Abishek and Mahendra who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cater to our needs.The story telling dinner that we had at The Settlers restaurant was also excellent and not to be missed.

Very far from most shops and restaurants, the hotel beach has no where to lay down and relax and the in room dining is delicious however very overpriced for India

There were bed bugs in the room and we got bit. Looks like the staff knew about it and they still gave us the room without considering we were travelling with a baby.

The staff , cleanliness and the food.

Best beach area. Always clean and comfortable to swim. Very green territory with a big variety of trees/bushes/flowers. Each guest has a villa to stay in. Helpful staff. Diving centre and activities can be organised on the spot. Nice Restaurants. Buggy for your comfort if you are far from beach, amenities.

AC can be organised the different way so that the flow shouldn’t blow your head while you sleep. Mb I haven’t found the right way to regulate it. But the temperature in the room was comfortable while +35 outside.

The resort is absolutely fabulous with fantastic levels of comfort and cleanliness. The villas are truly large and luxurious. The best feature is the private access to the best white-sand beach on the island. The staff are very polite and friendly. The reception personnel, particularly Pooja and Ritesh, were very helpful. Changed our villa to a closer one as ours was initially quite far from the main restaurants and bar. Also, they willingly agreed to our request for a late checkout. We loved everything about it.

Food was very yummy. We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights, only 2 restaurants so got a bit bored by the end.Stayed in a villa with a pool which was very spacious and lovely. Staff was very friendly and always helping. The beach was unbelievable.

Wish they has nannies or a kids club. Would have helped as we stayed 7nights. We couldn't order food or drinks at the beach which was surprising. Very expensive, but totally worth it.

Position on the most beautiful beach

Common areas - reception and restaurant buildings do not fit with the wonderful nature around. Colours and furniture like being in a city. Too dark colours. Villas very large and confortable with a wonderful patio with view on the nature. Personnel very kind and available at any time! Santosh on the beach top!!!!!!!
