Silver Sand Beach Resort-Neil Island

Clean and well laid out property. Beach front good to sit but not good for bathing. The Spa was good.

Restaurant food was overpriced and quality average. Property far away from anywhere should have had an active restaurant at all time to order food/ snacks and cold drinks. Could improve their wifiCould have an activity center with indoor games, TT, etc

- Excellent Food- Well Spread out rooms with direct access to private pool.- Very helpful courteous staff.- Clean Swimming pool

- Wifi was patchy across the property

The set up is nice and hotel has a lot of potential

Early morning staff shouting outside (which bungalow had guests in it), calling the door bell (asking if I had hot water), calling the phone (so I didn’t miss breakfast). I know these are all done with good intentions but it’s not relaxing for anyone who is on holiday.

The breakfast was widespread.

The rooms were very small.The rooms are very close to each other.everything in the room,water,tea bags are very miserly kept.The approach road to the property is run down.The warm water comes to the shower after sometime and is not hot enough.The food is frightfully expensive and we had to order outside.The photos are not representative of the actual stateIn general it is a rundown property not worth what they are charging.

The room was very small and outdated Sheets and towels not good smelling Poor breackfast for europeans. Lots of mosquitos because the vecinity of a pond full of trash

The property is nice and green. The private beach is a bonus. It’s not really a beach where you can swim, but it is a beach for what it is worth and they put some nice lounge chairs for guest to lounge around.The food at the restaurant was good. The staff were friendly special mention to Sudipta, who was super professional at the restaurant.

The rooms were disappointing. It was not worth the money they charged. However, we went there during holiday season, so everything seemed to be expensive. This is still not an excuse, though, for the exorbitant pricing. Rooms are charged reasonably or value is provided for the amount that is being charged. It could be detrimental to the tourism to these beautiful islands.

Clean, spacious and large room. Well maintained private beach and other facilities.

No area to hang towel or clothes in bathroom .

I liked the food and the friendly waiters,chefs,and hotel boys and girls.The location is excellent near the beaches.

Gala dinner had no info or menu for the guest,just that it was with additional cost.Maid and room cleaning should be coming every day for maintenance.It was visited by cockroaches more than by staff.The private beach is not for swimming,too many pebbles.I am a foreigner, English is an issue,Hindi is not.I was very Indian friendly,as a foreigner I felt excluded and not welcomed.No WiFi,even for payment at reception is an issue.No International or English TV or smart TV.Pina colada was a joke,no ice for Cocktails,It is not comparable to international standards at all .The entrance road to the resort is just gravel not really well maintained.

Very yummy food and ambience. Just a best resort in Neil island . pool , beach and bar area all awesome .Staff friendly nature tooo humble, will surely recommend this to stay over .

The property is pretty big, close to the Jetty. Staffs at the restaurant are nice.

The linen were poor, there were no liquid handwash in the bathroom. The washroom in the dining area stinks like it’s never been cleaned. Food is not good and expensive. The property doesn’t have umbrellas, no proper first aid materials. The property also doesn’t provide WiFi if that is something which matters.

i liked the facility as a whole. the private beach was in low tide so the water was quite distant. But still beautiful the road to the property was narrow. so cars could not pass to and from simultaneously. but still i did not feel it was a hassle.any beautiful place is secluded and requires effort.personal note to keep the island beautiful and clean: i encourage the travelers and the tourist to bring their own water bottles and fill them up from the dispenser instead of buying packaged drinking water#carry your own bags instead of plastic bags#you can return to the hotel and throw all your used wrappers.#carry your own bamboo/metal straw instead of using paper straws#let us all be sensible travelers

They did the best efforts. it would be self centered to point out the flaws that they did not have. If u have to make a little effort to reach this beautiful hotel, i suggest you make the effort! its good the way it is.#only flaw i would say it had: The AC was dripping water inside the room occasionally. This needs to be dealt with
