Pros +
- The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was very clean with good service from staff. The spa was amazing. The market was convenient and well stocked. There was plenty of parking available.
- Good food, nice view, great location!
- staff, view, breakfast, dinner, spacious rooms, live band in the evening, a lot of forest around the facility
Cons -
- The rooms are rather outdated and leave a lot to be desired. It felt like being in a 60s time capsule. The beds were very very uncomfortable. They were so hard it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The couch in the room was stained and had an odd smell.
- The bed is not the most comfortable, the room looks like it was renovated in 3 different styles. The pool looks unhygienic, the indoor pool has sea water and was to cold to enjoy (in November). The spa was ok but the Turkish sauna did not work and the water smelled bad.
- Expected a bit more of food options and quality but it was fine.Couldn't adjust climate or ventilation in my room so it was a bit too hot (all connected to the same system so can't individually turn it off)

Slippery tiles around the pool and outdoor hotel areas - saw multiple people slip - big accident potential, especially with smaller kids.TV screen size quite small. Furniture dated and somewhat unmaintained (loose hinge)Long waiting times for elevator around dinner/breakfast time - saw multiple people argue to get the luggage in.Difficult to find parking since it's shared with the camp - had to park quite far from the entrance to hotel, would be nice to have a few baggage drop/pickup spots in front of hotel with better possibility to U-turn. Pedestrians, e-scooters and cars competing for road surface on the strip between Hedera and Mimosa enterance.Expensive prices of pretty much everything in small hotel market probably due to absence of competition.Beer is still expensive but cheap compared to other stuff.
The location is great, it’s close to the sea and just a short walk from the public beach, which was very convenient. The room size was decent and comfortable enough for our stay. The staff in the snack bar is very friendly.
The bathroom and toilet were dirty when we arrived, and the hotel said they could only clean it the next day, without offering any alternative. The food is okay but feels more like canteen food, and the restaurants get very busy. Cocktails and coffees come from machines and aren’t great, with the coffee being quite bad. The rooms are a bit outdated, and the balconies offer little privacy because the dividers are very low. The pools also get very crowded, and all the sunbeds are taken early in the morning. There’s only one electrical outlet in the room.
Location was ok, spa was good. Very friendly ladies in the spa
The unfriendly staff at the reception upon check in and the staff in the restaurant
We were pleased to see that resort is well adjusted to kids - pool, playground, mini golf, mini disco - a lot of activities. Hotel is near the beach, there are sunbeds that are free and there are also the ones to pay. Food was good, stuff friendly. We felt welcomed.
Unfortunately, the hotel which has 7 floors, has only two small elevators. This means a lots of waiting as it gets crowdy, especially around breakfast/dinner, people coming from the beach, coming/leaving with the luggage...
The food selection for breakfast and dinner was great. Room size was good. Beach is close to the hotel so as the groceries store. The staff was kind. We didn't use facilities like swimming pool or spa but pools seemed very nice and fun.
We booked two rooms and none of them was like new, bright and beachy rooms shown on the pictures. It was really disappointing to see dark, outdated rooms. The shower and shower doors were broken so as the terace door. Not mentioning the hairdryer that overheats every minute. The main ventilation hole was right above our bed so we could'n sleep because it made noise all night. The TV was useless, since all the channels were on language we don't understand and we couldn't get YouTube running to play some cartoon for the kids because the internet was so poor that I gave up connecting to it. We've been in many 4 star hotels and this one is not even close to it (for the price we paid and what we got).
Hotel as an infrastructure
You need to fight for a place in the shade on the beach - hotel have a reserved place there next to the sea, but everything is “reserved” by towels before 8 o’clock - the guests (oldies) are really mean when to try to get a place under the tree - usually also the employers from hotel join them to yell on you - espacialy if you are younger (under 40) with a small child - defenitly not coming back, not because of hotel but because of mean guests which are massive coming with agencies
The location and the swimming pools
The staff was not very helpful. There were few meal options for people who didn't book the all inclusive. Quality of the wi-fi was terrible.
Very close to the ocean and the seafront with shops and restaurants. Spacious rooms with great view to the ocean and the forest. Great location overall with many things to do for a few days.
Terrible Wi-Fi with slow and unstable connection. I slipped on the ramp as the water sprinkler for the lawn was making it wet, and the tiles were very slippery. The breakfast Buffett is subpar, with limited meat and cheese options. No fish at all, which is odd for a hotel in Croatia at the sea. The reservation system for the breakfast tables was unclear and confusing, so we ended up without a table at times or got into arguments with other guests. The elevators are VERY tiny, and you have to wait a long time if you need to transport your luggage. There are also not enough parking lots if you come by car. There are no sufficient places with a shade at the beach from the hotels. Shades are offered by a third party for 25€/day. Many families with children, as such it is noisy. Balconies have no blinds or other kind of view/noise blocking. So kids may peek into your room or scream around. Our shower drain was clogged. Prices in the area are crazy high since they introduced the Euro. Overall, too expensive for what we got.
excellent food and restaurant service personell
eliminate foul smell from bathrooms. even after changing the room foul smell experienced in a new room.
The hotel is very well situated and was very confortable. Nice facilities available for everyone.
Rooms were old and needed some renovations.
Excellent location. The long and rocky beach is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The view from the balcony is beautiful. The hotel itself is rather older , but the room was recently renovated.
One or two lugage holders would have been useful in our room. The breakfast/dinner room is too big. It is full with people and it is very loud!!! The tables are also too close to each other, so there is not much privacy there. The elavetors are small and usually busy so it is quicker to use the stairway instead, even from the 4th floor....
Location, activities included in the price (fitness, swimming pools, amusement “park”)
Two very small and slow elevators for 7 floors. Very poor air conditioning. The bathroom is poorly maintained, hair dryer may be suitable for someone with hair shorter than 2 cm, definitely not for long hair. The duration of the dinner is very short, so it was very crowded.
Lovely beach. great location. Good value for money.
Room smelled like smoke. minimal facilities in rooms. A kettle, wine glasses ect would be great. Shower leaked. Food was good and a nice inclusion. Beach was spectacular ?
Staff was really helpful, friendly and professional. The main bar was pleasantly eventful in evening hours. Great music, even better table service with a selection of well prepared drinks.
Unfortunately, there were just two elevators for the whole Hedera hotel. Each held a maximum of 3-4 people. We were constantly waiting for a free one, especially at the time of breakfast or dinner. We also did not have any privacy on the balcony at all. Between the balconies there was a low fence and we could see a whole row of neighbours, including other people that were at different floors than us. It was a bit too open for our taste. Other than that, everything was great.
Nice staff, cleanliness, breakfast was good, dinner could be better but you get a free drink. We used a pool of adjacent Mimosa hotel, which is closer to the beach, so you have only a few steps to the sea.
We requested a room at higher floor because of view, but got a room at second floor with poor view. Beds were not so comfy, strange feeling like sleeping on a plastic.
people, employees, food
small swimming pool and gym, cannot accomodate even 5% of all guests, during stay they didn’t clean the room floor. Room was dirty already on arrival, quite dusty. beds are hard, covered in PVC materil which you can hear when you move. Elevators are too small for the size of the hotel.
Location, sea view, breakfast, nice balcony
Ceramic tiles on the room floor, half a kilo room key, narrow bed with some kind of plastic covering under the bedsheets
