Hotel Saint Hildegard

Actually i am just gonna keep it short: this hotel was the best experience of my life. The best view ever, huge room, and the beach is JUST PERFECT. I am definitely coming back!

The restaurant was not the best if you don’t have the full board. The prices were expensive and not so many options.

We loved the location, right on the beach and easy to get to. The rooms were extremely clean and new, spacious bed and white towels. Breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. The beach is quiet, clean and sunbeds are free.

We booked a room with a balcony, however it was not advertised anywhere that the balcony is shared with three other rooms. We had the curtain drawn the entire time due to privacy, which is a shame since the view was fabulous. That was disappointing since we paid extra for a balcony and ended up not using it at all.

Only buffet. For the smaller water it would be nice to have other dinner options.

This hotel is situated directly on the beach, immaculately clean, good breakfasts,perfect room with beautiful sea view. The staff are super helpful and friendly in particular Manuela in the restaurant so very friendly,helpful and always with a smile.I would recommend highly ‘Hotel Saint Hildergard ‘ to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful area. Having a car is in my opinion a necessity as the hotel while not isolated is not near to restaurants etc.,

Parking while being free can be difficult .This was the only downside.

Beautiful private beach location and view out to the water. Laundry was available and was excellent.

The hotel is lovely and position in also excellent. The food is very good but the menu is the day was better than the evening which was different - not sure why. The evening menu was quite limited. The wine is very expensive for croatian wine - again not sure why. over 50 euro per bottle. No negatives here and would stay gain - great little beach and really nice to swim - Ommis was really quaint too. Staff very helpful and all friendly

Just the food menu was a bit odd in the evening. The choice in the daytime was much better. Wine too expensive

The hotel was lovely, staff was kind, and what you see is what you get from the pictures. It was an absolutely fantastic stay!

The food at the restaurant was excellent. It wasn't local dishes, but everything was very good. Some of the roads into to the town were challenging for a non-local, but it was totally worth the drive.

Hotel was lovely, right on the beach with a stunning view ! Staff were lovely and helpful, good food.We enjoyed sitting outside for dinner and watching the gorgeous sunset. Perfect for a restful, relaxing stay ?

Nothing...although not much to walk to really but taxi driver Daniel lives nearby and was very helpful on information and tips on places to visit.

Proximity to sea. Breakfast. Quiet.Lovely welcome at reception, and friendly staff in restaurant and housekeeping.

Pool wasn't great, but could spend all time by the sea instead. Room was large (one of the nicest) but facilities were lacking - no coffee / not allowed cutlery or crockery. Isolated unless prepared to go for a drive. Not suitable for walks.

Dinner menu is limited and over priced (€16 for a small bowl of shop-bought pasta) One of my kids asked for a glass of tap water with her meal and was told they don't serve it?!Attitude of the male manager at check in was poor - no effort to help us with our bags or greet us, he just sat on his phone (although the other reception staff were lovely and helpful).It felt a bit unloved - pictures hanging off the walls in the corridors, and a strange area on the first floor which could have been great (there was a pool table and a place to buy ice creams) but was never staffed, and used as a dumping ground for paddle boardsI had booked a suite but was instead given a standard room - no apologies or any offer of compensation (I was told that 'suite' in Croatian just means a room)

The food at the restaurant was amazing, the staff at the hotel was so wonderful, rooms very clean and beach was lovely! We can’t wait to stay for a longer period of time in the future.

Amazing place, very nice staff. The sea is beautiful, the pool is fantastic. The food was delicious.

One of our rooms was quite small.

I'll start with the positives. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. The beach is directly in front of the hotel, the sunbeds are comfortable, and there are umbrellas as well. The water is crystal clear and pleasantly warm.

Upon arrival, the accommodation fee was already deducted, which I found a bit strange, as this is not a usual procedure. The most disturbing thing was the sewage smell that spread in the building (especially on the 4th floor) and on the restaurant's terrace. Another major disappointment was that, although the hotel's website advertises its gastronomy as high-quality, the food in the restaurant couldn't even be considered of mediocre quality. The juice in the cocktail was stale and fermented, and the meat in the sandwich was spoiled and inedible. The selection was also very poor. At breakfast, the salamis and cold cuts were leftovers from the previous day or two. The juice was stale and fermented. The bakery products were not fresh either, they were dry, and it was clear they were taken from the freezer. The fruit was also not fresh, it was stale. The parking spaces are very narrow. The driver needs to be skillful to park the car.If more attention is paid to the quality of the food, and if the sewage smell problem could be resolved somehow, this place could be first-class. These two issues significantly ruin the experience.

Excellent location!

Dinner menu could have been broader to cater more for children. Some meal portions were small given the price.

It was clean, nicely designed and right on the beach (nice pebble beach). The great thing is that the sun loungers and umbrellas were free. The staff was also nice.

Access - it is on a hill, so a bit tricky for a car to get there. Also, not enough sun loungers on the beach, so make sure to "reserve" them in the morning.

This hotel is directly on the beach so we had first class sea view. The beach in front of the hotel was a bit crowded ONLY on saturday (I think it's normal in high season.) but on other day it was OK. Restaurant is open to everyone but tables on the terrace are reserved only for guests of the hotel. Meals are delicious.Due to helpful service and nice location we had unforgetable summer holiday.
