Brijuni Hotel Istra

This hotel is all about the location. You are right in the national park on an island, surrounded by nature and incredible views.

I can understand the price, as the hotel is located in the Brijuni National Park, but they really need to step up their game. The hotel needs some touching up, and the staff could be friendlier.

All the people who work there were great. Food is fantastic. Room is nice, and outdoor props, nature, sea are g r e a t !

Kitchen AC unit is turning off and on, non-stop for 24 hours, making loud noise right infront our room. That was baaad. Unit is obviously old and have no noise inuslation of any kind and just a placrment near the rooms is a disaster.

Everything was great. Room is so big, bathroom clean.People who work there are so kind and wants to help.We had breakfast and dinner and we was very satisfied.We will come back for sure.

Well the hotel is little outdated but the staff if great, very helpful and making you feel confortable the whole time - from the captain of the boat and his crew that takes you to the island, waiters, cleaning service, front desk to the lady manager. And the nature around will leave you speechless.

The employees are very kind and always do their best to satisfy the customers.

The hotel is very old and the food … it’s not good at all. On the other hand the island is a paradise and compensate the ugliness of the hotel

It was an amazing experience in the middle of nature and historical places! The hotel was no less: perfectly clean and preserved, it felt like walking back in time! The birds nest on the balcony with the Seaview was the cherry on top, since they were peacefully flying above us, we were able to observe them from really close! Also the breakfast and dinner buffet was the best ever experienced!

The place and the facilities are historical, is part of the experience, but of course the lights have no use as they take way to much time to glow (?) and there was no air-conditioning but a fan which occupied a lot of the space in room.

Amazing location, I love the privacy of the island, beautiful nature & sea! I loved the hotel; room, & food was also amazing. I am vegetarian and sometimes I struggle with options in Croatia, but here options were great, healthy & tasty! I will definitely come back!

Wi-fi signifcantly improved, great daily cleaning. Breakfast staff was very good. Excellent staff and service at Galia restaurant for dinner!

Great location, very friendly staff specially in restaurant. We had small issues but front desk resolved it very fast in our advantage.

We booked hotel Istra but end up in hotel Neptun. Maybe for the first time ever I didn’t read any reviews, so just when we arrived have realized that Istra in on the right side and Neptun on the left and it’s one facility. Anyway, it was too hot, and we get room on the corner of building so we ask to change room. Then receptionist explain that Neptun is recently renovated and on our request she found room for us. It was such beautiful superior double room with sea view, very spacious, cozy, and we really enjoy it. Didn’t pass so much time inside except for sleep but still. Food in the restaurant was really delicious, luckily, because there are only two restaurants on the island. No shop except souvenirs shop so if you are to cycle or walk to explore island, bear in mind to bring enough big bottles for water, at least 2, after you can refill it with pipe water or you can use boat to buy what you need in Fazana. 1 return ticket daily is included in hotel price.Staff, not only in hotel but everywhere on island is super kind, helpful, and very professional.

Location, clean and spatious room

Food is always poor and nothing has been done about it for years. For a short stay it is ok, you can always choose something to survive, but I cannot imagine staying for more than 3 days on that.

Great location right by the sea, spacious rooms, comfy bed.

Check out is too early (10am). Hotel is a bit outdated, some areas need renovation.

Location. We come to Brijuni everyear despite the terrible outdated facilities and generally subpar staff experience.

Breakfast - one of the worst I have ever had (4 and 5-star hotels) and it is the same every year. Keep in mind I spend >100 days in hotels every year around the globe.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is super cute with this old charm building and furniture, hotel stuff is very kind and helpfull. The food in the hotel is great and everythiny was very clean. And the location of the hotel is perfect, just by the dock, very near the beach and with a great view. We'll come again for sure. ?
