    Pros +

    • Pool looked epic but didn’t have time to use it, decent offer of food for breakfast
    • - The meals (all of them) were varied, additionally with multiple options for vegetarians and kids, featuring really good quality apart from the occasional overcooked fish.- The pool is amazingly big, which, for a hotel this large and especially during the high season, makes total sense.- The hotel has, overall a good "modern" vibe to it and despite being quite full was really quiet at night.- Irrespective of there being a bus shuttle service to the beach, it's a 5-minute car ride, and the Torrealta beach was imply amazing.- The kids enjoyed the kids' club and the people working there were kind and competent.
    • Swimming Pool

    Cons -

    • Food was cold
    • - There needs to be more control in the "all inclusive" paradigm. My family and I were stunned to see people grabbing piles of food, only to leave half of it behind, as if they were scared the hotel would run out of food. Absolutely pathetic. There should therefore be rules whereby if you leave food behind, you pay for its weight.- There was a strict rule of 2 drinks per person max. at the open bar, and it's there for good reason, the queues tended to build up very fast. It was never, ever enforces as far as I could see. I could spot people leaving with 4-5 drinks every single day.- We only ended up using the bus shuttle service once, simply because it's not meant for people doing half-days of beach. There is a big gap at lunch time (12:00 to 13:30) making it either too early or too late.- While the pool is very extensive, the usage of inflatable items and balls was way over the top and ended up using a lot of space. There needs to be a clear separation between 2 areas with only one allowing this.
    • Staff seems overwhelmed, paying to use the gymnasium is not acceptable for a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast was good but the coffee machine was not that good, a Nespresso or other brand is much better.

This hotel was exceptional. The pool and hotel grounds were beautiful and well-kept. Our small kids loved the kiddie pool and the play structure. The food buffets were fantastic, good selection each day - lots of different cuisine to choose from. The all-inclusive drinks were also great, tasty and good selection! The activities and entertainment was also a lot of fun. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. My kids are still raving about it and we stayed there a month ago. This hotel was definitely the highlight of our two-week trip to Portugal!! 10/10 reccommend

The wifi was no existent in the pool area and was unreliable throughout the hotel, not a deal breaker though.

Great location, clean, friendly and professional staff.

The food was great but could use a little more variety. Felt like the food, especially breakfast, was the same every day. Also would have preferred if the children stayed down at their own end of the pool, it's big enough to keep at least one end for adults only.

Really fun lots of space. Good location. Close drive to marina

Indoor pool was over booked so could not use ispite of having to pay. . Weather wasn't great in April. Not hotels fault

The staff is amazing!!!! I can’t wait to come back again at the end of the year. 15 mins walk or 5 min uber ride to the town. While the town is small is has everything! Restaurants, shops, pubs, and the cutest ice cream shops.

The beds are really hard. We came for a soccer tournament from California. The only complaint ever parent and child had was the beds were hard and uncomfortable

    7ChantelPosted on: 1-1-2025

it was nice, clean and welcoming. Most staff are all super friendly and very accommodating. The food was good, not always the best options but you could always count on good fries and beef if nothing else.

The pool closes WAY too early. I should have options to eat at any time of the day for the amount of money I’m paying. This is definitely a family friendly hotel so if you don’t want to be around kids all day, don’t come here.

    6MaxinePosted on: 10-29-2024

Friendly staff. Entertainment focused on family fun.

It’s just too big to feel you’re not part of an industrial experiment. The lights in the hallways are always barely on. Gym was far too small for the amount of guests.

RR Alvor Baía Resort in Alvor is a great place to spend a few days relaxing. The appearance inside and out is impressive. Four large elevators available. Free parking. Large, clean rooms with equipped kitchens. Nice large swimming pool with sun loungers and a bar. In the evening, various entertainment with music for adults and children. There was a show of Portuguese folk dance in folk costumes. Free transport to and from the Alvor beach and the beautiful Praia dos Três Irmãos where you can eat regional dishes looking at the Atlantic Ocean. Good breakfasts and a large selection. Different dishes in the restaurant every day, for us / 8 people / the best was the day of the Algarve region. Delicious different fish in different dishes and Cataplana. We recommend this hotel to everyone, children are not bored there either.

Breakfast was the only hot meal we had.

Food especially dinner everything was cold, the beds in the room where very uncomfortable I suffer with back issues and this didn't help

    8BillyPosted on: 10-20-2024

Very large room . Facilities were good & it’s a 10- 15 minute walk into Alvor. I was out of the hotel most of the time as I was travelling around. If I were going All Inclusive I could not imagine the food been good as the Breakfast was not up to standard.

One of our best vacations, fantastic pool, very nice staff, very good restaurants and bars. 100% recommended, specifically for families. ???

Not a negative point, just good to know that indoors pool and spa were not included in all-includive.

Clean hotel with ok food and nice rooms.

GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT! We booked the hotel for our stay in October because it was promoted as familly hotel and had internal swimingpool which was supposed to be option for kids in case of bas weather. By checking-in we learned that pool can be accesses by kids only 1h a day 6pm-7pm!! (paid extra) Manager told us that nothing can be done about this restriction, because they prioritise adult customers comfort there. hotel is promoted as a familly hotel, but ignore kids? No internal facilities to stay with kids in rainy day. Kids club was closed. Mini disco last 15 min every day. For holidays with kids this hotel should be avoided!Manager advised that we can find another hotel with indoor pool, if we are not satisfied with this conditions and that we can claim booking com for not distributing the indoor swimingpool conditions, while neither hotel official Web site don't mention any kids restrictions at all!prove of the restrictions attached- hotel welcome brochure

Very nice staff, specially at the SPA, which were quick to answer all questions.Great value for money, taking into consideration that the money paid included all the meals + drinks.Good facilities at the spa and poolside

The gym had a reduced number of machines and it was necessary to pay to use it (5€/1 time or 15€/4 times), which seemed a bit excessive taking into consideration the lack of equipment (for instance had 7.5kg and 12.5kg dumbbells but not 10kg).

    8RichPosted on: 10-10-2024

Staff always polite and helpful. Entertainment was good

Food was ok but could have had a better selection.

    10CamillaPosted on: 10-5-2024

Even though it’s a huge hotel there were never any queues for meals or sunbeds … and it’s absolutely spotless

Maybe give a small packed breakfast for those leaving before breakfast we left at 3.30 am eg bottle of water fruit croissant … that would be a nice gesture

    8RobertPosted on: 9-22-2024

Lovely hotel and grounds. Plenty of food choice. Staff very efficient and friendly. Great bus service to beach.

Food not always hot. Entertainment poor. Music to loud, even whilst sitting on balcony. All inclusive drinks poor. Downstairs lounge no atmosphere so not enjoyable to use if not wanting to be outside.
