The furniture looks a little old but the rooms are clean. The breakfast is good with a variety of products including special diets. Private parking was a plus for us.

Great location, super clean and tidy. Great buffet breakfast, the staff super helpfull and nice. Housekeeper was lovely and our room was always fresh. Great hotel!

Just i would like to have coffee and tea facilities in the room. And the shower didn't have enough water pressure.

The position

We stayed at this hotel and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing, especially considering the price of €300 per night. The hotel is extremely old and in urgent need of renovation. In the bathroom we found mold, the trash bin and hardware were rusty, and the overall condition was far below expectations. The bed was made up of two single beds pushed together, leaving a large gap in the middle, which made it impossible for a couple to sleep comfortably. The pillows were very uncomfortable, the duvet didn’t even fit properly in its cover, and both the sheets and towels looked worn out and should be replaced.The hallways were carpeted with stained and dirty rugs, which gave an overall feeling of neglect. Out of the entire staff, only 2–3 people were friendly and helpful; the majority were rather cold and not welcoming at all. Additionally, the bars only opened at 11 AM, which meant there was no possibility to order anything by the pool before that time — a big inconvenience for guests.For the rate charged, these conditions are simply unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel unless major renovations and improvements in service are made.

Approx 10-15min walk into town. No tea/coffee machine in the rooms

The resort was beautiful.

The AC did not work well at all, our room was so hot and the hallways were not air conditioned.

The staff were so accommodating and polite! They were all super baby friendly and it made it so much easier for our first holiday as a family. The breakfast had huge variety. Lots of facilities and the location was right on the beach which was ideal! Would definitely go back here! We rented a car and the car park was ideal in the hotel!

Aircon didn’t seem to cool the room enough and we only went in April so this would be a slight problem for the middle of the summer. This hasn’t really got much to do with the hotel, but the outside pools were too cold to go in April. However, they had a loved inside pool!

The location great not far to town and a flat walk. Gardens were lovely.plenty of sunbeds by the pool or on the lawned area.. Room lovely and clean

Location is 5 minutes by taxi from Alvor centre or 20 minutes via the lovely boardwalk. Quiet location by the sea really adds to the property, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle. Simple hotel, does what it says on the tin and has a bit of everything - Breakfast great, gym simple but good, indoor pool with sauna, outdoor pool with plenty of deck chairs, small kids club also.Hotel was undergoing some routine maintenance as they prepare for summer and this was to be expected.

A little pricey for drink & food with mandatory service charge.

Excellent location for the town

Room especially bathroom was dirty. Some work had been done but not cleaned afterwards. Strong smell of silicone where the bathroom had been fixed. Dirty shoe prints over the flat

Amazing location . Suggesting room with ocean view - rooms from the Street are not having such amazing view.

Bathroom with Window into room ,was possible to close it but strange . In season supposingly to small eating area and swimming pool area . From 4 star hotel shell be more diversity for breakfast . Dinner price in hotel in comparison to nearby restaurant was to high to even try .

Excellent breakfast even including omelets made to order and champagne. Nice indoor pool. Free parking in a controlled lot.

Beachfront location was amazing. Breakfast was great and the room was spotless.We had an amazing view of the ocean and the sound of the waves was awesome

Hotel a bit dated in some areas, carpets on the stairwell were dirty and old. Sunloungers were a bit uncomfortable and covered in bird poo.

Fabulous spot. Lovely people. Lovely food. Really enjoyed the indoor pool.Staff couldn't have been nicer. Warm welcome pastries placed in room minutes before we arrived. Excellent all the way!

Pillows are very “lumpy”, need to be replaced, beds are very hard

Some of the decor needed replacing. Inside of the lifts and carpet on stairs needs looked at.
