Indaba Lodge Hotel Richards Bay

We enjoyed our room, the beds were very comfy. There was always ample parking space for us. The food was very nice - hat off to the staff and chef Lionel for being so nice and hospitable.

There was a bit of a mouldy smell in our room, but the aircon kept the room fresh

Breakfast was too expensive compared to the last time i went there. I guess they have changed the management and too many rules. No micro wave we were told that its faulty i couldn't even warm up my food. We had to ask for toilet paper i think the place is falling apart

I paid full amount for breakfast, but when I ordered an omlet I was told that everything is finished, but late a couple came and and received it

Food and cleaness

The bathroom locker was faulty, it looked me inside at 1 am lucky we had ordered and had fock n knife in our..... The knife helped...and there was no headboard wall was cold

cutlery was dirty and my order was taken incorrectly.waited a long time for my dinner

Appreciated the undercover parking. Check in and out was very easy and staff very friendly. Comfortable beds.

Key cards stop working as soon as you leave the room. Curtains need an urgent wash. Lamp shades are moldy. Shower door broken. We needed to ask for towels. There was a huge issue with other guests and noise and lack of respect from management to sort it out. Needed to complain 6 times!!

Peaceful and the staff is very helpful. The room was comfortable. You can easily spend an entire weekend here without missing home.

The shower was pretty small. Travelled with my 6 year old and felt closed in showering together.

Lodge is clean and has all the facilities

They is no security at the gate.Each room should have a Iron. Did not like the fact that I have to request for it. It quickly request by reception.

The shower is too small, very limited plugs. We had to buy adapter as there is only one space for charging cellphones, no plugs near the bedThe WiFi isn’t easily accessible, we couldn’t connect

The treatment I got nd self service was good

Front desk staff were pleasant

The restaurant and bar staff were rude and always made you feel like they were doing you favor. Every morning, on the outside patio there were plates and glasses left from the night before - I really feel this should have been cleaned up well before guests woke up

Location easy to find

The reception lady could not find the conference keys as my company booked the conference room, it took them more than 30 min to allocate the keys, that delayed our training

Breakfast was good but very limited variety, Some of the fruits were not nice fr a fruit salad

The room was big but the bathroom wasn't up to standard, sheets were stained, was very uncomfortable. the when night

The couches needed some steam cleaning very very urgently. The only thing that drags this place down. I was afraid to sit on it.

Great location

Bedding was discoloured and torn in some places. The room itself was not properly cleaned. General sense of neglect - the way bath towels were placed. Towels were also old and discoloured. Few irons and ironing boards - highly inconvenient - we had to wait a long time to press our clothes.

the pictures online are not the same as the reality, i also thought it was a bed and breakfast but

We requested for tissue and it took an hour for them to bring it and a used roll for that matter

Was bad experience.

The gate is always open , no security at the gate , there was no breakfast but when I paid here on booking.com the breakfast was included but they told me nope … need to pay extra amount than just went somewhere to book a breakfast, will never stay there again .

The environment that is situated in is so peaceful, and it has been always my 1st choice whenever I'm in Richards Bay. I love the tranquility.
