It’s dated - has a musty smell- looks and feels run down Had to re-register room card each time I left and returned - it’s like I was being policed Staff were non chalant and almost dismissive

Room was excellent and very cleanThe service from the staff is amazing and very professionalThe location of the property is right on point for my business use.

The breakfast was not up to standard and expected more especially for business travellersThere needs to be more flexibility with timing of the breakfast

The hotel is undergoing renovations and there for reception was dirty and dusty,smells like paint and rot,would have at least appreciated a heads up

Clean room and bathroom

Hotel could have communicated beforehand that they are busy with upgradings and that dinner and breakfast is not served on property, we did however receive communication upon check in

Renovated hotel rooms. Location

We booked 18 rooms and did not receive value for money.Rooms did not have hot water. The hotel did not mention the ongoing renovations which was a major inconvenience. The service from the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional relating to check in and availability of water. The food selection was also limited in terms of catering for dietary requirements.Really not worth the price we paid per room and will not recommend this property.

I did not enjoy my stay, people were making noise around 6am and the staff were not friendly at all

The place was noisy

Very nice staff, i asked for a favour to come back and take a shower after my marathon, they accommodated me even though it was out of check out time.

Rooms are excellent, comfortable and big. Very clean

The restaurant is old, to hot in there and the food is mediocre

This place is a full on construction site. The side smells damp and everything is old and tattered. The outside and inside have ongoing construction, so you wake up to noise.

Overall look and feel. It needs an upgrade

It was very clean.

I though they would arrange something for my birthday. The room was very small and there was no bar fridge. We received no help with our bags. Limited TV channels. The pool was very small.

Girls at the reception were great fun.

I did not get the room I selected and paid for, I was told someone else occupied the room, though I booked in advance and paid immediately.It was not acceptable and I couldn't do much about it because only the receptionist was there and tried to argue about it but it was a loss on my side.This hotel sold me something else and provided me with another. As a business owner you cannot advertise products you don't have, it's breaking the law, business ethics does not allow this.Please attend this as I've always used booking.com, this is not the first time incident, in Durban I experienced something similar.Thanks.

One waiter wasn't friendly, and looked like an effort for him to smile.Hotel is currently undergoing renovations. Booking.com should've made mention of this on their website

Location

No phone in room. Pest control is needed. Bed not comfortable. There was spiders web on the wall. Aircon not working.

We travelled to Richards Bay as a big group of about 10 and the stay was nothing short of amazing! The staff was friendly and very welcoming, the breakfast every morning was just scrumptious and the rooms and room service was great!

We unfortunately came when the pool wasn’t as clean but next time hopefully we will get a chance to go in for a dip at the pool

The staff was friendly and helpful

The fact that it was not disclosed on the advert that the place is under construction. There was a cockroach in my room, they moved me to another room and there was no fridge there.

The food and staff ??also the cleanliness

The parking where we park our cars,there was that thing from the trees just messing the cars in the bad way

The property was under construction. No prior warnings for this.

Nothing at all - perhaps the price of the room maybe considered a consolation given the high peak season.

Firstly, the facility was not reported as under huge renovations and therefore it was a huge shock to discover it was a construction site. The level of the noise from both the guests and hotel staff was intolerable going into the small hours of the night and very early in the morning.
