Motel 6 Amherst, NY - Buffalo

Location and price

No mini fridges in the room which makes it impossible to store left overs. The floors needed to be vacuumed before our arrival.

First room had hair in the sink, toilet and bath tub. Went down to let the front desk know and he said all the rooms were booked. He then found a room and asked if we wanted to see it. That one had hair in the bathroom as well as some kind of bug.

Easy check in and very professional. Decent price

Location close to many restaurants and stores

Worst hotel we ever stayed in: light in bathroom kept going out; toilet seat broken; ; fake wood floor in bathroom buckling; no blankets, shampoo, no coffee, no fridge no microwave; not even a closet! All this for $--- a night!! Eclipse price gauging

Extreme noise from other occupants. Screaming past midnight. Though hotel is now completely nonsmoking, it previously was not, and the entire facility still reeks of decades heavy smoking. Carpeting, walls just saturated with stale smoke smell.

This was by far one of the worst hotel stays. The rooms were not great, burn holes in bed, table looked like it had been burned on the edges. The noise at night was absolutely horrible! Banging doors and people arguing in the hallways at 5 am

there was no micro, no fridge no breakfast room in need of major update musty oder it was a joke based on what i paid for the room. only reason we remained was we were on limited time and no time to waste trying to resettle

The shower was hot

The heater didn't work so the room was cold the phone didn't work to call front desk and they didn't have covers just sheets on the bed

The front desk staff were kind and helpful. Room was acceptable for the price.

The room has zero amenities... no mini fridge or microwave. The room also had significant wear and tear- the wall had cracks and the bathroom floor seemed warped from water. Overall though, for the price, the room was acceptable.

The tap water needs to improve. I could not even wash my face. I had to turn on the shower just to wash my face in the morning. Also need better coffee

I did not like nothing about this hotel

review your staff. The desk attendant was very rude. When we were checking in he was telling us no smoking and tomorrow you have to check out at 11 am if you stay 1 min after 11 am you will not get back your deposit($100). He repeated many time.

the bed and pillow were excellent! The people were friendly.

the wi-fi was awful, it would log out every couple of minutes. I always could get it back, but it was a hassle.

Staff was hard to get a hold of. WiFi did not work.

My security change was broken(looked as if door had been kicked in),missing smoke detector, children running in hallways at midnite,missing lamp shade, no comforter. BEWARE OF ROOM 219

Maybe it was the website, but when I checked on pics & descr of the room online, there was a refrigerator. A problem when arriving from MI with 2 coolers expecting a fridge & none there. 1 person on staff Sun night, had to wait 15 min to have key redone.

Room was clean and staff was very courteous and efficient. Good location if you are staying in the Amherst area (1/2 way between Niagara Falls and Buffalo) and shopping locally.

The room was somewhat bare bones with no internet (although this was an option for an extra small fee), no breakfast, no coffee maker, mini fridge, hair dryer, etc. but otherwise very functional.

There was nothing good about the room. The A/c was so loud that every time it started we woke up. We were 3 families and all had the same experience.

Had to wait for 1hr to get our rooms(with kids).Got smoking rooms even when we did not book smoking, could'nt sleep at all.Rooms were not cleaned.A/c was very loud.No hot water.Smelled very bad in the motel.Could'nt get hold of the manager even next day.
