    • You only get there by sea plane
    • First of all i want to tell that its not my first stay on Maldives and i can compare my stay with same level of hotels and etc. Well it was very disappointed experience this time and im sad about stay. From the first day me and my husband start to have very strong allergy from the beach sea, we all was red and itchy( i post the pic) its was so annoying and when we visit their doctor in the island, he confirm that allergy from planktons on the beach side( he tell that we are not first ) and give medicine to us. So if you already have that experience with guests you should tell in advance that they can have something in the sea(( its never happens with me in my previous stay in any hotels on Maldives:( Secondary we book all inclusive but its not all inclusive at all ! Hotel have restaurants only Ala Carte system , so you only can order by menu and only one dish for person(!) so if you dont like main course you cant order another ,you should wait till dinner(!). They dont have option with buffet :( We very boring for one week because all 7 days menu in restaurants not change (Also in every lunch or dinner menu first page with the most attractive dishes is chargable even for all inclusive (!) im sorry but its very bad! Its not all inclusive!Third, i was feel shock when we arrive that mini bar is chargable(!) you book the maximum all inclusive premium and you can drink only water or tea( !) other hotels always provide all inclusive drinks even snacks in mini bar like sneakers chips( but not here! All is chargable!Hotel not give any free excursions for example to dolphin ( all hotel same level do that) , also like in many hotels same level have a complimentary 1 hour massage, here its funny 10 min free)))
    • Lots of russians, menu proposed is in russian, there are russian songs played and those botox-filled russo-ladies laughing, enjoying the life ultra loud. Nobody was that loud as any russian there. And besides of that they are openly discussion "governmental contracts", bribes and etc. This was nuts. And this is all during third year of full-scale war. In Overwater villa literally no space to store luggage, clothes and etc. So everything is laying everywhere and every day feels a bit like fighting a small mess you trying to avoid but still end up doing. Situation is better in beach villa, where you have literally all the space needed to put your stuff. We had also weird smell in our overwater villa, for me it's like really toxic. We found out it was a wood + glue + fungus on the villa terrace. It happens, was handled ok by the staff. Some of the food options / drinks are not in the breakfast menu / you don't know about them. For example fresh sliced mango or papaya. We found out randomly. Same with matcha. It's not a big deal, but why it's like that?

It's a good resort with lots of green, good gym and amazin staff that cares about you. There are 3 main dining options: Yumi cafe + Lighthouse + Fish market. Last 2 are reservations and for dinner only. For brunch / afternoon you have 2 very good options: near Yumi cafee and the Retreat. Nice chill atmosphere and good vibe there. You are provided with 2 bicycles that are super comfortable to move around the island. Took manta-ray excursion and it was amazing! I had my birthday there and it was really nice present from the hotel, management and people working there. Really service is supr good here!Snorkling area also good, but I've seen 3 time shark like meter and a half long, not super comfortable for me to swim around those :D But so far no incident.

The people, the location, the view, the food, the smiles, the cocktails, the wine list, the beach and the lagoon.

We liked everything about this hotel. The food was really delicious. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The services are just superb. We stayed 5 days and it was not enough, honestly. I wish we had stayed more days but we will definitely come again. Our curator “Ayman” is super friendly and very helpful to us.

The resort has its timing which is different from the official Maldivian timing, and that made some things confusing. We had to think twice about the time, especially for reservations and activities. Also, the TV in our villa was too bright and it really bothered our vision when we wanted to watch TV during the night before sleep and we were not able to calibrate it or play with the settings to lower the brightness. Lastly, I am really hesitant to mention this but I believe I should because certain people should learn how to deal with guests and not to bale guests or engage in arguments with guests.I had an argument during my stay with the ocean sport recreational center regarding a piece that broke out from the stand-up paddleboard. We borrowed the board and never realized that the fin had been broken and removed from the puddle board. They immediately blamed us and wanted to charge us for something we didn't do. The waves were strong and pushed us all the way to the coast. I wasn’t informed that the fin was broken and I never knew about it. I explained to them (I mean the ocean sports center) that we were not aware of this, and what happened to the board was beyond our control. We didn’t know about this piece “fin” and we certainly didn’t break it on purpose. This was all due to wear and tear and it might have been somewhat broken before we used it. The piece cost like $40 but I refused to pay or sign an invoice because I almost spent $10,000 for my stay including the seaplane, so I shouldn’t be charged with something like this. They let it go anyway but I didn’t like how they treated me with this. Again I’m talking here about the ocean sports center. It

fantastic concept with moving inside the island on bicycles- kids loved it!Maria is an excellent employee, her attitude to the guest is fantastic, very thankful to her!

from 3 main restaurants I would name a lighthouse the most tasty, the other offered very basic levels of cooking

    10UnknownPosted on: 2-17-2022

Truly everything. The villa was new and clean. Breakfast was amazing. The assistant was very responsive and willing to help. There was a feeling of privacy- we didn’t notice other guests at all. I liked the diving centre as well. The seaplanes were thoughtfully organized by the hotel, the trip wasn’t hectic at all.The food is fine. Surprisingly good lamb! I was also astonished by the fact a hotel allowed some people to take several boxes of food away from breakfast! funny . The prices for f&b are reasonable .

The stairs of the water villa are quite slippery.

We are a couple and we stayed in a one-bedroom lagoon villa. To sum up our experience, this is an all around 5-star resort, so you get whatever you might expect from a 5-star resort and even more. Villas are exceptional. A variety of high quality food options are included in the rate. Views and surrounding nature are amazing. To top it all, you get an excellent service from everyone in the resort, from management to staff. I would like to especially thank our curator (Irakli) for his attentive service. He made sure that the two adjacent villas are vacant, so we could enjoy the private swimming pool, as it is visible to some degree from the adjacent villas. Fro the best privacy and quietness, choose your villa on the east side of the island (sunrise side), as the boat traffic is almost nonexistent on that side. That side also has the best privacy from within the island, although as we mentioned, it is not complete privacy.

The unpredictability of seaplane transportation between Male and the island when the weather is not clear, but that is understandable.

The villa was spacious and clean. Everything since we arrived was well organized for us.
