The Motel owners were a husband and wife team. The husband was nice but the wife was rude and immediately abrasive, cutting me off repeatedly. The room said no smoking, but reeked of stale cigarettes. The walls were dirty, and bathroom was as well.

The room was new. The location was perfect. The room was big and very clean with one exception. I found dental floss stuck to the shower wall. So I don?t think the shower was cleaned after the last person. However, it?s still was clean except for that.

It is a charming location with the old west feel The staff was friendly and the bed super comfy. We arrived late and left first thing in the morning so it served as a quick place to stay. We didn¿t explore the property too much.

Close enough to Joshua Tree but I'm sure there are closer, better hotels you could book instead. Next time, we will choose another hotel.

Comfortable bed and pillows, very clean. Grounds were just beautiful with rose bushes everywhere. Pool is very nice. Shutters on the widows keep the room dark at night. Very good value.
