The Buffet was sensational, every meal...breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach was clean and beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bar area with live entertainment was very inviting.

The choices available at the Aqua Restaurant were very limited. Would have like more choice.

Komandoo is a beautiful island with wonderful Champions looking after your every need. The buffet breakfast and dinner is everything you would want and more. The choice of food is excellent and caters for all tastes. All the food is freshly prepared to a very high standard.

There is nothing negative to say about Komandoo.

Komandoo is the best destination for honeymooners that you can imagine. Boutique, tinny, romantic, adult-only island to walk barefoot, bunch of activities to do, so you won't get bored, beautiful house reef and delicious food. Everyone from the crew is happy and always smiling, I'd rate service 12/10. The crew is very personal and talkative. My wife's curling iron stopped working, I asked our host if there was any way to organize another one, and they sent someone to the opposite island to buy it for us. We have visited 40 countries and normally are not considering coming back to the same places, but for this resort we will make the exception. See you soon Komandoo!

You could hear the music from the opposite island late at night but there is nothing that Komandoo can do with that. However, in our 7-days stay it happened once.

Everything was tastefully done, from the rooms, food & activities. Staff were so friendly, and we met most of the managers as they moved around checking that the staff and guests were all happy. The food was an absolute dining pleasure, 3 times a day, and a varied, beautiful spread every time - perfect! All the staff were attentive and polite.Thanks Biji from the bar for helping us try new things.Housekeeping were efficient, Hassim was a ninja. Special thanks to Adhil & Niru, in the front office, who helped us with a family emergency.We had to leave 2 days early, but aim to return, it was just so beautiful.

Too short a stay!

Excellent romantic getaway. Quite peaceful and totally relaxing. However I would have enjoyed an occasional entertainment of some sort. All in all quite good

Food selection was really ok, not amazing.

Staff, layout, reef, fish, seaplane journey, hearing distant call to prayer on breeze, sunset, proximity of doctor, absence of motor sport, flexibility of snorkelling instructors, occasional bird life, attitude to environment. A basic cabin on sunset side with view to distant inhabited island suited us well.

Making it clear you could ask for an introduction to snorkelling and the reef on arrival even if not on schedule.

The staff were the highlight of the trip, apart from the beautiful villas and pristine beaches.From the moment we arrive to the moment we departed, the staff were all superb and provided excellent service throughout.The other thing we liked about the resort was that it felt very private and everyone was no stranger to each other, guest and staff alike.

Everything was perfect. This was our first time in Maldives and not the last for sure. Beautiful island ?️ and people. Everyone was very nice and friendly, food was good. We had a lot of activities there. There are a lot of reefs there and it’s perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. We liked that it’s a small island and you can relax. Every night they had different entertainment in the bar and live music also. On the New Year’s night we had the best gala dinner, so much different food ???????????

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were fantastic. Lots of daily activities to do. Check the schedule beforehand to see what interests you. Staff are absolutely amazing and cater to your needs. Lots of marine life in the ocean; great for snorkelling - again, make sure to bring your equipment. Adult only island; and no shoes!

Schedule and explanation of activities should have been provided to guests before their arrival so excursions could be planned out.

Our stay at Komandoo was beyond everything we could've hoped for with our first visit to the Maldives. We stayed in a water villa and enjoyed every minute of our time on this perfect little island. The villas were amazing, staff was extremely friendly and helpful every step of the way, the food was always delicious and we even got scuba certified over our stay at the dive center. Can't recommend enough!

Seriously can't think of anything

Everything was magnificent! From the day we arrived all champions were absolutely wonderful until our last day. All staff are very helpful, happy and amazing. Our very own housekeeping Rasheed, outstanding waiter Kaleem and the lady in the reception (Harishna, i keep forgetting her name sorry!) made our stay as good as possible! Its the best honeymoon ever! Thank you!

Excellent service, everyone was friendly

Make sure u take tips with you they don't have much cash at the resort. Recommended $10 -20 a week tips in US. 5.8 restaurant was very expensive and not worth it, Aqua a so much better and excellent food.

Everything surpassed expectations

The staff was of top notch service. We went here for our honeymoon and it truly was a dream come true. The food was exceptional and we got lucky to have sunshine every day at our water villa in August.

My recent stay at Komandoo Island Resort was nothing short of a blissful escape to paradise. While I have visited other resorts in the Maldives with superior beaches, food, and rooms, it was the exceptional hospitality and enchanting experiences that truly won me over. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with genuine warmth and treated like cherished guests. The staff at Komandoo went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, and their unwavering dedication made us feel like part of their extended family. Their kindness and attentiveness added an extra layer of magic to our stay.The absolute highlight of our trip was the stunning house reef located just steps away from our beach villa. We saw an abundance of marine life, including sharks, turtles, stingrays, and a myriad of colorful fish. It was truly a magical experience to be able to explore the underwater world right at our doorstep. In the evenings, we were delighted by the presence of nurse sharks near the Aqua restaurant.The restaurant staff and the head chef deserve special recognition for their exceptional service and culinary talents. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. While it is worth mentioning that the food options were somewhat limited during the low season, it is completely understandable and commendable that the resort takes steps to reduce food waste. Despite the fewer choices, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals served.Furthermore, I highly recommend staying on the sunrise side of the resort. The water on the sunrise side of the resort was noticeably calmer compared to the sunset side.While the resort may not boast the absolute best beaches in the Maldives, it is the unparalleled hospitality and the experiences it offers that make it a place worth returning to.
