A lot of extras, even after charging luxury rates, one still has to pay extra for padel courts and such. Also festive season rates don’t include events which is strange

The villa was great. The staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet had a diverse menu. The beach and snorkeling experience was quite a great experience.

I would have appreciated to have gotten an all-inclusive package where I don't have to pay for everything I order and avail of snorkeling and diving experiences that are included in the package.

We spent an unforgettable 10 days at Dusit Thani Maldives, and every moment on the island was a blend of natural beauty, thoughtful luxury, and heartfelt hospitality.We had the chance to stay in three types of villas—Beach Villa, Overwater Villa, and Ocean Villa—and each offered a different but equally wonderful experience. The Beach Villa gave us direct access to the soft sand and calm lagoon, surrounded by lush vegetation. The Overwater Villa was serene and luxurious, perched above the turquoise waters with steps leading into the sea. One detail that stood out was the Diptyque amenities in the bathroom—beautifully scented and of exceptional quality. The Ocean Villa, with its sweeping views and total privacy, was the perfect way to end our stay.The island itself feels like a true paradise—natural, peaceful, and full of trees that offer welcome shade throughout the day. It’s a quiet, low-key environment, perfect for relaxing, and the resort-provided bicycles make exploring effortless and enjoyable. The house reef just off the beach is full of life and ideal for daily snorkeling.A true highlight of our trip was the excursion to Hanifaru Bay, where we were lucky enough to swim with dozens of manta rays in their natural habitat. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience—graceful, awe-inspiring, and deeply moving. We’re so happy we had the opportunity to witness it.Another highlight was the time we spent at the Devarana Spa. The yoga classes—especially hot yoga followed by a cold plunge bath—were extraordinary. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sound bowl meditation, which brought a deep sense of calm. The spa is truly a sanctuary and an experience not to be missed.The food at Dusit Thani was consistently excellent across all restaurants. Whether enjoying a beachfront lunch or a more formal dinner, the quality, freshness, and variety of dishes stood out.

This is an amazing little island. The quality of wildlife is outstanding. It has a natural beauty and well worth a visit. The villas are well maintained along with many of the facilities. A beautiful place indeed

Everything about this resort was exceptional. We absolutely loved it! We went with our 8 month old baby and the staff could not have done more for us, they were so accommodating with everything. Even offering to make fresh purees for him. Just wonderful

Dusit Thani was a real treat, and was the perfect tonic after an intense 12 months of work. Snorkelling at the UNESCO biosphere reserve was a true highlight. Shout out to the staff who were all wonderful, especially the footballers at the market. Great to see the organised soccer matches for staff at nightfall - makes you think that staff are well looked after which contributes positively to the overall experience.It was also nice to see John the General Manager getting around the tables at dinner time to speak to the residents - it was a nice personal touch. Accommodation, food, the amenities - all amazing, and cycling around the island turned out to be a whole lot of fun.We will return!

The facility at Dusit Thani Maldives is exceptional, second to none! The waters are clean and pristine with excellent snorkeling and water sports. The dining far exceeded our expectations with many seafood and vegetarian choices. The chefs are all 5 star. From the housekeeping staff to the butler service to the waiter staff this establishment is the best we have ever seen.

Perfect organization, from landing at Male airport till accommodation in Dusit Thani ! We chose transfer with Seaplane. The hotel has a lounge with snacks and refreshments drinks / free of charge/ you can use before departing with the seaplane. The flight is 35 minutes till the island.Great and very green Island. The staff is amazing and hospitality. The food is delicious, specially at the seagrill restaurant. Our butler Saeed was very kindly and helpful. You don’t need for anything, just relax.

The island is small but has everything needed for a perfect holiday. There are beach front villas and over-the-water villas, each with direct access to the sea, offering snorkelling possibility direct from your terrace. Also villas with access to the beach as well as villas with their own little garden yard. The villas are in beautiful Thai design with high wooden ceilings and completely furnished with all modern amenities. It's sparkling clean and everything looks newly-built.A butler takes care of all your needs - booking restaurant or activity, answering any questions, you name it. 4 restaurants cater for all tastes - European, Asian, vegetarian and local cuisines. A beach bar with an infinity pool overlooking the sea. A diving centre offers a great variety of over- and under water activities. 24/7 sports centre. Creche.A picturesque path amid the vegetation and the palm trees connects all facilities.The island is surrounded by a very shallow water ring, rich of reef life - corals, fish of all kinds, small sharks, sea stars, octopuses, sting rays and many more. A snorkelling paradise. The sea was calm as a lake, with pleasantly warm water. The air temperature is constant during day and night, no typical continental min/max daily temperatures.The most impressive feature is the staff. Always smiling and happy to maintain a personal contact with the tourists, ready to go out of their way to accommodate your comfort, even without being asked for it. We felt we they made sure we didn't have the slightest discomfort at any time. Our butler would come every evening to see us in person and make sure we have had a great day.We went to several organised trips and saw from very close range mantas, sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, sting rays. The resort is suitable for all kinds of tourists - romantic couples, Instagram vloggers, families with children, companies of friends, seniors, etc.

It is not cheap. But what one gets for one's money is definitely worth it.

The size of the resort is medium and suitable to walk and enjoy bicycles . Not small, and not that big

Quiet and clean island with lot of green area and picturesque sites. Good courteous staff. Lots of activities to undertake.

It was very far from Male and we had to take a sea plane ride back and forth for which we were not advised the cost in advance. We ended up paying USD 550 per person extra for this commute totalling USD 1100 which was a surprise. Booking.com also did not specify this additional cost upfront.

It has been a week since we've come back from paradise on Earth. The beauty of the Maldives cannot be described, but the amazing experience of staying at Dusit Thani Maldives, which was simply perfect, can.To be perfectly honest, almost everything exceeded my (very high) expectation. The resort is a beautiful jungle/garden and cycling through it is a pleasure for all the senses (especially in the evenings, whenyou can smell frangipani). We have stayed in one of the ocean villas. The views were simply stunning. The villa was very spacious and cosy, and even though the furniture is not brand new, it is full of drama. Plus, they have the most comfortable pillows my head had ever touched.The big highight-and what convinced us to stay in the resort-is the Thai restaurant Benjarong with it amazing chef and staff-we were usually attended by Novika (foodie as myself, so she could provide great recommendation) and James, who was also super nice and attentive. After having dinner at Benjarong the first night, we booked all of our meals there (with the exception for the night of Eid celebration, when we dinedon the beach with live local music and dancing-thanks Sharif. I especial recommend the soft shell crab with curry - powder, the lamb chops, and my favourite dish in the universe-the Thai green curry. My husband fell in love with the dessert with water chestnuts and ended up eating it twice a day ? (and of course I ended up taking the Thai cooking class).Another highlight for the foodies was breakfast. while the choices of "western" food, pastries is impressive, my very favourite (and I had it every single day) was the noodles station. Also, make sure you try the passion fruit jam which is to die for. You can always ask Mona (yet another, cheerful foodie) for recommendations.Moving from the food... Above the Thai 'restaurant is the Sata bar. My husband took the cocktail making class there and we met a very gifted bar attender Amita.

If I could give any advice for the resort it would be to make sure that there is a coral reef-friendly sunscreen in the store (we run out of two bottles we brought with us). Maybe it could be a good idea to ask the future guests (in the confirmation email or so) to bring the coral reef friendly sunscreen. It seems a little thing to do,but if it can help protecting this amazing place, I think It will be worth it. Oh, and please provide combs for after the SPA treatment

The foods was not so good for me and my wifeit was very expensive around $200 per 2adults which was a room Rate in some nearby resort (Royal islands ) with a full buffet breakfast launch and dinner.

Great experience very kind friendly and helpful staff that’s make our stay excellent specially Mr.Muhey. Facility are great and there’s a lot of activities provided by the resort.
