Excelent hotel !! We had the best vacactions, staff is super friendly, villas are incredibly comfortable and nice! Food is really good, the island itself is paradise. Would like to come back for sure. They are full of nice details and surprises! Completely loved it!!!!!!!

Great diving center and Camille the manager of the diving center will disclosed the best diving spot you cannot imagine ! Diving with manta rays or sharks ! really amazing !

The place felt small, with limited activities available. As for the beach, the numerous rocks at the bottom made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience.Additionally, the buffet had a limited selection of options.

My wife and I stayed in a sunset over the water bungalow.It was well appointed. Truly beautiful!Everything was top notch from the service of our personal concierge (Yoonus) to the delicious food served in the bars and restaurants.The staff catered to our personal needs.I could see that they wanted our experience to be wonderful during our stay.We did book the dolphin cruise, which did not disappoint and the all day couples spa experience to spoil ourselves on our last full day.We left thoroughly relaxed and stress free.A special thank you to again Yoonus (we loved his humor) and also to our yoga/meditation coachJessica.The restaurant and bar staff were also so polite and remembered things about us.The team at the spa were also wonderful.Jessica was our beach yoga and meditation tutor.She is so kind and sweet and taught us how to let ho of our tensions.have recommended this resort to our friends.All in all it was true paradise!!!Thank you Alila Kothaifaru

My wife's only negative was that the "library" did not have any good fictional reading material in english.

I loved the privacy in the beach villas. The outdoor restroom and shower with the rain added to the scene. I fihnd it exceptional. The sandbank dining was the best experience I had. I enjoyed swimming their also. The hotel staff were all helpful and smiling. They also made sure we had a joyful and comfortable stay. We say the property manager many times and he always made sure that we are enjoying our stay.

The cons for me is that there are lots of mosquitos even the restort tries to control it. But I guess it is part of the scene so we have to live with it. I wish that they buitl indoor bathrooms and kept the outdoor ones as a optional bonus. I found that the food was a bit expensive compared to the portion and quality. The quality was good but not for the price.

Lack of privacy when the leaves cleaner comes to the bedroom window unannounced 2 days in a row!

Everything was good in this trip, but there was no bicycle to move around, activity is limited not many as other islands, wish if they look at this very soon

Amazing beaches, perfect sea, friendly staff and nice, big rooms.

So limited menu. Only 2 restaurants and just few options. After one week we didn't know what to eat, still the same. Access from ocean villa to the sea is not good and a little dangerous. And last is value for money... food is limited and too expensive. Even food in NYC was cheaper than food at Alila.

Sunset villa was noisy in the evenings when trying to sleep with waves breaking underneath the villa

the butler Alla gets things done and always available. restaurant manager did make changes after I gave him feedback.

the level of service and the whole experience isn’t great. No experience people or trained at leastthe butler and sea salt restaurant manager were the only one with experience. had few sad accidents there and golf cars accidents. everything moved on like nothing happened. I had so much better experiences where there were the actual Maldives hospitality in different islands. it’s just shame that Alila is part of Hayat and operating in pre opening mode! beaches are full of rocks and not clean too!

We were greeted upon arrival to the island with a lovely welcome drink. Our private butler then gave us a tour of the island on his golf cart. The check-in process was very smooth and done at our over water villa which was very convenient since we did not need to go to reception to check in. We loved that the resort was brand new and our sunrise water villa room was modern and very well equipped. The restaurant staff, the support staff and our butler Niyaz were super friendly and ready to ensure that we had a fabulous stay at the resort. We enjoyed the lavish breakfast buffet as well as dinner at both restaurants at the resort. The entire resort also felt very private and aside from the restaurant, we saw very few other guests while enjoying the beach or snorkeling.The only one negative is that the coral reefs for snorkeling are not fully developed as yet given that that resort is so new. To get great snorkeling, you need to hire a private boat to go further out from the resort.

The property is super modern.

Already at the arrival at Male-Airport we had an assistant from the resort for Seaplane check in and transfer. Private lounge. Extremly stylish Resort with execptional bungalows, a lot of privacy with private pool. Butlerservice, Extremly friendly staff and manager, helpfull in every respect.Lovley almost private dive-center. Large diving-boat, everything was provided and ready to use.

Maledives are known to be expensive, but food and drinks were extremly expensive. Expect for a soup 25$, for a side dish or dessert 25$ and for a simple main course, such as fish curry with rice, 50$....

Alila has been the best experience of our life. I must thanks to all staff with your welcome after landing on the seaplane but especially to Mal and Imad because they have given us a wonderful stay. They have been helping us all the time, giving us attendance and giving us the best holidays of our lives and a wonderful honeymoon. Villa Lagoogn Water is the best option, with your private pool and the amazing views of the sea. We will repeat as soon as possible.

The modern style of exterior and interior; It feels different than any other similar resorts. The place is based on modern designs in terms of room furniture and layout. There were fresh fruits and bites/snacks in our room everyday. The food served in the restaurants was delicious and the chef was very considerate and flexible when we asked for customized order.

Transportation was limited to golf buggy, yet the response time was very efficient. I would recommend introducing bicycle.
