- Our 2nd times stayed there we love the place and location and we are planning to go back again in summer.
- I did not get a chance to eat the breakfast due to our other planned activities, but it looked very good and very fresh! We did have dinner there, and it was very very delicious and a great atmosphere. Be sure to make a reservation because they get packed!
- Everything there! We stayed with our two kids taking the big house with a private bathroom, so it was very comfortable, The hosts are very welcoming, they are an adorable couple who were very friendly and ready to guide us and made of our stay a wonderful experience, The place is a bit far from downtown so you have to plan to get a taxi, we came from Stockholm by train and to Mora station and from there we were able to get a taxi that took us to the camp. The next day we visited Santa land and it was easy to return to the camp by local bus, you should walk a bit but it was worth We loved the landscape, the comfortable house, it was easy to order food through the app and the house host was incredible with us. I recommend staying there during winter as we did
Cons -
- Feeling like viking I would say which is I like it.
- Coming from the USA, it was a little different for us not having a shower in the cabin. However, the shower house was beautiful and clean and easy to use. Plenty of hot water to take a shower! Also, there is no AC in the cabins, but I am told that is normal for Sweden.
- no food store near by. had to drive 3 km to Willy’s. bit expensive compared to the location.

very clean and cozy. very homely
no food store near by. had to drive 3 km to Willy’s. bit expensive compared to the location.
Good location, decent cottage with good amenities.
The location was a bit too inside from the highway. The roads leading to the cottage were not properly maintained for winter conditions and were slippery
Good location
Bunk beds were too noisy (squeaky). Many flies and mosquitoes.
I could leave my backpack before and after check-in / check-out, so I could visit more comfortably. The service building, with kitchen, toilets and showers, is clean, tidy and fresh (new). There is seating space for eating attached to the kitchen. Excellent wifi everywhere. I was in one of the little cabins for non-vehicle guests - it was good enougb for what I needed :-)
If you don't have a vehicle (my case), it's 3,5km from Mora station. I walked back and forth, when you have your backpack on it's a bit long... Kitchen is mainly for campers to wash their cars' / campers' dishes.
Great cabin with a kitchette and bath room
Difficult to find showers and laundry
Cozy place, next to a fantastic lake beach. Good facilities.
There was no a place to wash the hands into the cabin.
The cottage was spacious and well equipped. There is a bus station close by (15 minute walk). The camping site is on the edge of the town. We saw red deer a couple of times.
The camping is very close to the lake Siljan. The property was well kept.
It would have been nice to have a ladder for the bunk bed and protection from falling down, so our smaller child (6y) could have slept on the upper part as well.
Friendly staff, good food, nice rooms nd close to beach and facilities. Toilet and showers
Squeaky beds.
Nice beach for swimming, good restaurant, new clean and comfortable cottage. Quiet and peaceful. Good beds.
Great and friendly owner lady. She upgraded us without us even asking. And for the same price. Cute cabins and good eye for detail. Would definitely come back.
The walls are a bit thin, in the „bigger“ cabins.
We got better accomodation than we booked, well equiped, very nice personel, nice environment.
Nice location for coming with family or friends to spend time next to the lake. Cozy houses and a nice place. quiet from separate noizes but houses located very close to each other.
The house where I was staying was made with 3 rooms and kitchen in the bottom. I had to leave the place early morning and I had kids from the room on side and under. There according to police I had to vacum the room it was kinda hard to do, to not wake up everyone
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice, clean rooms, lovely location. Beach was nearby as well as Mora center
Really peaceful area, and had a quiet night. Stayed in a cottage with our own private toilet. These were the best shower facilities I've seen at a campground, they were very clean and nicely maintained. Had no problems with the WiFi service.
Beach is lovely but there were geese poop everywhere, be careful where you step!
