Hotel Thanh Mai

We have been in Vietnam multiple times. And this time for 3 weeks. And this place hands down is the best place we have stayed. It is incredible. Welcoming and helpful staff. Secure underground parking. Clean spacious interior. The room was amazing, clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and lovely. Breakfast was great and served up all the regular Vietnamese foods you might want. My favorite part of all was the rooftop. It was awesome. Billiards and game room, full rock climbing wall, infinity pool, sauna and steam rooms( although we didnt get to use the sauna area so don't know if they work) and lastly a lovely rooftop cocktail bar to watch the sunset.

Modern, clean, lovely staff. Complementary Mid afternoon snacks was a very nice touch. Delicious breakfast.

Whilst satisfactory, the gym equipment was very basic.

Breakfast was very good and consistent. My girlfriend really appreciated the parking.

First room had lots of construction noise which started at 7am and would go all day.

clean room, reasonable breakfast choices. There is an afternoon tea for guests. Pool on rooftop. A small local market nearby offering local snacks and fruits.

Opposite a Karaoke bar. Eateries on this hotel's street are not great. Better choices are available in other areas (try Hải Sản Thịnh, Quán Ba Tui).Not a lot of tour choices offered by staff. Bathroom: shower hand located very high on the wall and is not removable. Dark bathroom.

We appreciated being located in the heart of the city, not far from restaurants and some sites to visit.

Staff speak ENGLISH and behave very good.

B.Fast very simple / location too far from Center

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was amazing, near the market and nearby restaurants. All the towels and pillows smelled nice. Clean, affordable, great staff, extensive breakfast.

The swimming pool looked like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. The water seemed dirty. Breakfast was ok but some of the food were brought from the day before, not fresh. I know because we stayed here for a week. The location was great, however there is a dancing school opposite our balcony which made it so noisy and annoying.

Great location! There were 2 single beds in the room we booked with Booking.com that said 2 double beds (???) Showering in the bathtub does not drain well. The bathroom is really a mess after a shower.

Amazing rooms, the bed was supper huge and I love that. Bathrooms were nice with glass wall to the room. Staff supper professional and friendly.

The fitness was rusty and not working properly, sauna was not in great condition. No nonalcoholic options at the pool bar. Its a pity for such an amazing hotel to keep their pool/gym/bar floor in low condition.

Convenient location for me. Closed by many local foods eateries. Clean room.Tea time 3-5pm, but there's no more refill after the fruits or juice run out. So its kind of first come first served tea time.

The rooftop bar is very noisy during period 7pm-9pm. Can't not be relax.

This hotel offers fantastic value for the price. Clean rooms, great Vietnamese breakfast and lunch, very polite and efficcient staff, comfy bed, nice quaint neighborhood and not far fron city center. I loved it.

The neughborhood can be a little noisy, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The rooftop area was very nice. The location of the hotel was great- walking distance to the coffee museum and many restaurants. The staff were lovely. When we asked to do washing they advised us it would be expensive at the hotel and directed us somewhere cheaper (next door). We really appreciated this.

Our room didn’t have a window. This didn’t bother us, but good to know when booking. The pool was very cold, so we didn’t use it. The breakfast was only okay- some of the food felt old.

There is too much noise coming from the hallway. People are walking around during late evening/night and talking. Carpets should be installed. It will improve the noise level.

Nice centrally located Hotel. Breakfast was good. Big pool. Guarded parking garage for scooters in the back. Room was clean. Our room had windows and I definitely recommend choosing that.

No safe in the hotel room, but valuables can be stored at the reception. Receptionist speaks very limited English.

The buffet breakfast was good with a wide range of choices. The breakfast room is large and comfortable and the quality of the food is good.

The hotel is relatively new and in excellent condition. Conveniently located, the hotel offers a satisfying breakfast buffet and complimentary fitness facilities. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities.The room features a window overlooking an atrium, providing good ventilation without a view.The hotel provides VAT invoice upon request.

They should learn how to keep customers not only money

I booked a large room which was quite expensive. Normally people wouldn’t book this type of room for 2 people. But they were very inflexible with checking in a few hours early and asked me to pay half price to get in earlier. I had an early morning flight and just wanted to sleep a little more. I was willing to pay a little extra but not half price and they were not willing to negotiate.

Great Location, very helpful valet, Nice swimming Pool, Game Room, Sauna

The staff were excellent especially Vinh and Nga… their English was excellent and nothing was a problem for them to do .I stayed a total of 24 days in which I booked only in 3 day blocks as I was unsure of my itinerary.

I felt a bit sorry for the cleaning staff as the design of the bath/shower was pretty ordinary. Water covered the bathroom floor every shower ?‍♂️
