The rooms were spacious

The food was mediocre. The hotel didn't deliver quality in terms of cleanliness 3 out of 4 of us got food poisoning. The hotel didn't have any medicine for fever, diarrhea, nausea, pain relievers or anything.

We booked a room with awesome view of the Bacuit bay. The only thing we had to do to watch the sunrise right from the bed was to wake up. The base price is out of our range. But after nice discount it become great value for money. We will be back!

On windy days, there is not much to do outside the hotel. The hotel doesn't serve alcoholic beverages, but you can bring your own. I think that bottled water should be priced reasonably even in fancier hotels like this one.

Some of the blinds were in need of repair.

It was far away from the hustle and hustle of El Nido.

Not much activity other than the pool, the beach. The boat ride thru rough waters was very disconcerting. The boat landing was extremely difficult to get off and get on. My wife got food poisoning from bad Pizza on our last day. I had to take her to the ER in Manila.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had a wonderful stay at Mantiloc Island Resort in El Nido. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of the islands. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, always making sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality truly stood out and made the experience even more memorable.

I liked the location. A lot of potential. The place is gorgeous.

The facility is outdated. Some of the things are not working properly. The toulet is not flashing. The doors in the beach vila are not closing.The water in the jacuzzi is brown.No alcohol at all.

Well organized and decent facilities; friendly, caring and helpful staff and management all the way from airport boat pickup/transfer and daily activities. We had a very good experience staying in the resort. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing resort.

It’s just a paradise!!! Beautiful island and resort with beautiful beaches and views!!! Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Our tour guide Sanvic is a great guy, very helpful and friendly. There is a family of monkeys on the island. They sometimes visit resort area. No danger!!! They are so cute. Water is clean. You can snorkel or get the kayak to get other side of island to visit different beaches. Food was delicious!!! If you are going to El Nido, Matinloc resort is the place I can’t recommend enough!

Restrictive where we were allowed to go! Could not explore either side of the resort!Very limited on things we could do!No beach waiter service offered

The island had only a few visitors when were went so it was a lot quieter and intimate vs some of the more crowded places. Plus they were able to adjust our rooms as my elderly parents in laws couldn’t make the numerous steps to the first room reserved. The flexibility changed it from a scary experience to a great one.

Could rake up the coral on the beach each day to make the beach more enjoyable. Sad the coral is breaking down like that though.

I am really impressed with the staff. Special mention of Nino and his tour crew, Sheila at the front desk, who goes out of her way to accommodate us on our needs, Abigail and Ryan at the dining room who's been very helpful while we dine, and last but not least, Ruby who goes up and down 99 steps to help 4 seniors at room 206 ??? I would rate these staffs 10 out of 10.

We were 4 seniors and was not given an option to either upgrade to a better accommodation instead of the 99 steps up, even though there were available units that's more suitable for 4 seniors. Although it was my mistake not understanding that the accommodation I booked was a very steep climb to the room, I was hoping that they could have given us a chance for an upgrade to a room comfortable enough for 4 seniors.

The environment is so beautiful. Friendly Staff and anticipated to assist my needs. Speed boat Ride was fun. The accommodation is very good ?? and one of the Owner is very accomodating.I hope to hear back from them.The plate food preparation is nice. The food served taste good.

The food prices are high and drinking bottled water.. There's no elevator going to my room and I have to walk 99 steps to get there although it's a good exercise on the top most view but it is also tiresome to go back and forth No Gcash payment accepted.

It’s not ultra modern but they have all the amenities of a 5 star hotel but mostly the place is enchanted

None at all. It’s perfect in my opinion. Have a cup of coffee and just enjoy the view of the ocean.

During our stay there was a renovation /construction going in the hotel. No one told us about it, no information about it was available on Booking or during communication. The noise and paint smell severly disturbed the nature vibe, tranquility and calmness. When I addressed my concerns about that to the stuff they told that they would talk to construction workers to stay quiet while we are in the pool area, but frankly it didn't have any effect. When I addressed the issue again and told that it makes our experience there compromised and Id expect some kind of acknowledge and maybe complimentary something from the hotel to compensate, they told that they would check - and never came back to me on this issue.So overall - disappointing given the level of the hotel and price tag

Everything about it was PERFECT! The location, the beach, the room, THE STAFF, and just overall. We really enjoyed our time at Matinloc Island Resort! The only thing we wanted was a quiet weekend to rest, relax, and recharge. We got that and then some more!

Just a minor misunderstanding about doing the tour. It was only just us the entire time and there was no other option than to do the private tour instead of the more economical option of joining a group tour. We booked a tour instead with Booking and found out later on that doing this was not allowed, as it is a private island. I understood why, but we literally learned about it on the day of our tour. Anyway, it wasn’t a bad experience or anything. Just need to be communicated clearly and have a better options ready for guests.
