The Fair House Beach Resort & Hotel

The staff are wonderful! They were all so gracious, friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help us book excursions, hail taxis, and give us rides up and down the big hills. The place was really beautiful and the food was always good.

Bathroom wasn¿t fabulous¿unhappy with the big window next to the toilet and a slat missing from the blinds. I would have liked the garbage changed every day, given you can¿t put toilet tissue in the toilets. Lighting was not great. Makeup was impossibl

The beach was nice and clean, bar and restaurant was friendly and helpful, activity was enjoyable. The top hill pool was excellent if with bit of view of beach that would be perfect.

The bungalow is bit of dark need more light and the hairdryer power was not enough to dry hair, need light by the bathroom dressing mirror, shower water temperature was not stable. THE savage dogs was disturbing and birds by breakfast.

Hotel had good facilities. Ok for price

Our room really smelled bad. Like really bad. They burned incense etc to try and mask it but it was horrible. To be fair they did offer to move us, but to a much worse room far from the pool and beach. They knew the room smelled and shouldn't really be selling it.

Beautiful property on the water and staff was relatively friendly. Clean facilities with a nice gym and beautiful pool. The security guard was the nicest person on the property. Very helpful on finding things and cared for safety of scooters

Our room phone wouldn’t work and the electrician couldn’t repair it. A/C stopped working in the middle of the night and the room was hotter than the temperature outside of the room. We also asked the staff several times to help us move the double bed together when we reserved a queen bed. Staff didn’t come until morning to help us but we were about to check out. No compensation received whatsoever.

Great location, nice pool, lovely beach with massage options, decent breakfast.

The room looked unique as it was partly in a cave, but this caused lots of dead space, making the room much smaller than advertised.

Beach Bungalows were very cosy. Great breakfast daily with the restaurant right on the beach. Very efficient housekeeping and friendly staff. Superb beach front with beautiful clean sea for swimming.

Staff in reception seemed a little unwelcoming. (Maybe too busy) And bar / restaurant staff not very service oriented. Very relaxed and laid back - there if you called but not super attentive. (Missed opportunities for upselling F&B - offering additional drinks etc.)

Room on the beautiful Chaweng Noi beach was great

Mix up over the room upon arrival. However this was overcome to our satisfaction. Room was a little dated. Needs some work given the price.

We stayed in a deluxe bungalow which was a step away from being on the beach with sea view and two steps away from the restaurant and swimming pool. Perfect. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The resort is big and we needed to use a buggy to get up the hill to the main reception which meant booking and waiting for it to arrive which mostly it did.

Some staff were lovely but many seemed to be in training and the service at the bar and restaurant in the evening is slow even though there were very few people to serve. The staff appeared unhappy. It is a bus or 10 minute taxi ride into the main town of Chaweng although we did know this when we booked. To book any trips out you need to leave the hotel and it’s a short walk to the booking office. However, there is only one here and therefore no choice as to who you want to use.

The staff was very friendly!

Staff was not so skilled. Several times we never got our orders, and sometimes we also were given reciepts that didnt belong to us. There was no real organization of the staff. Our toilet flush was broken and had to be fixed several tmies. There was also a very bad smell several times of the day.I understand why the deal was 80% off.

Breakfast was okay but slightly limited. Food menu throughout the day was very nice. Housekeeping all lovely and kept the room spotless. Pool area great for kids and close to beach. The hotel is much nicer than the pictures make it look.

We had to move rooms twice (first time was due to the room being on 2 levels and unsafe for our toddler - not the hotels fault; second time due to issues with aircon)

Location was great and beach was great. The landscaping was superb and buggies and security was very good

Our bungalow was in need of repair and the air conditioning was not very good. Some of the beach and bar staff looked like they wanted to be elsewhere other than looking after guests. Breakfast was very good but the food at the restaurant other than breakfast was below average and everything including drinks attracted a 10% default service charge

Rooms are located far from the main restaurant and pools, requiring a hilly walk back or reliance on the golf buggy. The breakfast was good, and the staff were nice; however, despite the number of staff members, they were not very attentive and often just stood around.

The staff were friendly always had a smile and happy for a laugh n chat

Great location on the beach, with a nice beach bar. Hotel is massive but very pretty. Only negative is the rooms feel pretty tired and dark and don’t match what is an otherwise very nice resort.

Lovely hotel. In a quiet area. Golf buggies that give you a lift up and down the hill. Beach beautiful but sea choppy so not suitable for swimming. We found a lot of the calibre of people staying here were older couples who seemed miserable for some reason. Not sure if just for the few days we were there? Beach bungalow was lovely. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Lots of staff who seemed to speak little English and did not seem to want to talk or interact either.
