Location is excellent and the staff are amazing. The downsides to the hotel is that it needs updating such as pool tools are very worn and threadbare, pool decking is worn and sunbeds rotten. Its not worth the money they charge

Our experience at Hansar was the absolute best we could have imagined! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location was the best in the island close to good food, the night markets the beach etc! we will be back!!

The room felt a little damp

Everything about this place is exceptional. From the minute you arrive until you leave the staff is friendly, smiling, and always eager to help in any way they can. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful, the pool was clean and a nice temperature. There were plenty of guests at the resort but somehow it never felt crowded. We were always able to find a lounge chair by the pool when we wanted. The included breakfast was incredible with plenty of options to suit any taste. We especially enjoyed the complimentary espresso drinks every morning. The balconies in each room are incredible, affording a comfortable, shady place to relax day or night and they all include ocean & resort views. The location of the resort was also perfect, being at the very end of the main Fisherman's Village walkway. So all the restaurants, fire shows, bars, and shops were within a pleasant 5-10 minute walk, but at the end of the day we returned to our serene little piece of paradise, away from all the hustle & bustle. We could not have been happier with this resort and are already making plans to return next year!

We would be hard pressed to complain about anything at this resort. They really seem to think of everything and if there were any minor issues they were quick to resolve it.

Everything! it was a great location, the facilities were great and the room was exceptional, we even got a little breakfast box when we left which was nice. For relaxing it’s the best hotel! worth the value

We are a family of 2+2Though we took the biggest room the hotel has, it is a bit small for 2 extra beds in the room (crib and bed)And not a lot of privacy in showerFor a couple or 2+1(baby) it is perfect

Very close to Fisherman village.Our room and the hotel itself is amazing. The pool area is also nice , we always had the sun beds even when we arrived a bit later during the day.

Excellent location for Fisherman's Village. Hotel is clean and comfortable with excellent service from all staff members. Not many families with young children around as the hotel does not offer as much as others in the area for kids so it is great for couples, friends trips or solo travelers. Breakfast is wonderful with an al a carte option included with a semi buffet. Gym is clean and well equipped - some fitness classes would be nice to include in the future!

The staff were very nice and welcoming, everyone did their best to make our vacation great.The food was really good and prices are very reasonable compared to other hotels we stayed at in SAMUI.

At first the bed was a bit too soft, but upon request they changed the mattress topper and it was great.Also, at the swimming pool there weren’t enough beds.

Clean and location is good, the service was very good.

Our ac broke one night, they fixed it, it broke again and we needed to move two rooms which was uncomfortable, but we got upgraded for one night and receive a partial refund for the nights we had to move.

Everything was perfect except the pool and room ventilation. Surprisingly the temperature of water in the pool was higher than sea, very very warm, not refreshing at all during April's heat. Also it seems that there is no proper ventilation in the room so every time after showering it was getting humid, even the bed felt wet. I haven't experienced this in any hotel and it was very weird.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hansar Samui Resort & Spa and had a really enjoyable and relaxing time. The service stood out as one of the best we’ve experienced—staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay.The location was great: quiet and peaceful, but also close to local shops and cafés, which we could easily reach on foot. The hotel’s direct beach access was a big plus and made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted.We spent most of our time just enjoying the hotel itself, as it had everything we needed to relax. We ate all our meals at the hotel—both in the restaurant and through room service—and the food was consistently very good. We also tried a few drinks from the bar and really liked them.Our room had large windows, which gave us plenty of natural light and some lovely views of the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. One of the highlights for us was the spa, where we had a fantastic foot massage that we’d definitely recommend.Since we stayed several days, we also used the laundry service, which was convenient and well-handled. Throughout our stay, we noticed and appreciated the high standard of cleanliness—both in our room and around the hotel.Overall, Hansar Samui was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay, and we’d be happy to return on a future trip to Koh Samui.

Although every lunch and dinner dish we ordered from the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast buffet had room for improvement.

Great location, good room, excellent breakfast and great pool. The staff are superb and to note one is not fair but Leo on reception stood out.
