Pros +
- The experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The resort is incredibly beautiful peaceful and perfectly designed to blend with nature. The staff were outstanding in every sense genuinely kind attentive and professional. I would especially like to highlight Soft, who was absolutely amazing, extremely polite, and made our stay feel very special with her warm attitude and care.
- Our stay was amazing. The room was perfect, the view and the sunset is unbelievably beautiful, the service was wonderful, the staff was kind and gave us a late check out as our flight was only in the evening.
- Everything was great we went for a week for our honeymoon i would say this was the best experience in my life Everyone working there was friendly, smiling, and nice to usMaya was our host she was very nice made a small souvenir with our names and a card
Cons -
- The „Dining on the Rock“ is a great experience - specially the food and the atmosphere - handling of customer feedback needs to be improved
- We were initially assigned a room directly adjacent to a construction site — and while we were reassured that the work stops at night, we were wondering whether ear protection should have been provided for the day or we were meant to stay in our room. The sustainability concept, once innovative, seems to be reaching its limits: the natural straw is unusable, the 'fresh' coconut is not fresh, and these details impact the overall guest experience. The private butler service also lacks consistency and depends heavily on the individual — ours was not particularly proactive and had limited English skills. If an equal level of service cannot be ensured through the private butler system, it would be preferable to have a centralized WhatsApp group that can efficiently handle and delegate guest requests. I also recall a time when guests could select their preferred pillow; this time, we were provided with hard, plastic-like pillows that were extremely uncomfortable. Outside of breakfast, the dining experience was underwhelming. Unfortunately, the overall value for money appears to be diminishing.
- Prepare to encounter quite a few mosquitoes, which is expected given that the resort is surrounded by nature. The gym facilities are somewhat run-down and could benefit from an upgrade.

Great property in the nature, we had the pool villa with fantastic view on the ocean (can‘t be better), great and extremly helpful staff (Maya and Sara from reception, Da from breakfast area and many others), the main pool is amazing, the spa offers all you need, great breakfast, hotel manager and chef are visible and talk to guests

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing and the overall experience comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit.Dan, who went above and beyond in helping us with activity planning and recommendations. His assistance made our trip all the more memorable. We also had an authentic farm-to-table experience. We even picked fresh eggs in the morning for our breakfast, which was such a unique and fun touch. The panoramic view of the pool was absolutely stunning; a true highlight of our stay.
We are very familiar with the Six Senses brand, having stayed multiple times in Koh Samui, Koh Yao Noi, and also in Vietnam. The eco-conscious concept was once pioneering, but it has evolved little over the years. The bungalows remain spacious, private, and offer beautiful views — though the overall feel is beginning to show its age. The infinity pool and the breakfast, however, are absolutely perfect.

What a lovely stay we had! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to every need, making our experience even more enjoyable. The views were absolutely stunning, and the resort offered plenty of spots to relax and unwind. Booking spa treatments, making reservations, and accessing facilities was effortless through the app.Breakfast: A fantastic selection of healthy options! The chef was flexible and happy to customize dishes to our preferences, with plenty of gluten- and dairy-free choices available. We truly appreciate the Six Senses philosophy and will definitely be exploring more of their hotels in the future!

The view from the hotel in to the bay is fantastic. The staff (in majority) is super friendly, the infinity pool offers a nice swim over a great distance. In the afternoon the staff offers free icecream and the staff at the pool is very attentive. Our room was situated perfectly. The problems we had were compensated in a decent way. Thank you for that.
Reading some reviews about the resort being old and run down triggered me to write an email to the staff asking if this was the case. Their response was that they try to upkeep maintenance with eco friendly products and that I should not worry. Arriving at the hotel that must have triggered something with the staff because reception was not friendly. We were taken to our "eco friendly" room, to discover that the room was indeed very old and run down and that it had nothing to do being eco friendly at all. The room had 3 airconditioners blasting away to get the temperature of the non-insulated room down to a comfortable level. The single layer windows and doors did not seal, so mosquitos had a free entrance. You need to sleep under a mosquito net.I complained to the staff about the state of the room and we were offered an upgrade, but the room was in the same run-down state, so we friendly declined the offer because our room had a better situation in the resort. Then came dinner. My wife ordered a Burger, I ordered a Steak Medium Rare. My steak had to be given back 2 times because the first time it was overcooked, the second time it was raw and the 3rd time it was perfect, but my wife had finished her meal already by the time the steak came back the 3 rd time. Later that night she woke up and started vomiting due to food poisoning. I reported that to the staff and we had a conversation with the GM who offered us a free meal and a free night's stay as a compensation. Thanks for that. The food choices in the restaurant are limited so you quickly run out of options. Overall I think the resort is overpriced compared to the Banyan Tree nearby. The rooms should be renovated as well as the overall property. Maybe then guests do not need to send emails about this making the reception an overall more pleasing experience. We paid almost double the money then at Banyan Tree, but if you compare these two, Six senses cannot win by only having a fantastic view.
Absolutely loved our stay. Excellent service, super cool and comfy room with an incredible sea view, and both the pool and beach area were great too. The spa and gym facilities were also brilliant.
The restaurant at the beach could do with some improvements in both service and food quality.
The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful. We had a delightful time enjoying breakfast and lunch by the beach each day. The cocktails were excellent as well. Every evening, we took our rented car to explore the local sights and restaurants in the area. Koh Samui is very much recommended for a peaceful holiday in the sun.
The villas and fitness center could definitely benefit from an update. They felt outdated and did not meet the expected standards of a luxury resort.

Breakfast could be better
One of the most stunning properties we have ever stayed in. Location is breathtaking. The staff are the most humble kindest people we have ever come across at a resort. Above and beyond a 5*. The staff go above and beyond and out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The staff make this resort one of the best in the world. Special mention to our Gem Maya, who was there on hand to make sure we had everything we ever needed. To Deaar the restaurant manager on the hill , the kindest friendliest person I’ve ever met, all of his team are just amazing, special shout out to Film, Tak, Carton… we could literally mention everyone . We stayed for 2 weeks . It was paradise within paradise. Out of this world next level hospitality at its finest! We miss everyone and the resort already.
Aeroplanes flying over all day. Only downside to the property is it is quite close to the airport and the flight path in and out .
Easily our best vacation experience ever. The room was expensive but it has very high value compared to American resorts. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The whole experience in the resort was very customer centric. All the villas offered fantastic privacy and a great way to recharge. Particularly loved the private pool.Free breakfast every day was so awesome. Tons of fresh fruits and tropical drinks. This place really made us fall in love with Ko Samui and Thailand. They also offered some experiences and excursions. We did the Thai cooking class in the resort which was delicions. We also went to zipline and elephant sanctuary from the resorts. Very convenient to have them pick you up.
The location and the facilities are great, clean and spacious. The biggest plus in our opinion is the staff. They literally took care of everything we needed. Just approach them and they’ll fix you up. They made our stay in Thailand much better and memorable. We want to specifically mention Aum, our guest experience maker that took care of us in the best way possible.
Impeccable property, we were blown away by the amazing staff, villas and how beautiful the resort is. The staff are just amazing, location is very peaceful. Maya was our “gem” , she was the best and made our stay special
Oustanding experience, they just thought about everything. The view of the pool is amazing. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very comfort
Food could be betterWe had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the value for money was pretty low.
Everything! The staff was SO kind and happy to see us ,Interior design was beyond all expectations and the facilities were all we could ask for.Thank you for everything it was the best time of our lives
Nothing all was perfect
The stunning views. The size of the villa. The hotel's resident goats! The exceptional personalized service blew me away. There was one day when my guest relations officer noticed my car wasn't in the hotel carpark after dark. she recalled that I had mentioned that morning that I might visit one of the other resorts just to have a look around. But, because it poured that day, I changed my plans. My guest relations officer tried to track me down at the other resort, worried that something might have happened to me. I was deeply touched by the level of care!
As like most resorts located in stunning locations, guests might feel the resort is not really within walking distance to amenities. I would recommend what I did, I picked up a rental car from the airport and had the use of the car for my entire stay. Drive Car Rental is an excellent Thai company to rent from. The rate was reasonable and the car was new and clean.
staff were very friendly and tried to the best of their ability to make our staff enjoyable.the food was very good with enough choice.the accomodation was satisfactory and can be improved upon. better luck next time.
Stunning location with lovely staff
It’s a bit worn out and it shows. Mosquitoes and ants are abundant.
