Chaweng Buri Resort

Good location

The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the room decor was old and outdated, the shower curtain was filthy, the street noise was loud, and apparently housekeeping doesn't visit the rooms during your stay (I was there 9 nights and they didn't come once). It was not the relaxing beach resort I was hoping for.

The room and the location were good. The beach was great. Hawkers were friendly, they left you alone if you said you didn't want to buy anything. The water at the beach was a little murky. Staff were friendly and respectful.

The breakfast was underwhelming. I couldn't say specifically what I didn't like but, it wasn't worth the price. I also don't think Samui is a breakfast place, like Ubud, Bali. I think it may have just been a poor presentation of the breakfast items. IDK

Location is awesome resort is cute . Translate old tired, but passable due to the location.

Breakfast was disappointing - once the beachside Wood workout pay per use Beachfront Gym had opened that side of the resort became busy & the beachfront dynamic changed. I dont like my direct beach access for relaxation interrupt all day everyday by this & pumping house music playing all day till evening. We got a pretty nice front location for 13 nights at the rack rate it was good value after about 4 nights they finished and opened the new Wood Work out Gym. I dont blame them for maximising the beachfront there but in future I would navigate around this its just not what I want in my view.

The property was beautiful! Right on the water, the staff set up chairs for you. Chewang beach is gorgeous. The rooms were big and spacious, very clean. Staff were very friendly. I would come here again.

The walkway wasn’t super well paved, and the pool wasn’t so nice.

Gym being renovated when I visited mid November. Shame because I was looking forward to using it after seeing so many positive reviews and I would have liked to know about that before I arrived

You never really know what you're getting, even with reviews, but we were so pleasantly surprised with our stay at Chaweng Buri! The rooms were everything we needed and the proximity to the beach and nightlife was great. We were only there for 2 nights, unfortunately, but we would definitely stay there again!

Old-school, simple Thai-style hotel — feels like Thailand 15 years ago when I first came here.Rooms are clean and bright. The pool is great and never too crowded.The restaurant isn’t the highlight (we skipped breakfast), but there are plenty of nice options nearby.The location is perfect — just a 1-minute walk to Central Samui.Beachwood Gym next door is a great bonus for workouts.Overall, a very pleasant stay with a nostalgic vibe — just don’t expect much “service,” and you’ll love it.

A little distant from the center of Chaweng, 7 eleven, all the bars, but best swimming pool, staff, and the cleanest beach in Koh samui

No hot water

Location was the best and in the middle of everything! And the staff is the best! We felt like family from the minute we arrived and cried when it was time to say goodbye. The food is delicious and always fresh! The beach in front is the best Chaweng has to offer with clean clear water and white sand with a gentle slope into the cool deeper water to escape the heat.

Nothing to dislike. They are constantly working on keeping the garden beautiful and the pool clean. The cleaning lady is friendly and accommodating to your needs and schedule.

Resort location is in middle of the main street in Koh Samui with best beaches and night lifes in the region

Nothing as such. Forgot my shirts by mistake in the room. I think that would be the only bad memory about the place.

Lighting at night…very antiquated huts…not the problem. The foot path is rough…and the br and food absolutely suck

Great location, my brother and myself had a great time staying here and would recommend! The staff are friendly, the food was lovely and the room was just right for what we needed. You can hear ark bar at night but it didn't bother us.

Everything from our plunge pool villa to the friendly staff! There is a brand new outdoor gym facility that is amazing and the pool area always has beds and shade which is not always possible at other resorts. We loved our time here and will return! ??

Lovely beach front resort on the main road in Chaweng. Room was clean and spacious and staff were very accommodating, when the AC wasn’t working in the first room they moved us to a new room straight away. The private plunge pool was also an added bonus!

The water from the tap was yellow ... ants everywhere in the room ... run down facilities.Out of all the 5 hotels I did in Samui - this was the most expensive and yet the dirtier..
