Chaweng Cove Beach Resort

Great beach area. Front office staff was very nice and friendly. Room was big and clean. Liked that they had towels, beach shoes and an umbrella too. My space was lovely and quiet. Loved everything but the restaurant.

Restaurant folks attempted to remove ingredient i was allergic to rather than just saying its premade with the ingredient, pick something else. Thus had my allergen in it. Breakfast offerings not that great especially fruit & yogurt, bakery items weren’t necessarily fresh. Lovely views of the beach though.

Beautiful resort! The bed was a dream. Clean and spacious room. Breakfast was delicious and had good variety. The staff were all lovely. Pool and beach areas were awesome. Good location. Quiet at night.

Decent resort just outside all the madness but close enough to be very accessible. The seaside restaurant was my favorite part; the food is pretty good too. The room was clean and had all amenities although it was rather dated and could use a renovation. Very easy access to the beach, right behind the pool, which was also good. Very friendly staff. Also they offer laundry service for a very reasonable price; my hotel in Bangkok charged an arm and a leg for laundry service.

Outdated rooms; the lobby looks very shabby too and is dire need of an upgrade. The coffee at breakfast was too strong; almost at the level of Turkish coffee. And there was no plant-based/lactose-free milk.

The bathrooms had mold. My daughter got someone elses self tan on her arms the first night because the sheets weren't clean. We had to ask for both the bathrooms to be scrubbed. The king bed in our room was hard as a rock. The plunge pool in our kids room was actually a hot tub but it was broken. The grounds were not good. We could see all sorts of trash thrown behind the bungalows. Did not give enough water.Did not go to the pool at all because it didn't get any breeze, and you couldn't see the beach.

There was a lot to like here, mainly because we had one of the beachfront bungalows. Location and view were fantastic. Front desk crew were also very good. Great shower. Smoothies and one of our meals were very good.

Bit rough around the edges and could do with a bit more attention to detail in maintenance and cleanliness, but not horrible by any means. Disappointed in the taste of most items on the breakfast buffet. The cocktails were expensive, especially when they tasted like there was no alcohol.

Great resort with great location and beautiful sandy and clean beach with no weeds or rocks. This resort is right on the beach front with all kinds of conveniences near by if needed. I’ll definitely make it a yearly event to visit this resort with my family. Bravo!!! Big shout out to restaurant for wonderful breakfast served every morning with wonder people to serv. Beautiful swimming pools to cater for all ages.

All was good and nothing negative was negative about this resort to criticize.

Great hotel on the beach. Great service and friendly staff. Location is good - and the beach is beautiful.

Strong smell of mold in our room

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The beach was beautiful and relaxing, the pool was clean and inviting, and the entire property was very well maintained. The location is perfect — close to everything we needed.We truly loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Fantastic staff (super welcoming and attentive. They even decorated my daughter’s room with flowers for her 18th birthday and brought a cake) Awesome location, pool, breakfast was fantastic.

I really liked Chaweng Cove. It was just what I was looking for. The grounds are lovely, pool is clean. The ocean was very clear. The staff were friendly. I stayed in a deluxe villa. The experience was casual upscale. There were 7 of us. We all had a great time.

I think this is a beautiful resort. The room was one of the larger rooms that I had on my vacation. The room is clean and very comfortable. The shower was great, the bed comfortable. The pool area is very nice with 3 different pools. And the hotel is right on the beach. It is far from the music scene of this island so it is a very quiet property. The staff is so sweet. I don't think you could find a nicer group of people at the desk and the restaurant. The breakfast was okey, with all the usual things served. I would recommend this property for someone who wants peace and quiet and a lovely property.

I read reviews about this hotel that it was quiet and a short 10 minute walk to the main part of town. That is a little deceiving. While there are several restaurants near by and good ones. It is quite a distance from the main part of town and really quite far from the club scene and the more active part of town. The walk to the central area is at least 20 minutes. Maybe 15 if you are a fast walker. This was the only thing I did not like but it was minor and would be for most people.

Wonderful location and staff. Clean, friendly staff, air con good, nice rooms. Couldn’t ask for more. Restaurant and bar area really nice with great views.

Nothing to fault

A pool on the terrace facing the beach and ocean was unforgettable and extraordinary. Being able to roll over and watch the sunrise from bed was a pleasant way to greet the day.

My only complaint is a minor one. The shower switch was broken. Meaning, I could only use the hand held shower head since I couldn't switch between the two options. However, to be fair, I didn't bring this issue up with the staff to see if it could be fixed during my stay.

Great location - right on the beach & the main road so easy to get around / everywhere from it. The beach itself is gorgeous, soft white sand & the clearest water. The staff were exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you & there was a real ‘family’ feeling to the team. Accommodation was perfect, bed was comfortable & the bungalow room had a nice terrace to chill in the evening. On the Monday night there was a fire show & bbq, if you are there for that, I highly recommend you go - it’s great & the food was gorgeous. Overall the food was fab & the best continental breakfast I’ve had in Thailand, omelette cooked to order every morning , delicious!!

On the beach with free to use sun beds and umbrellas. Very nice “pool villa” directly on the beach. Good breakfast.

First room had a really strong and bad smell so we paid a hefty price for upgrading to the pool villa, which was the only available option.

We loved the beach and the grounds on the site were beautiful. The library was a nice touch.

Having someone at the pool to ensure that people were not saving chairs then never showing up. We saw this happen several times. We also had trouble swimming when groups would enter the pool and just stand there talking, loudly, and not leave room for swimmers. Although the two dinners we had at the restaurant were very good, the breakfast buffet was terrible. My wife only went twice then passed on breakfast.

I requested a room change because mine was directly by the street and hence quite noisy. I immediately got a new room. The employee was very nice about it and almost ashamed I didn't like the old room.

I guess that if you don't book a bungalow you can end up in a room by the street which indeed is noisy.

We were lucky enough to stay in a beach front villa with pool ,the view was amazing and the little pool came in very handy due to it being so hot .

Having to leave !!!
