Ibis Samui Bophut Hotel

Ok location, 3 pools, gym, possible to book connection room.

The customer service from the staff was very poor. I had to wait 40 minutes for some drinks I ordered. And I even notified them after 20 minutes.same goes for the service in pool restaurant told us they were fully booked even though they were not.

The location was decent, it’s located in Bo Phut and about a 20 minute walk from the Fisherman’s Village

We stayed in a Deluxe Room and were very disappointed. There was no hot water unless the shower ran for over 5-ish minutes, and after that, it goes through waves of warm water. The pressure of the water will lessen if someone uses the sink at the same time.The room was very small with little to no ventilation, causing heavy condensation on the walls and windows and making the space feel damp and sticky when you shower. When we asked to switch rooms, we were told all rooms are like this unless we paid to upgrade. Given how expensive the Deluxe Room already was, we did not feel an upgrade just to have basic ventilation was reasonable.The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the reality of the rooms. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations and was not worth the cost.

Comfy staying.Rooms are good. All air con and electricity are always running in room. Many keycards to use.Hotel is right next to the beach. Have many swimming pools and playgrounds for kids also other play zone facilities

The cleaning is still not as clean as I expected.They clean well and fast but still have some hair on the bathroom ground but that’s ok

Main front pool water was not clearAccess to rooms is within a corridor that has a lot of echo and reberb due to the material used. In the morning everything can be heard, slamming doors, staff troleys, staff talkies and screaming kids.At night, walls are too thin in this ibis and loud customers can be heard.It was my worst night in 2025.Never again.

The facility is beautiful. It feels very relaxing at the poolside and on the beach. Away from the hubbub of the street outside. The staff was friendly.

The room was tiny -- everything maximized for space constrictions, but I would have liked more room to put my stuff, sit down and write, and just have room to move around. And although there are 2 chairs on the balcony, it's so small you can't actually put both of the chairs out, they just have to be stacked on top of each other.

Good clean Hotel and the staff especially at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

Beach is limited but swim-able. Some minor pollution because of all the boats moored off the beach. Pool and bar facilities were very good. The lobby concierge was very good at arranging local tours.

Like IBIS Bangkok, rooms could use a better chair for relaxing when not out and about.

The hotel is clean, rooms are very small, tiny corner shower the smallest I've ever seen. It's a typical Ibis budget chain Hotel. Nice pools and its right on the beach.However the beach is not the best, the worst I've seen in thailnd so far. The sand is made from crushed shells and the sea is very dirty with mud like substance on the sea bed. I wore a white bikini in and it came out brown... yuck.It's about a 20 minute walk to Fishermans village which was nice. Nearby 7 -11. But nothing else around. We booked for 5 nights and checked out just after 1 night and went back to Chaweng.Apart from fishermans village and the night market there was nothing going on. The hotel was OK but the location is terrible. Bophet is not for us.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so unless you rent a car or bike your walking or using taxis the entire time. Fishermans village is a 20 min walk away and although pretty it's a tourist trap completely over rated and very expensive. Food and drink at the Hotel is very pricey compared to other parts of the island. We were meant to stay 5 nights but we were so bored we checked out early and went back to Chaweng which is far better value for money, better beaches and better choice of restaurants. Sea and beach not the best, sea very dirty, my white bikini was brown after 10 minutes in the sea. Bophut in general is too quite and bit boring for us.
