Samui First House Hotel

Clean, close to 7/11, staff are helpful.

Extremely noisy from next building construction, starting in the very early morning. During the night also a little bit noise from reception desk and lobby, all in the same floor.

It's very quiet. The hotel has a beautiful private beach. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby. I rented a motorcycle right in front of my building for access to the entire island. I stay here whenever I come to Samui.

It's perfect for me.

It was a nice hotel within walking distance to mini mart, shops, and restaurants. The beach access was good and the pool was great to cool down in and very quiet every time we used it.

It’s at the bottom end of Chaweng beach which is the quieter area, we didn’t want to drive or rent a bike so it was a bit more expensive to get taxis and grabs from this location.

Think some of the reviews are unjust, booked 2 rooms for a family and both were fine, if you are used to a thai style hotel then you will have no problems staying here.

It does need a new lick of paint, but all cosmetic things, bed was hard for me but fine for the rest of family.

The bed sheets were a little weird texture and I wish we had a window in the bedroom so fresh air can come in

I liked the bathroom a lot and the balcony, and the pool and the breakfast

The smell in the rooms, the hotel is basic did the job. Breakfast was basic not many options

Beautiful beach just over a bridge. Nice pool. Building looks a little tired . Our aircon wouldn't work they moved us rooms and put a new one on our old room straight away!! Staff very helpful.

I read some negative reviews before arriving so I didn't know what to expect. Check in was fast and efficient, staff was absolutely nice and helpful. The building and the area around the hotel is a bit chaotic and it does look old - personally I didn't find this a problem. I think this place of perfect for people with families who want to save some money on accommodation. It was safe and had everything I needed. Clean room, nice AC, clean towels, bottled water and coffee in my room every day. If you are looking for a magical holiday resort with luxurious rooms and sea view for your honeymoon, than this is not the place for you. If you want affordable accommodation for a couple of days close to the downtown you will like it.

The room was nice and the beds were comfy. All the staff were very friendly

We didn’t have any hot water, there’s was only about 8 sun beds by the pool and there was a random piece of metal sticking out of the floor in the room that I think was an old door stop but I cut my foot quite badly on it

Close to the beach

Could not sleep past 8am or nap due to overhearing the cleaning staff being on the phone non stop or the sound of furniture being moved.(Ps: I use ear plugs)Balcony 1,5m away from neighbour building balcony ( see picture )Tube coming from the ceiling, dripping liquid in the bathroom sink.All of these things could have been overlooked, but for 1750 bath per night, i feel compelled to share my disappointment.

Private beach, location

The sheets in the room were a bit old, but the room was clean.

The private beach is gorgeous. Easy access to pretty much everything you'd want, only a short walk to Chaweng. There are several lovely pools on the compound that you can use.

The bed was a little old and not as comfortable.

Clean and neat, close to the beach and comfortable for short or long stay either alone or family.

Location was great, as it was right next to the beach and a short drive away from samui central and fisherman's market

Tiles in the pool were a little broken and the kids cut their toes a few times on them. I highly recommend aqua shoes

Decent location and for the money it ain’t bad especially for travellers, nice pool ac was good Wi-Fi was fine

Nice building from the past with no maitenence at all.Old fashioned furniture, very humid inside, it should cost less than half of its current price.Only As last chance if you dont find better alternative.In neighborhood you can find more convenient hotels with more affordable price.
