The best location for a quick luxurious decompression. Close to airport and city. But quiet and secluded. Each room is a villa. Staff are excellent. Went out of their way to support me.

Service was disappointing. Breakfast options were very limited and not what one expects for a 5 star property. The penny pinching was very evident.

I did not make it to the trip due to a health emergency. I communicated this to the hotel at least 3 weeks before the trip which I know it was one day after the free cancellation. The hotel asked for all documents related to the emergency which I provided just to get a response later that you cancelled after the fee cancellation period which I knew. I was hoping the hotel Managment understand the situation and be able to make the room available for other guests instead of insisting to keep the booking and charge me the full amount.

The breakfast was very good, and the private beach and pool area was beautiful.

The room facilities didn't work, we had problem with the toilet and the jacuzzi didn't work.We felt no privacy, the staff entered to our room twice a day without us knowing about it. Also the location wasn't that good. Honestly it felt overpriced.

The room size and light We were 2 adults and 2 kids.The room was very small and not convenient .The light was very dark in the kids room unable them to enjoy the room

Incredible location, the hotel was beautifully located in a jungle, secluded and beautiful beach and the decoration of rooms was impeccable. The staff were really nice too.

The pool, beach, and dining room were close together, making it very convenient to use them.Great breakfast.Most of the staff members were nice.

The room was not clean and not well maintained. Our first room was full of ants, and the water didn’t drain properly from the shower and the basin. We requested to move to another room, and the second one was relatively clean and better maintained.The original room setup was not suitable for our stay with a two-year-old baby — the espresso machine and water kettle were placed on a low table, allowing our baby to reach them and risk getting burned. In the second room, the staff changed the setup to make it safer.There is a constant, light but unpleasant smell of sewage in the pool area.The restaurant next to the pool is not recommended for dinner.

We have picked Anantara Lawana as our final hotel in Koh Samui as we wanted to explore the places such as Fisherman's village and other cafes around. From the moment when we alighted, we were greeted by the wonderful staffs, followed by a ritual with hitting the entrance gong 3 times which symbolizes good fortune and luck! A wonderful welcome drink and minty wipes which refreshes us just before the check-in process! My partner and I have selected the Anantara Pool Suite which is truly amazing and had a small private pool for us to relax in. We also had a lot of privacy in the room which exactly is what we wanted! Not to forget, a great selection of places for us to dine in for dinner which we have selected Cay Restaurant and a vast variety of food available for the breakfast buffet!Unfortunately, we have only stayed there for a night and we really appreciate the staffs help for rescheduling our check out time to 2pm as our flight to Singapore is at 4.30pm. A BIG thank you to all the staffs for the wonderful hospitality towards us and we will definitely stay in the other Anantara hotels in the future!

We were only there for a night, hence we didn't get to use all the facilities in the hotel, such as the gym, beach and spa. Although the rooms were a little far, but we are generally okay to walk from the lobby and also to the restaurants from our rooms. I do understand that there is a buggy service, but we have not used it so as not to cause any inconvenience and to give it to those in need. We felt that the beds were a little too stiff and the existing pillows were too soft, but i realized that we can order different pillows after we saw the cube with the QR code.Nonetheless, we really love the hotel for this wonderful 1 night stay!

I loved this pool villa room! It was spacious, clean, comfortable and private. Excellent service from all staff members. The pool area was quiet and well maintained. There isn't a lot in walking distance around the hotel on the beach. However, there are a few restaurants and massage shops along the main road. Room service is also a good choice!

Breakfast was just average. Also the rooms are not soundproof, and can hear almost everything from the outside of your room

I could not be happier of my stay. The staff is very dedicated, friendly and professional. The property is like a little oasis, very quiet and relaxing. The amenities are great and service very good.

Staff was very friendly & courteous specially ‘Pop’ at Ocean Kiss restaurant for breakfast everyday and RK at the reception. House keeping was a bit disappointing as noted that room cleaning was not up to the standard.

The hotel is just top service and comfort-wise. The only disadvantage, on our taste, is the beach, which can be much better on Samui and even in Chaweng: water is too shallow, there are some rocks breaking the view.

Staff,location,and inside the villa(decoration etc..) was amazing

We stayed in private villa.PRIVATE ! even the villa was surrounded with green plants, inside the villa and around PRIVATE POOL was showed by everybody who passed our villa in the street .i stayed with my husband and it was our honeymoon.Really Anantara's style shouldnt have been like that. We realized afterwards and felt really as if we were staying on street. +As were smoking in the smoking area we were warned harsly by waiter to not to smoke bc there is baby (distance 1 km.away ) nonsense .i disturbed by baby existance as well but i didnt complaint why we had to strict our self to smoke in SMOKING AREA THAT WAS DETERMINED AREA BY HOTEL GOVERNMENT!!!!

We really loved location, amenities, beach, nature, staff were super professional and nice. Special thanks to Mint, she was serving us at breakfasts, really welcoming and friendly. The only thing lacking was not enough lighting in the room.

Our pool villa was all the luxurious privacy our family needed! We will also remember the stunning breakfast and our magical diner at TREETOP. And a massive shoutout to the staff, who was beyond adorable.

Great location close to chaweng but still on a quiet more private beach. Amazing breakfast. Superb, friendly and helpful staff.

Our villa was quite far away from the main restaurants and beach. I was there with my mum and toddler so we couldn’t walk the way several times a day and always had to call for the golf carts. It made moving around a bit annoying and if you forget something in the room it’s a whole journey. The resort is getting old and could need renovations here and there. Some rooms don’t even have a balcony or outside area.The beach and restaurant area is quite small in comparison and is was always very packed. Food and spa prices too high in comparison.It did not have the luxury feel of other resorts in the same price category.

Gardens were nice and provided privacy. Making all accommodations discreetly hidden from each other

Lobby could be a bit more impressive. Beds not the most comfortable. Breakfast staff seemed very pressured and too busy - long waiting times- maybe short staffed? This was the only lapse in great service.
