Location is great, on the beach, close to shops and entertainment, but not close enough to be disturbed by it. Hotel is lovely, with well appointed rooms, nice decor and good facilities

Beach bar/restaurant staff could be encouraged to improve customer service

Great pool, quiet end of town.

People were reserving sun beds with towels before actually coming to use them. Hotel should have a policy where no reservation of sun beds is permitted. Also in the deluxe rooms the walkways were right outside your room door hence very noisy. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Better places for better value.

Superb stay! The beach is beautiful (could have been better if the hotel restaurant played chill music). Friendly and all time helpful staff.

No happy hour and the drinks were ridiculously expensive. 180 baht for a small beer and 120 baht for a soda made it by far the most expensive of the hotels I’ve stayed in. We didn’t order any drinks at the hotel whereas we would normal have a few most days.

We loved everything about our stay! The location is fantastic, the staff were amazing, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of options. We will be back ?

Went rogue on a trip to the Island and decided to stay, looked at a few places and found this, one room left. Delightful small hotel. Lovely pool, beach beautiful, next to the pool. Perfectly located on the Main Street but at the quieter end. Perfect for all types of guests. We came as a couple, would happily bring the children. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, didn’t want to leave. Really good value for money.

The rooms were spotless. The cleaners do an amazing job every morning and they are so lovely to chat to!The pool is great and clean, lots of sunbeds at the pool and also on the beach. The beachfront access was great. Really comfortable beds, great size bathroom. Far enough away from the noise, really quiet at night, easy 5min walk to the bars.

The aircon was slightly wet, we ended up sick from the dampness. However our friends in another room did not have this issue so it may have been a once off!Would 100% come back.

Everything is perfect! We loved it there The beach is amazing and everything you need is right there next door.The staff was helpful and always smiling.

SHOWER WATER TEMPERATURE was a disaster they tries to fix it but it went from cold to boiling hot while showering which was annoying to my kids and us.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Closeness to the beach and downtown happenings.

Liked everything about property

Everything at Baan Samui was spot on. It’s an upper mid priced hotel and compared with other in the price range very good. Firstly the location is excellent. The hotel is right on best part of Chaweng beach. It’s also far enough away from the lively nightlife area so it’s incredibly quiet but still only a 10 minute leisurely stroll into the heart of Chaweng. The hotel is very clean and all the staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel bar / restaurant was lovely - it’s a little pricey compared with the other local restaurants but well worth the money as the quality is very high and you do have the direct sea view. The rooms are large and in very good condition. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend The Baan Samui resort.
