Chaweng Regent Beach Resort

Chaweng Regent is a beautiful hotel in traditional Thai style. The gardens are tropical & immaculately kept. The hotel is central but still very private and quiet. The staff are very friendly and welcoming making you want to never leave!

It was beautiful and clean, well kept and comfortable. The location was perfect.

The spa - I spent two and a half weeks in Thailand and this was the only massage I was disappointed with and was the most expensive.

The ancillary staff had to be reminded a few times to clean the room; breakfasts were not good enough, the range of meals and the quality was rather likr a 4**** hotel; dishes a la carte at the restaurant not very good.

Nice pools and nice pool bar. Food at the restaurant was quite good and the view stunning. We celebrated there both Christmas'Eve and NY's Eve and they were both well organised with excellent food.

The room was very expensive and the shower drain wasn't working well. There room and bathroom constantly smelled like a sewer :(

Old Need to renew the room have bad smell like humidity which really can effect the health.

Great location, friendly staff, and many delicious options at breakfast. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with a beautiful pool and direct beach access. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We would love to come back to this resort. Super recommended! ?✨

The closet didn’t have enough shelving space, and there was no proper area to open our luggage.

The coy pond was very beautiful. The pool looked nice but overcrowded with kids. Food at the restaurant was okay. Nice check in area.

The room was not as advertised on booking.com, they said they have several rooms for that “type” of room, but they weren’t actually all the same/ what is listed on the website, which shouldn’t be how it’s listed. They told me they were out of the rooms that I desired. It said they had a “semi outdoor spa” in the room - no they didn’t, it’s just a tub and if you’re in the second floor there is a skylight above it. They upgraded my room but it was just a slightly larger room with no better amenities. Lots of loud construction happening during the course of the day which was bothersome. Thin walls allow you to hear the room next to you.

Great location, very clean, the restaurant was good, and the direct access to the beach was perfect.

You can hear everything from outside because the room had poor isolation, which made it hard to sleep.

The hotel sits in the center of chewengs’ Main Street on one side and on the beach on the other side. It was very easy getting around, and yet quiet enough to relax. At first we had two connecting rooms, but they were placed too close to the Main Street so that my son and his father had trouble falling asleep. The next morning, my husband asked for a quiet room. We got the two villa’s next to the pool. It was amazing.

All was perfect. We didn’t like spending time outside, because it was smelly and full of noise. But in the resort you can’t feel a thing

WE liked the room we got opposite the pool. It was spacious. The layout of the resort was good The breakfast was good it had a good spread.

I am not saying this could be better but I did not like the beach in front of the resort because of rocks and plant growth making it inconvinient , if you walk about half a kilometer to the right side the same beach is good.

Very friendly staff, service is incredible and rooms and atmosphere is perfect.

Extremely disappointing stay – not as described!We booked a Deluxe Room expecting a relaxing experience, but the room was completely different from the photos and description.The air conditioner blew freezing air directly onto our faces all night, making it impossible to sleep, and when we turned it off, the room became unbearably hot.The pillows were old and hard, the blankets smelled strongly of cigarettes, and there was a clogged sink.We spent over five hours with hotel staff trying to fix some of these issues — but nothing really improved.We did not sleep at all and had to cancel a planned trip the next day, losing valuable vacation time.The room rate was extremely high for what we received, and the management’s response — offering only a 50% refund for that night — was simply unacceptable.This stay was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Definitely not worth the price, and nothing like what was advertised.

Big rooms, the resort is well kept and the beach is great. We loved the happy hour at the pool bar.

We booked a specific upgraded room, but it was right in front of the pool and there was no privacy, and we woke up from screaming children outside the room very early.Then we asked to move, but at the night there was a lot of noise from the street and we couldn’t sleep (the room that we moved to was cheaper and less fancy from the one we ordered. The Chaweng is a very busy and smelling street and it must be taken under consideration.The staff in general was nice, but not as welcoming as other resorts we’ve been to in Thailand.One last thing - we mentioned many times that we’re celebrating our honeymoon, and although it is not mandatory, we expected to get some mention about it, but they didn’t. It’s unfortunate since that was the place we decided to celebrate our honeymoon at, and spent a lot of money on it.

location is wonderful, in the middle of chaweng st. 1 min walk to everything. nice beachfront pool with jacuzi inside and a kids club . small gym but got everything i need
