    Pros +

    • The view was breathtaking. Staff were lovely. Room was fair but clean and only slept in there. Had to request cups and water. No eating places in the vicinity but could book and be picked up for evening meal.
    • Quiet and peaceful. Perfect beach location and private beach so just perfect to step out of the accommodation on to the beach for a morning stroll. The most beautiful sunsets to enjoy. The staff at the resort were extremely helpful
    • The position was good to be away from the main town it was very peaceful and we enjoyed walks on the beach daily very relaxing.

    Cons -

    • Not enough beach beds for all guests. Restaurant had limited drinks menu, no wine and service was occasionally disappointing, but most very friendly and welcoming.
    • Dissapointed that we had to get a taxi in and out of town each time , should have a free shuttle to accomodate your guests could be twice a day . Restaurant food was ok . Every day we walked the beach and picked up bags of rubbish , it would be of benefit that instead of the gardeners seeping leaves daily perhaps a rubbish collection would be better.
    • Property run down; hardly any water pressure; construction next to villa; holes in walls allowed bulk mosquitoes in; restaurant expensive and well below average. In general this place is pretty crap and there is nothing nearby; however if you want somewhere to lay on the beach; swim, snorkel and just relax; then I would still recommend this place..

The view and placing is excellent from the beach villa. Immediately at the beach. Gorgeous sunsets. Spacious room. Tiny bit outdated. But suited for us. ( all depends on your standards) Working airco. Sometimes water pressure was to low to shower. Swimming pool available. Daily cleaning.

The restaurant menu is a bit small. We ate Asian, but not much vegetarian options. ( we stayed for a week) Staff is very friendly. Breakfast included for us ( continental And Asian ) If you can’t drink beer ( gluten) there is nothing else. You need a taxi + driver to get you anywhere. You can’t walk to town or elsewhere because of the mountains. No instructions at the room ea information about anything, nor tip box. Very easy to lock yourself out. But friendly staff is helpful.

    The location was fantastic

The property needs some serious maintenance. Quite often we had no water to shower or flush the toilet. And when there was water there was very little pressure.

    Location is perfect

It’s bit far away of everything and the place needs to have a facelift… prices for accommodation are too high Restaurant menu is quite limited !

We booked a beach villa, the location and scenery were stunning and beautiful. We ended up extending our stay to 4 nights. You want to have your own transportation here as it’s a bit out of town, it’s easy to rent scooters in Labuan Bajo and they’ll bring them to the resort which is nice - the bungalow is a bit of a ways from the lobby so it was nice to be able to drive the scooters right to the unit. The pools were beautiful, with 2 to choose from. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was good, and also the burger and chicken sandwich - although extremely over priced - were good. But we tried to eat at the restaurant for dinner one night and it was so gross, inedible calamari and sautee that was very overpriced and they made us pay for even tho we couldn’t eat it. We walked down the beach to the Atlantis for food, which is also pricey but at least it’s absolutely delicious. Breakfast was good but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend eating at the restaurant. There was a huge rainstorm the night we arrived and the mosquitoes were insane IN the room, with no bug netting. The staff gave us some spray to spray the room which we did before going out for the evening and this cleared up the problem.

Old, not well managed, 2 or 3 workers are good. Better stay at the next door resort than this onr

Everything were disgrace, apart from the guy whose running the kayak business and the driver named Nico

    Location on the beach!

Cold soup at breakfast...and to much plastic on the beach!!

    7AnnaPosted on: 10-30-2023

The location is gorgious - directly on the beach with beautifull garden & sea view. It compensates a lot. People were friendly and supporting. The restaurant/bar close to the beach is a benefit too.Bed were comfortable & clean.

During my stay the bungalows were partially under reconstruction and my villa was one of those waiting for renovation. The bathroom equipment was not the cleanest/best one and roof was partially broken. It was not really disturbing but definetly not looking/feeling good. The cleaning personnel did not really cleansed everything - e.g. during my whole stay (3 nights) there were dirty towels of old guests laying around in the wardrobe and nobody took them out. We did not used the wardrobe, so we ignored it too...There was dirt visible in the corners, under bed etc. To some extend it is understandable as the hotel lies practically on the beach, but especially when guests are changeing it should be cleaned.

We had our own private beach. Cleaning staff were kind and helpful. They arrange flowers for our honeymoon. It was wonderful!

Hotel front staff were quite rude and not helpful. We arrived 1 hour early and our room was not ready (which was okay because we asked for some flowers to be prepared). They gave us little to no explanation on how the resort was laid out or what to do for 1 hour. They could have at least offered us some water or a coffee. This did not start our stay on the best of fronts. The shower and toilets were outside in mosquito fested jungle!

The location was definitely top notch, the long beach and the simplicity of it. Also the little room in front of the beach wasn’t bad.

I found the right word to describe it:Abandoned….Yes this is an abandoned resort.Old, left behind, beach dirty at the point to be dangerous to walk over; full of nails and spikes broken woods, besides the plastics bottles that none of them when cleaning “their” private beach fare to collect. Every morning I have to collect them myself to see a clean spot and not get disappointed to be there.Construction all over, I mean really? Starts at any time of the day without respecting these who are paying or sleeping yet.Flies and mosquitoes ?? OMG…. You can’t even sit or rest properly outside without be eaten by flies or mosquitoes, I presume because they don’t dispose their composte properly, in fact the end of that beach close to a 5* star hotel nothing. You have cats all over your breakfast eating the food of guests directly from the table (left over) but without bothering other people still eating. Waiter/was completely ignored them. Tables and floor constantly dirty, they don’t even clean afterwards, not even the floor. I have seen same napkins, butter box, etc etc The whole property is run on his own, no senior around to check what going on, I mean. A bit of decency that all I am asking. What I m surprise of how you booking.com, can allow these property to be in your wed site and sell them to paying guest. It’s a real shame. Potentially this space could be something extremely nice but again, terrible. You can also see toilette next to the beach, I mean seriously, I mTalking about an actual wc probably placed outside one of the bungalow while no space ??? I got many pictures about this resort. Someone must report this, they should be closed. This is a scam, you are responsible as much as them if you helping them to get booked.Ps: i m not Talking about housekeeping, front office, the actual open toilette in room (disgusting). I will Leave that to another person who has more time than me right now.

    3DeviPosted on: 10-3-2023

    One and only, the view.

The toilet couldn't flush when we just entered the room. Next day they cleaned the room but forget to give us new towels. Breakfast meals have no labels, foreigners have difficulty in understanding the food served. They said we can order a car to the city and vice versa, but when we contacted them for a pick up, no reply at all. Apart from the view, everything else is in dire need of improvement.

The beach is beautiful and best sunsets

Had to move rooms because of bugs in the beds and staff were difficult during this process a bit.

    7ChristophePosted on: 8-31-2023

Best beach front hotel. Newer beach villas are suitable. And good value.Good restaurant.Nice pools.15min taxi to Bajo is practical for dinner / shopping.

The older beach villas are wooden and have cracks in walls letting in mosquitoes. To avoid, especially with outdoor toilets/shower.

    8FélipePosted on: 8-12-2023

The location is fabulous. The villas are right on the beach, bed is confy. Can rent kayak and snorkel mask.

The toilet was outside for the villa.

Great view of the sunset, and a nice beach.Nice snorkling spot just off the beach.Very friendly and helpful staff. Sometime language was an obstacle, but in the end it always worked out.

Beach was unfortunately littered with garbage and plastic. Same goes for parts of the the resort.Location is a bit remote.
