    • Amazing sea, coral reef, snorkling experience. Food is fabulous, staff is very helpful - special thanks to Evalina who served us in the restaurant. Had a great time with family. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy peace and beauty of nature.

    Cons -

    • Plastic strawsMore vegan options needed on the menu
    • It would be great to have more vegetarian and vegan options. But the chef did create something for us each night which we appreciated

The ease of snorkelling direct from the beach whenever we wanted. The sunset bar. The restaurant, excellent choice of meals at very reasonable prices. The excellent staff, shout out to Robert - he was away for a day and service standards slipped (forgot our orders twice!), very friendly and helpful. The beach cleaning, the snorkelling equipment from Aquma, pickup and drop off including breakfast via Sudamala Komodo when we arrived on an early flight. Our beach bungalow, good shower, lots of space, balcony. Lots of loungers on beach and sofas. Lots , we were there for Five days very relaxing. The snorkelling and Komodo dragon trip with Aquma was excellent - good fast boat, excellent equipment, good lunch, excellent guide - well done Arfandy and your ever present staff member in the office.

Being really picky could do more on flexibility of transfers to match flight times and more information and help on booking trips. The Aquma trip was excellent to Komodo, Padar, and Snorkelling but if we'd been there for less days it would have been much harder to arrange. At the moment you must book in advance or it's not guaranteed and could be extremely disappointing or very expensive to do the must sees. Aquma need to expand range, the staff on resort need to be more informed, or you need an alternative supplier. Also a kettle in room would be good or make tea/coffee available earlier in the restaurant. The no shoes rule in the restaurant toilet is incomprehensible and stupid. If you're going to take your shoes off in the restaurant, fine, but the last thing one wants to do is walk through the toilet in bare feet - madness! Also no internet in rooms means everyone has to bring their online admin to the restaurant and bar - just extend it to the bungalows.Overall still excellent despite these niggles, but room for improvement to 11/10.

The room cleanness, the property is so nice the employees are so polite, friendly, and welcoming and the food is good. My husband and I are very happy to stay in this place and we are planning to come back soon.

What I didn’t like was the mosquito bite in the Beach Bungalow island I got bitten by mosquito bites big time

    Location, clean, staff

Pricey food , some trash in ocean

    10ElizabethPosted on: 3-11-2025

Everything. The beach front rooms are spacious and so comfortable. The setting is pure magic - the snorkelling from the beach is brilliant with a great reef just a few metres out. The restaurant is excellent with great food for every meal in a beautiful setting. Most of all the staff are brilliant. We didn't want to leave.

It's nothing to do with the resort and just an unfortunate situation with the currents but there can be a fair amount of plastic on the beach. That's the case across Indonesia but the staff do a great job to clean it up every single day.

Great location. Wonderful staff. Great snorkel trip.

The resort was on a beautiful beach with access to the coral reef for so from the beach or from the dock. The coral reef was amazing, beautiful coral and lots of diverse sea creatures. yes, Nemos of all sizes, turtles and many other tropical fish. Imagine being in your own aquarium everyday for as long as you want. Access was easy for kids and seniors alike.

This place is amazing! Beautiful little bungalows along a white, clean private beach with possibility to snorkel right from the shore. We particularly loved their "house-reef" and surrounding natural beauty - exceptional. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. I was particularly impressed with the kindness and efficiency of the staff - a big bravo to them! The bungalow had everything we needed with a cute little open-air bathroom. Bedding was great. Whereas I was really happy with my choice of food at lunch and dinner, my partner's choices did not enchant him as much - the manager listened very carefully to this and promised improvements will be made. To stay at this wonderful little paradise on earth is a great privilege and I would definitely return!

My partner did not appreciate lunch/dinner particularly...

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The beach was beautiful with amazing views onto the neighbouring islands. The beach-villa was incredible!!! Very tastefully furnished, with carpets and "antiques" - the room had an open adjacent lounge and eating-section, also very beautiful and comfortable. Pure luxury! The bathroom was amazing - huge and lots of style. This may well be the most beautiful and comfortable holiday-home we've ever had. Top rating also for the gardens, the pool and the lovely veranda.

The staff were really kind and helpful, but seeing in rainy season there were not so many guests, they seemed largely over numbered... too much attention was given to us in the restaurant: one waiter after another came to ask if we needed anything else and we were attributed a private butler, who was a really lovely person, but didn't really know how he could be of help, seeing we didn't need such a service. On the other hand, the room wasn't made up in the morning and on one evening turn-down service didn't make it either.. I think some departments were over-staffed and others understaffed.. a question of management organisation? I say all this not to criticise our lovely stay there, but just to give some feed-back..

Service from the team was really great. Very attentive.

Everything is great but the food tasted very average. No room wifi also a bit uncomfortable.

    9MarcoPosted on: 2-3-2025

The hotel Staff always ready to help. Breakfast was fine and food on the menu available was with enough choses for a 5 day stay. The bungalows are comfortable but I suggest to get the raised Premium Beach Bungalow with the terrace, lovey view. great place for a relaxed stay.

The sunset Bar is a bit limited due to the amount mosquitos ! Hotel should try to do something but the view is worth a few bites !

The private beach. A lot to see under the water. Friendly staff.

Food options were lovely as we're the drinks. Staff were very friendly. Perfect location for snorkelling or doing absolutely nothing except relax

    8BonleoPosted on: 11-15-2024

good snorkeling area at jetty, good diving program, friendly and helpful staffs.

there's only 1 restaurant and the food isn't great. Small portion, inconsistent taste, overall oily and expensive.

    9ArminPosted on: 10-11-2024

The staff were very attentive and would help with everything. The best was coming back from an early kayak tour to a breakfast ready and served fresh to your liking and order. The resort is very well kept and the sunset lookout is a fantastic spot and place to hang out.

The price of the meals are high with the hotel restaurant the only place to get food. But this is just simply something to budget for better next time. The food was amazing for what we paid.

The location was fantastic. A very luxurious stay in the new bungalow. We loved everything and the staff are so lovely and helpful.

    10LucasPosted on: 10-7-2024

Absolutely stunning resort with amazing snorkeling opportunities right in front of your bungalow and wonderful, considerate staff ?

    9KristinaPosted on: 10-6-2024

The bungalows are nice, but some are not on the ground, but higher on poles. With a fantastic view, but you need to use stairs all the time. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The only option to eat is their restaurant with really high prices. The house reef is good, but already has bleached spots. The biggest dissapointment was about the choice of trips from them! They obly suggested to do Komodo itinerary (the traditional one with pink beach), or diving trip and they did not allow snorkellers to join! They also offered the private trip for a fortune! So I ended up organising the boat from Labuan Bajo myself.. I highly recommend to find some other boat options for the guests.
