Um maybe the pool?

At 6am staff came on our private balcony while I was in front of the sliding glass door not dress. It was incredibly unprofessional and I received nothing, not even an apology. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. The sheets were ripped and not very clean. Need I go on? Oh and the elevator smelled like garbage.

Second time staying here. Great staff! Always ensured we had everything we needed. Great location.

Partially good view. A new hotel blocks parts of the view. Driver and Staff was great!!

WiFi was at best extremely slow, sometimes non existent

One half of the view was lovely, but the actual sunset view was unfortunately gone due to a mega hotel being built & blocking the view. The room was big. Free airport shuttle.

The bathroom was gross. The shower curtain was dirty & the sink + bide leaked. The building being built was super loud in the day & night.If you have any sort of struggles climbing stairs, I would not recommend staying here due to the steep stairs getting in. The customer service wasn't great.

There was no electric kettle in the room, no TV and there is construction going on right in front of the window

The pool is good, the cafe is nice, the balcony is nice, the swing is nice

There is not any escape route to the bottom for the fifth and the sixth floor

Location. Quite at night when work is done in the construction site. No mosks or nightclubs that make noise. Good view. Good room.

Water pressure and wifi depends on the floor it seems. 5th floor we had less water pressure and WiFi connection and floor 2 was better.

Construction was happening during our visit - looks like a hotel is going up to the left of the main view photos posted. We were in room 1 and this didn’t affect the view much. The water was a little off (toilet, shower and sink) with a smell and color. Hotel is too far to walk to anything & no sidewalks in the area.

Incredible view! My appartement was on level 3, the view was mind blowing, the room was spacious. The restaurant has good food and is cheap

The elevator is very small and slow. There are construction work in front but I still managed to sleep well. They stopped work during night time.

An okay spot for a one-night stay before heading to Komodo, but overall it feels like the hotel has aged and hasn’t been updated in a while. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and while the view is nice, it’s partly blocked by a large construction site right in front. The work starts early (around 6–7am) and goes on until the evening, and since the windows aren’t well insulated you can hear everything. They did offer us complimentary breakfast to make up for it, which was appreciated, but I’m not sure the price matches the experience. You can probably find something better if you’re willing to pay a bit more.

Family room quite confortable. Nice hotel and very convenient for moving to the airport (Free shuttle to airport). Swimming pool to refresh and a nice view for sunset. I recommend this hotel for last night prior departure to airport.

A construction is under progress just in front of them... so the view is not anymore an attraction point.

The view from the room is amazing. Top! The swimming pool and resto in 6th floor are great. Super kind staff. Breakfast was also quite good. And it has an elevator. Thats a big plus. Room was huge and confortable.

The doors are very thin and you hear the elevator constantly. The mechanism from the terrace doors were damaged and very difficult to operate. Toilet hot water could be improved.

There's a shuttle from the airport to hotel which is super convenient! The food at the hotel restaurant is so good and affordable & pair it with the view, insane!!! my room was so spacious and the heater works totally fine. It's a bit far from the centre but LBJ is small, rent a scooter and you will be in the centre in 6 mins. The sunset from my balcony remained one of the best memories I ever had.

The TV is too far from the bed.

The hotel is located on a hill with the best sunset view in the entire South Asia. The staff is very helpful and kind.

It’s getting outdated, you can see it might require a small renovation

There was building work going on in front of the hotel but I guess that’s no fault of sunset hill

The staff was extremely helpful. Unfortunately I had finally got to take a holiday and was excited to get there and relax by the pool however it was under construction and it should have been explained before booking. It was major construction, not just something simple like maintenance. That would have been nice to know prior to booking. Again, the Staff were absolutely helpful and professional.

The major construction going on directly in front of the hotel. They are currently in the process of building a Crown Plaza directly in front of Sunset Hill. Huge crains and a major job. If you are going with the intentions of relaxing you might take precautions that the major development happening directly in front of the hotel which will eventually block all of the views that they currently have which are absolutely amazing.

This hotel has the perfect view for sunset. It's really beautiful just to sit on the balcony and look at the ocean view.Really recommended for budget hotel.

The hotel is outdated. The glass balcony in our room was broken, and they only fixed it with tape. I don't feel safe because I have a small child with me. The curtain is also very old and should be replaced. The safety box is not wall-mounted, so anyone could take it.

The view is great, though they are constructing a building in front of this hotel, so it light change soon.

No water pressure, no hot water (or burning hot, no middle). Dirty, even for Indonesian standards. Worms everywhere, even falling off the ceiling. Half the good we ate from the restaurant smelled like naphthalene. Just stay away, or go knowing what you get.

The location of the hotel is a disaster. According to the information on Booking.com, it is 350 meters from the sea and 1km from the city. However, to actually reach the sea or city, you need to drive 10 minutes by motor.During our 8-day stay, the internet worked for only a few hours in total. When we realized that the hotel was not accurately described on Booking.com, we wanted to cancel our stay, but the hotel refused, so we had to stay.There is no spa in the hotel. The gym is a joke – the equipment looks like it is 40 years old and using it could be dangerous.When you are sitting on the toilet, worms fall on your head. The balcony has a good view of the sea, but there is a construction site working until 10 PM every day in the foreground.Additionally, you won't want to sit on the old bean bags. The sink is clogged. There is no elevator from the parking to the reception, only very steep stairs.Breakfast is not included and is awful. Airport transfer is also not included in the price.There are much better and cheaper hotels closer to the city (driving time) directly on the beach with better and cleaner rooms, breakfast, and airport transfer included, such as Luwansa or Puri Sari.
