Hotel Golden Gateway

Hotel was too far from the centre of the city, where VIT is located , and i had gone for my daughters admission.

Poor service, no restaurant, no doorbell, did not get to know room tariff until check-out time

Good maintenance and nearness to Amman temple

Wash basin in the bathroom

Neat and clean hotel. Situated next to the Golden temple. Friendly and helpful staff, ample parking. Great hotel to stay in Vellore

Location was perfect. Very close to golden temple.

Bathroom was not clean.

Extremely courteous staff. They gave early checkin for my parents and late check out, guided them on the Temple timings and mode of transport

Everything was good

Calm place

Facilities in the room, nobody picking up phone in the reception, we have to go personally to ask for everything, no proper restaurant inside the hotel premises

The first approach of the counter person was good.I liked the cleanliness of the room at first instance. Hot water was available at all times, lighting in the room was fine.Location also was fine

But in late night,I was not able to sleep comfortably as the cot was making unbearable noises and itching due to non cleanliness of the bed sheet provided. Horrible experience. Also I understood that the counter person was not interested in settling the bills of the customer and paying the balance amount to them.

Big rooms with good view Good food quality Enough parkingVery close to the golden temple

NA

room size, parking

no kettle, tea bags etc., in House restaurant not there , in house dining not there, no complimentary water bottles, no response from reception if you call them before 7am. had to go out to next shop outside the campus for complementary breakfast. not worth for the money.

Breakfast was very good, had it served to the room

Since I was visiting Vellore, Booking.com, could have mentioned the location before booking the hotel.

Clean property with spacious rooms. Good for a basic stay within walking distance of the Golden temple. Breakfast served was tasty too and staff was friendly :)

I was locked in my bathroom for almost an hour until rescued by my parents in adjoining room. The bathroom door knob from inside broke and caused this extremely unsafe and dangerous situation. Hopefully the staff will make sure this does not happen again ; especially for solo travellers can be very dangerous.

Proximity to the place of interest.

No restaurant within the hotel premises. Not too many options available for lunch or dinner. Limited breakfast options.Ants in the room / bed so we had to change the room.

Huge or Spacious rooms. Excellent staff and services. The premise was super clean.

it is very close to the temple. Breakfast is really good.

should have internet service. we were provided with dongle which did nt work sometimes.

Did not avail the breakfast though it as offered. Room was quiet, clean and large enough

No restaurant option

Clean and neat . Awesome atmosphere mear the hotel

Water kettle should be available to have warm water for kids. There was no restaurant to have food in hotel.

Walkable distance to golden temple.

I did not get morning breakfast.
