Room size and services really worth the price we paid. Nice swimming pool and good breakfast. Peaceful environment and friendly staffs.

Bathroom was a bit dirty and the location is convenient for people with private car but not for people who would like stay a walking distance from Vangvieng central area.

a lot of things were unfinished. nails poking out, doors wouldn’t fit right in the frame, the pool was dirty. not good WiFi at all

Some of the in room appliances don't work (Safe, Fridge). No Elevator.If your room is on the third floor and you have luggage. It would be difficult to get up there

FAKE REVIEWS on Booking & Google. Read the poor reviews and maybe you'll get a better idea of the place. Place itself is very far from town and not much nearby at all. They told us our room was not available due to renovation and then proceeded to upcharge us for the new room! But we never saw ANY renovation/construction. Scammed??Felt VERY sketchy, weird vibes, noisy, felt unsafe, left early!

I really like the view, the staff are friendly and help us a lot for renting motorbike and tuk tuk. The room is big enough for 5 people. The swimming pool also great with the view of the mountain. I have a great time to stay there for 2 nights.

No housekeeping while you are staying in the room.Breakfast was not good.If you buy drinks or snacks from their reception, the Laotian staff will sell it to you for one price, and the African lady will charge you more as nothing is priced.Do not get your laundry done there they will charge you three time what it should be.There are many hotel,'s in Vang Vieng I would not recommend this one.

Good pool.

1. Crockery and kettle provided in room, no tea or coffee. 2. Had to climb up two steps and then step down 2.5 feet in to Bath just to take a shower on a very slippery dangerous surface. 3. Breakfast poor, much of the spread appeared to be the previous nights leftovers although egg station ok. 4. No toaster at breakfast just a grill in an old microwave oven. Took 8 minutes to do toast and on completion it was dry and brittle. If there had been several people wanting toast there would have been a huge wait. We didnt bother eating breakfast there again as it was so poor. 5. Tried to explain this to person I thought was the manager, a non Laotian lady of African descent and was met with indifference, had to question directly if she was actually listening when I tried to explain my point. A message tgat i also sent was at least acknowledged 6. Same lady was generally rude and abrupt, no please or thankyou. 7. Same lady would sit around in reception area, shoes off, feet on furniture (against Lao etiquette) on her phone. Other staff displayed similar actions. 8. Sat by pool one afternoon and it started raining empty beer cans on to the concrete near my chair.. Transpired that cleaners would throw the cans (from third floor rooms) down to poolside area to collect later on. They were still there 3 hrs later and ignored by another reception employee who walked straight past them. 9. Litter around pool area ignored by staff. 10. Floor area around pool very slippery. 11. On arrival, despite booking months in advance told our room not available and would have to change after 1 night. We said (to same generally unhelpful lady) this was not acceptable and had to accept a room of less quality for our stay although still charged same price. 12. Insufficient amount of pool loungers and no cushions. Tragically this could be a decent hotel with some physical improvement but much of its failings are down to poor management and staff attitude.

View of the mountains from the 2nd floor balconies is nice. The fresh cooked breakfast options (pho, pancakes and eggs) were decent, but slow. The rest of breakfast is a disaster, especially the coffee

We were relieved to leave…- They gave the room we booked away to someone else. Being the first day of Chinese New Year it was impossible to book anywhere else last minute, so we were stuck there- After the first two nights in the wrong room (with a small discount), we were able to shift to the junior suite we had booked but the photos of this room are totally misleading: they show a small dining table with chairs, also a chair at the desk area. We booked this room for the desk to work at. But our room has none of that furniture it’s just a massive empty space with two broken chairs- Rooms smell musty and damp- Shower is right next to the toilet, with no barrier. The entire bathroom floor is always wet, also very slippery while showering, dangerous- Poor cleaning- bathroom left wet and body shampoo empty and never refilled . They took the hand towels and never replaced them. They even tossed the hotel provided flip flops (which we use for the wet bathroom) into a pile with our shoes by the door- The water completely stopped for a whole day! We were told “20 minutes wait”, but it took almost an hour to restart and then it stopped again for the entire afternoon. Not able to shower, brush teeth, wash hands or flush toilet for the day- Room safe does not work (told reception and was informed they are ALL broken)- Coffee cups and jug in rooms, but no coffee/tea provided- Garden area by the pool should be nice, but other guests hang all their wet laundry from the trees, it’s like you are staying in a housing complex- Staff are not friendly and anything you ask feels like an inconvenience to them- Location far from town (20-25 minutes walk)- Rented a bike through the hotel for one day, very empty gas tank and dodgy brakes and suspension- Booking.com quotes in USD and says our card will be charged in advance by the hotel - in reality they charge when you are there and add a 3% credit card surcharge

Clean pool and nice view on mountains

Very disorganized and not all the team was helpful and nice. When arriving the room I booked was given so had to sleep with other building and other standard.

Breakfast was dreadful, stale chips! Re cooked fried eggs, only just warm coffee, . Breakfast staff were not friendly.

One day the staff forgot to make the room. Every evening loud music coming from a building outside until 10PM -11PM. We asked the staff to make a reservation for the train to Luangprabang but they did not make it and when we arrived to the railway station no place in the train and we had to take a van to there which was very expensive. ???

This hotel is beautiful. It will offer you a beautiful view on the mountain and you will see the hot air balloon. Beautiful landscape. One of the best I ever seen. The room were good and clean

A large beautiful area. The view of the mountains is great!! Air balloons can be seen from the balcony.

The room was not ready. There is no shower, there is no pipe for the sink, the outlet does not work in the kettle (I attach a photo).

We booked 2 suites and another twin room. My friend was shown her suite, only to find that it is identical to the twin room.At check-in, our dustbins in 3 different rooms were not emptied from the previous customers.My wash basin in the suite was leaking and the shower head has dropped off.Breakfast : food and drinks were cold.

Lovely hotel African lady on reception really pleasant. Lovely shower. Beautiful pool with stunning mountain view. Would definitely come back

The view was beautiful.

They allow people to party by the pool until 1:00 am with loud music. They don't have noise policy and if they do they didn't enforce it. Not a place for family.

Nice big room, big pool. Variety of breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Far enough from town but within walking distance. Great spot.
