Location was convenient and close to the train station. Rooms were clean but very sparse. Front desk staff were very helpful and nice. Public/private onsen was so-so/okay and clean enough.
In general, the hotel is very old and outdated. The breakfast was very chaotic, too busy, and unenjoyable as a result. We probably wouldn't stay at the hotel again.

We had four adults in a huge room that was half Japanese style and half western style. Worked out great. Staff came each evening and prepared the Japanese style mats which were very comfortable. We enjoyed the onsen. Very convenient. Hotel is close to the train station and restaurants. Very walkable location.AND the breakfast buffet was outstanding! You don't want to miss it. There was traditional western breakfast along with Japanese/Asian selections.
This place exceeded my expectations.
Centrally located just across the train station. Loved the private onsen, and service from check-in to check-out was very efficient. We also enjoyed an excellent kaiseki dinner. The room was a half-Western, half-Japanese style—very clean and newly renovated. A nice touch was the yukata provided to wear around the hotel, which I absolutely loved.
Location is the most convenient in Hokane, right across the bridge from train station.
It would be nice if the relaxation area by the onsen stayed open longer, as a staff member asked everyone to leave at 11:00 pm.

We really had a great experience. The room was a good size and clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was great and very close to train station. Buffet breakfast extensive and excellent. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Private onsen was great.

The breakfast was very good and abundant. The rooms were big and clean, with a great view. The public and private onsens were very nice.
The service was wonderful. Room size was good. Breakfast buffet served both western and Japanese food with many choices. The food was well prepared and wonderful. Wish I would stayed longer.

This was one of the most dated hotels I have ever stayed at, at this price point. The restaurant food was soo incredibly boring and soul less. The energy of the space is the same as the show Severance, looks like nothing has been updated. We came down for the complimenatry breakfast but it was full of tourists not staying at the hotel, horrible system. We left early as this was not even close the level of service and style for the price point. This is a star hotel not worth more than $200USD/night. We left early and they gave us no discount. I would never recommend any one stay here. Truly terrible.
