Kumbhalgarh Forest Retreat

The property has a great location and has greenery all around. It gives a great view of the Lakhela lake and the greenery means that there are many types of birds around, making the view from the balcony absolutely delightful. The food is also great. It is a great place to stay and an absolute delight for nature lovers.

There wasn't a shaving kit available. That was the only downside.

Be warned that nearby hotels hold wedding ceremonies (there was 2 in the 2 days we were there) and they play VERY LOUD music and DJ from 10am- 2am!! This is not the fault of this hotel, just a warning to anyone looking for peace and quiet! The food (and beer... 500 rupees per can!) is expensive here and they add on tax and service charge afterwards so it all adds up!

The property is surrounded by lush green plants. Very peaceful and comfortable. The food is very delicious and staff is very humble. Room size is very large and the view is excellent from the room.

The attractive was the view, location. The break fast was beyond expectations. Staffs are really helpful.

Location and room facing the lake and mountain.

Steep climb down and climbing up to reach the room. Not for the senior citizens.Also loud music and dance through the night from an adjacent resort. Monkeys can enter the room if one leaves the door open !!

The location is good

There were rats in the room during night and lot of noise because of them. No full proof solution done for rats. Room cleaning staff was not up to the mark , had to remind again for cleaning properly.

The location & view is very good.Food is good..rooms are very spacious.

I only like the location of hotel & winter atmosphere.

The upper management staff is not good they are just there to take money only, they did not show the curtsy to explain in details regarding lunch dinner brkfast timings, amenities etc. Only Ishwar bhai the person who work in restaurant was good, the person Vinod is not good, he took money from us extra 250 rs. I loved the resort and it's setting near dam. We saw some beautiful birds on the trees in the resort.

Rooms were stuffy, like smell you get when it has been closed for so long. Otherwise everything was great, service and food.

No wifi provided. Room was not cleaned and bathroom too. Charged 2000 rs for extra 2-3 hours. They talk sweet but not professional. Breakfast is limited and in this high price you can get lots of varieties and they have non veg menu but don't cook in their kitchen and manage from outside which is super expensive in the menu and tasteless yoo

Just location is good property is nice but staff is very poor and harsh , they are literally arguing with the guest need to improve a lot.

It is serene and peaceful. property is clean. staff is polite. there is a lot of green around. rooms are large. it’s not like another typical resort.

One of the best place to stay in Kumbhalgarh with excellent view of the lake and right in middle of lush green surroundings. Must stay place

Beside the hotel one can chill at balcony gazing mountain straight at back, and the swimming pool, games sitting area were awesome. Buffet breakfast was nice.

The room AC wasn't fixed up, slept whole night at hot room temperature and not even get any concession, they charged full rent for that room.

The Room had good view with balcony facing the lake. Check-in and checkout was easy. Friendly staff.

Limited Parking Facility. Limited Hot water for shower due to small tank capacity geyser. Unstable electricity, constant papercuts.
