Ghanerao Royal Castle Ranakpur

1. Heritage feel. You will feel as if you are actually staying in 500 yrs old property.2. Staff was very supportive and cordial.3. Food served was good.4. Near to Ranakpur and Jodhpur.

1. Toilets were not at all clean. There were stains all around the toilet.2. Bedsheets were not clean.3. Lights were too dim for a family stay.4. Little stinking problem in backside room5. They don't have set menu for food. They prepare fresh food then and there, which create problems at the time of billing.

location gud.. Rooms gud.. Peacefull , food is also ok, no of staff is less but behavior was gud..

It was pleasure Staying in Ghanerao Royal Castle. Ghanerao is an off beat destination for nature lovers. Awesome place for a wildlife enthusiast.We had a leopard Safari and it was our most exciting Safari ever. The Safari guide expert had a great knowledge about Safari and had put lots of effort to make the experience memorable.Overall the experience was awesome

A trip to Ghanerao Royal Castle is incomplete without the crocodile and bird watching Safari. It was a thrilling and adventure experience.Also, the team arranged high tea for us after the adventure ride. The dinner at the night was delicious homely cooked with rajasthani flavors.We would like to visit again and next time with a long trip.

The castle itself is a very interesting building with lots of history. Our room was actually quite nice and clean (although not everybody would have been happy with climbing so many steps to reach it)

My reservation with Booking.com was confirmed and payment guaranteed as I had provided my creditcard details. However the hotel insisted I would send my creditcard details to a third party site, which I didn't want to do from a hotel computer. I explained to them that it wasn't possible to transfer any money ahead of my arrival as it was Christmas Holidays in Europe. I reminded them that my payment was guaranteed through Booking.com so they were able to ensure advance payment but instead of sending a reply they flatly cancelled my booking! I made another booking. On arrival the hotel was also uncooperative. They told me that they never received anything from Booking.com. Then they told me that the room I had booked was not available but finally I got a room. A notice in the room boasted about wonderful organic food. However, the food quality in Ghanerao Castle was so appalling that I decided to take a look at their kitchen. Please see my pictures and decide for yourself if you want to enjoy ameal there. I also saw them poor left over coffee from cups from other guests poor back into the coffee pot. The lack of hygiene is a health hazard.

It was really a great weekend in Ghanerao Royal Castle. The staff was very supportive and guided us in very best way.The swimming pool area is quite relaxing, even though it is a heritage hotel it was very well maintained with neat and clean rooms.The food was very delicious and we would surely visit again and also it is highly recommend.

Horrible experience, Room and bathroom was in very unhygienic condition, Blanket and mattress was stinging like hell...Regulator of fan was not available. intercom not available. when we reach no one was there to attend us, we have to open the door by our own, it took 20-25 minutes to find someone for checkin... we were planned for 2 nights but our kids and even us not able to sleep for the first night itself hence we checkout very next day.... Owner of property has considered our point of early checkout and orally gave the commitment of refunding for the next days payment done.... But now no one is entertaining the issue of refund. all are saying that due to policy refund is not possible (inspite of OWNERS commitment at the time of checkout)

Nothing to like... Initially we like the approach and decent attitude of OWNER'S, as he committed the refund for second day and improving the service, But refund has not processed...and god knows about service and other things.
