Clean and comfortable resort in quiet end of Lonely Beach.

At check in we were greeted by the staff with a welcome drink and escorted to our room- where they kindly provide you with flip flops, a beach bag, and nice robes for your stay. Complimentary water was provided on a daily basis and the room was very spacious with a balcony which had a great view. The bed was very comfortable and really big, with the pillows being not so comfortable for our personal likings. The room was very clean, and wifi was good. Being a guest in this hotel, you almost felt like that each guest has there own house/apartment- everyone had there privacy- the rooms which have pools being even more secluded from the rest. I would highly recommend this stay for a couple that just wants to relax in Koh Chang.In walking distance there are nice food and massage options and with a 15 min walk you can reach Lonely beach which is a nice beach to spend your day or watch the sunset. The beach at the hotel is not a sandy beach, but the hotel has a spectacular view just to sit and relax by the pool to enjoy the sea-side view. I must say the pool offers a breathtaking view, which is probably a reason enough to book your stay at this hotel.The staff was always very polite and welcome, when asked they provided us with some tour options for our stay and arranged for a taxi/transportation back to the airport upon our return. Also a nice note is that they have a happy hour at the bar, which was a nice incentive to stay at the hotel relax at the pool drinking an alcoholic drink or mocktail.

Dinner and massage are much more expensive than the local prices, we ended up trying both in close proximity of the hotel- found great options. Since it is complicated to arrive at the island, it would had been great if the service offered for our departure was offered for our arrival- again a note to the hotel if you could send this as welcome message to your guests. The furniture at the room does look a bit worn down, does need a small refurbishment - although it was in an okay condition for our stay. Also a small note you need to add, netflix is offered but without an account- which one can not log into their personal account anymore in most cases. It would had been easier for the hotel to create an account and leave it logged in, as most places do nowadays. Breakfast was moderate, you are offered a la cart options to choose two dishes (which is a bit excess I would say), which were okay but not great. If we would had stayed more than 3 days, I believe we would had probably tried another brunch option near by. Having said the above, these are all minor issues which did not affect our excellent stay in Koh Chang. I wish we could had stayed longer! <3

Lovely well equipped villa with a private pool which include great West facing water-views in Lonely Beach.Only a short stroll to many cheap dining and bar options.

There was no sun shade/umbrella in V9 to sit under in the heat of the day. They could add small privacy dividers to the existing hedges to block off view to neighbors whilst they are in there pool area.

We all agreed (two couples) that this was our favorite of the six hotels we stayed in, during our three week stay in Thailand. The Seaview villas with pool were well designed and very comfortable. The private pool was surprisingly large, with comfortable loungers and bean bag style cushions, to watch the stunning sunsets. The breakfasts were great, imaginative and generously sized, and the staff were always smiling and helpful.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The location has a stunning view, especially when you book one of the pool villas. The villa itself has everything you need and was very clean. Very good breakfast options to choose from. Scooter rental is available as well. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

For us the bed was little too hard, we personally prefer a bid softer beds.

The hotel is amazing - beautiful territory, clean and well equipped rooms, great pool with a sunset view. The staff are very attentive and friendly, they helped us with any questions we had and in general took great care of us as guests. There is no access to the sea (to swim) directly at the hotel but that was really not a problem - lonely beach is just 10 minutes walking distance through the village. Overall - amazing stay.

The only minor improvement would be to introduce more meatless/vegetarian options for breakfast. There were some but not as much.

The villa is beautiful, with a gorgeous view and private pool. Its location to the fun roam at lonely beach is great, so it offers a little serenity from the nightlife this town has on offer. The staff are incredibly helpful! Na stood out as caring and helpful, but they really were all great! Very nice breakfast with personal service.

The blinds don’t block out the morning sun, so light comes in as soon as the sun is up. Not a big problem, but worth mentioning.As everyone has mentioned, the cost of food is expensive and this is excessive compared to the rest of the area. The drinks are also pricey, however they offer a happy hour at sunset, which works out to be very good value for money!

Pool villas, breakfast, quiet and some nearby good restaurants such as the magic garden. Beds were firm - ok for us but I can see why some people might find them too hard

Overlooking the sea but no beach.

The resort was exactly as advertised and felt superior, bungalow with private pool was amazing, the view is just great, staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful

Our bungalow was apparently the only one without an outdoor sunshade, dinner prices are very high compared to restaurants in the village, so very few people choose to have dinner here

The sea side villa with pool has an amazing view and is very luxurious. The staff is very friendly.

The staff was extremely friendly and service minded, also by Thai standards. The rooms are beautiful, clean and luxurious.

Unfortunately there's 2 downsides to this hotel. The villas have very little shade during the daytime, so often we ended up in the villa with the shades down in the afternoon, not optimal, when you pay extra to have a seeview villa. Secund is the restaurant. We didn't see anyone eat there during our 5 days stay (other than breakfast). It's a shame when the staff there is so great.The problem is, that the prices are 4 times the price of the same meal in restaurants just down the street. I don't mind paying extra if the quality is there after. But the one meal we had there were a bit disappointing...

On site food is very expensive. If they lowered it to what outside restaurants sell for they would get a lot more business
