I love the location to lonely beach bars. The lonely beach was wonderful in that it was not overcrowded or too loud. Additionally, the beach sand was soft and the view amazing.

Beds were hard as stone. The AC blew cold air, but the directional vent was broken and when asked to fix it they didn't. The room was old, broken doors, ac & toilet, stains on the toilet seat (nasty). Food at the restaurant was slow and wife received her 15min before mine...not very tasty either (we didn't eat there again after this).

The facilities are very comfortable, nice and well decorated. This location on a very beautiful beach. We spent a new year at the hotel, they made sure it was a beautiful celebration. We had a dinner show on the beach. The food was buffet with non-alcoholic drinks included, traditional Thai dance show and fire show on the beach. And of course, fireworks show after the countdown of the new year. Everything was great.

Nature, sea, location, quietness

Beautiful location. Some of the staff very friendly. Rooms always clean.

Most of the staff unfriendly. Beds are hard. No water pressure in the shower. Staff was lying about refund of cancelled nights. 7 nights more than enough for the whole island.

Private pool had no pump or filter system in operation very dilapidated villaGenerally requires major refurbishment and repairs across hotel but this is reflected in the cheapest price in area

Hotel run down in parts needs lots of money spending on it to get it up to a good standard we had pool villa which was in need of repairs the best thing about the hotel is the location on a beautiful beach

After we moved from the rundown room, they moved us to an amazing room. Big, clean, spacious, with comfy bed and pillows, big tiled terrace and beautiful, modern bathroom. The views were amazing, and it was so private and close to everything. The beach was absolutely amazing, with no rocks on the surface, and plenty of private areas to relax. We stayed at different locations on the island and this place was hands-on the best. We had to pay extra for this room, but the price was not bad, and worth every cent.The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the food and drink prices were very reasonable in comparison to some of the other areas on the island.I will be back for sure next year.

We booked a 'standard seaview room'. When we walked into the room we were very dissapointed. It was dirty, there was no place to hang our clothes, there was a opening in the door where mosquitos could get in, the bathroom faucette and sink was literally loose, the shower rail was broken and just lying on the floor, the bed was so hard and only had two pillows, and the wood on the floor was coming apart. We were not impressed, so we went to reception and asked to be moved to another room. Luckily they could move us the next day. The new room was amazing and the extra money we paid per night was really worth it.

Fantastic location right on lonely beach,we booked the old buildings but upgraded to the new buildings on the 2nd day. Restaurant food was really good. Breakfast was included but options could of been better,for the western breakfast only had egg station,no beans no bacon etc and no pastries.

Location is perfect! Koh Chang is my favourite island in Thailand and Lonely beach is the best beach in Koh Chang! The apartment was right on the beach and the view to the sea and beach was just great. But, we traveled with friends and they got a room far from us, looking at the backyard of the bar next to the hotel. Their room was old and dark and looking at garbage. So the rooms and the views are quite different there. Breakfast was great, a lot of different options and the staff at the restaurant was great, best staff worked at the restaurant. The beach is great. There are good restaurants next to the hotel in the beach and the village is also near.

It was a bit dated, as I mentioned, some rooms are not renovated and they are quite dark and old. There were a lot of ants in the rooms. Massages were good but you can have better ones at the beach. It was hard to pay with card at the bar / restaurant and you couldnt bill it to the room, no service at the pool. these are minor negative aspect that didnt really bother but there are thing to improve. In the pool area maybe more showers - coming from the beach would have been nice to wash legs from sand etc.

Bedroom and bathroom is nice, clean and comfy but the cleaness at morning buffet area is not ok. I do not understand why staff can overlook spilled water or dropped food. This area is supposed to be clean, isnt it? It has been like that everyday I had stayed.

Nice beach, beach bars close. The town is close but with taxy.

The room should be renovated, which is quite old and shabby. Stinky drains everywhere.

Quiet location ... very run down in places ...reasonable drinks and food ....pool was nice but sharp edges to tiles in some areas ...

Beach was very nice, although if you stay at the nicest part everyone wants to use your part of the beach.

Hard to move away from the property

Location was great. The rooms are lovely and big.

The bed could be slightly softer. The hotel didn’t offer trips nor transfers to other islands.

Amazing location on lonely beach.My room was quite newly renovated with large terrace.Staff were nice. Room was clean. If you wish to stay on lonely beach (the beach end, you'll likely still take a taxi to the party end of lonely beach) then this is your hotel. Don't stay here for luxury, Stay for the location and you'll be happy.!

The resort is run down from the outside, but it's not too bad. There is a lamp suspended at head height from the ceiling as a bed side light. I hit my head on it every time I moved past it.Bed was hard and creaky when moving.Too few plug sockets and placed in poor location.

Only the location was good.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this hotel, which was nothing short of disappointing. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Here's why:Overpriced and Underwhelming for that I got: I stayed in the Standard room, and I didn't expect any kind of luxury, but the condition of the room and building was just bad. Just some examples of the condition (you can check my pictures):- Dirty aircon- terrible smell from under the house (smelled like trash and a sewer)- tiles of floor in the room are broken- wardrobe broken- fridge is rusty- cracks in the floor next to windows- exposed electrical wire everywhere- broken towel holder in the bathroom (and no other holder to dry your clothes, swimsuits, etc. I mean, this hotel is at the beach, people need to dry their clothes somewhere)- chairs on the balcony, very old and uncomfortable- trash (!) and left-over material from construction or renovation (door frames, wood, window frames and windwos glasses) everywhere around the buildingAlso, the entrance and the windows of the bathroom faced to the street (the building is very close to the street). Therefore, you can always hear traffic noises.At one night we had no water. We couldn't shower.They offered me to refund the following nights or to stay in another room. Although the other room was a better category, the condition was just bad as mine room (need a lot of renovation, too).

Perfect location if one wants a quiet beach and also good in house restaurant and bar. A very nice place
