    Pros +

    • Close to Kaibea Hut's kayak rental to go visit the islands off coast
    • comfortable bed rooms get cleaned daily if you’d like beautiful greenery feels secluded even though it’s off the main road
    • The location is perfect! Close to everything (beach, restaurants, shops). I didn’t rent a scooter but I still felt like I could get around very easily from here. The bed was nice & comfortable and there was a fridge always stocked with cold water. I also liked that the bungalows were tucked behind the main road so it was very quiet and the garden was well maintained!

    Cons -

    • Not enough privacy on the balcony
    • thin walls bathroom was just ok sometimes bugsloud at night from some bars
    • The woman at the front desk wasn’t very friendly or helpful. I asked her for food recommendations and if she could help call me a taxi and she said she didn’t have any and to just flag one down. When I arrived she just gave me a key and pointed at my room. The rooms are a bit outdated and small. The first day my toilet didn’t work and they had to send someone to fix it. The bathroom had a weird smell and a window that couldn’t be covered, so people from above could look directly in. Every time you shower the bathroom floor would flood and it was always wet. The air conditioner wasn’t very powerful and the room was very hot. The power is only on when your key is in the room so it also takes a long time to cool down. It wasn’t a horrible stay by any means, but there is some room for improvement!

Clean perfect little bungalow set back off the street in it’s own little jungle garden, the elephants ? and coffee house is right next door, easy walking distance to beach and shops

Great place with a very good location, close to the beach and bars. I really enjoyed the area and had a good rest when I went back to my room.

The wifi was very slow and sometimes I lose the signal, but that is the only thing I can complain.

    5AllanPosted on: 4-1-2025

The cleaning and support staff excellent, the receptionists were not rays of sunshine, when we complained about the smell of drugs being smoked on the premises, so we had to be in our room as the smell was so invasive, they did nothing, all they had to do was put a sign up,this is the only one we have had a problem with. This is the second time at this hotel our room was not what we booked, somebody changed it not us.First time we stayed it was excellent, this time poor.

Helpful staff. Good location. Clean room. We rented a bike from them to explore the island. Super close to 7/11 and many restaurants. Short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Great place!! Very good location, 4 min walk to the beach.Lot of shops and restaurants just 1 min walkAmazing stuff! The rooms are very clean, and in good condition. And they have in the front really good massage.Overall excellent experience Definitely come again.

    Was perfect for us

I took a bungalow with ventilator because it's way in the back and more quiet. But in the winter it's cool at night and you don't even need a ventilator then. Rent a kayak at Kae Bai Hut, it's very friendly and good material. From there you can easily visit the 6 islands and Lazy Beach if weather conditions are ok. Especially Ko Yuak is fantastic for snorkeling even if it has a white sand beach.

The receptionists could have been a bit more friendly and helpful. Almost all places I stay I have good experiences with that. Here they were a bit dour faced. I don't know why.Anyway, it's not such a big deal either.

The bungalow where we stayed on the hill were a perfect distance from the noise of the Main Street and right beside the elephants very surreal , it was comfortable and peaceful with a beautiful garden to wake up to each morning

There was nothing I did not like

    10GiuliaPosted on: 1-14-2025

I had a fan bungalow at the back, it was quiet and surrounded by beautoful plants.

    8AlicePosted on: 1-12-2025

Staff were really friendly. Free filtered water. Room spotless. Great value for money.

Shower didn't drain too well and air con set to v cold or off. Fine because it was very affordable.

Great location, nice green surroundings, good quality cottages, pretty soundproof

No breakfast available but lots of options around. Also the room felt a bit old / stuffy. Nothing major though. Especially for the price!

    8KayleighPosted on: 1-1-2025

Very close to the beach, good room for the price. Nice porch area to sit and relax on in the day and evening. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy to access with small stairs and ramps. Fresh towels and water when needed.

The window to the bathroom allowed for others above to see in. Every morning the sprinkler would shoot through the window into the bathroom. Very small room if you have lots of luggage can be difficult to get around. No kettle in the room but there is one in reception.

Location was amazing - right off the main road, but super quiet. 2 minute walk to beach! Super simple and basic - amazing value. We stayed 10 blissful nights. Other people there stay a month at a time and return regularly. Cleaned daily - super friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to return.

Bathroom ceiling was not great - not sure if it was moldy or just water damage.

    9NicolinaPosted on: 12-17-2024

Beautiful well kept gardens. Good location, short walk to the beach. Nice sitting area at reception with free tea and coffee. Bottle of water and loo roll outside your room every day. Will make up your room if you ask.

For us everything was great, we had a bungalow with a fan which suited us. It was quite warm but if you don’t like it warm maybe get a room with AC. Mosquito screens would have been good so you could sleep with the windows open.

    7AidenPosted on: 11-30-2024

Great location for the beach. Helpful Ken made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. He organised bikes for us, sorted a knife for us to peel fruit and sorted tickets to get picked up and taken to Koh Mak. Good signal for online work in reception. 7/11 store very close.

We had a fan room which was very hot and impossible to sleep in. They gave us an extra fan but it didn’t help. Hotter inside the room than outside. We also had an animal in our roof scratching away all night keeping us awake.

The elephant camp is a couple of doors away, you can see them from your balcony and hear them in the morning

Garden resorts (Hotel next door) that we had to flee to loosing a lot of money :)

We had to leave after the first sleepless night because:- Bugs on bed- Bugs on floor- Bugs on wall and roof- Spider on Bed- Spider on window- we had bites on our legs after- lizards on the walls- MOLD- Floor sticky- bed wet, sticky- nonhelpful staff- non english speaking staff (hard to understand)- too quiet speaking staff (hard to understand even worse)*I hope we dont bring BEDBUGS with us home because of this horrible experienceWe got offered an upgraded room and we declined because:- Bugs&Ants in the entire Bungalow- Bugs&Ants in the bathroom- Mold or dust on pillow that was ON THE BED- sticky floorWe contacted the „Paradise" Bungalows twice first on email second on this app. Waited for a few days, no response. Lost so much money. What happened? We couldnt sleep in our room at all, i wanted to give it a chance but i just couldnt ( reasons listed above ) In the morning we went to the reception and asked for a refund. We didnt have hope for the upgrade, turned out the hopelessness was valid. He showed us the room, we looked into it and i was shook, first thing i saw was mold or whatever that was on the pillow that was laying on the bed. Disgusting. Then i went to the bathroom and i was perplexed, many many ants on the floor and even on walls. We didnt want to face the other surprises and declined the offer. That man was not helpful spoke quietly like grandmas are sleeping right next to him. Spoke english like he just learned it. When we asked for someone to contact ( because of refund ) he gave us a card with the facebook of the hotel?? And the number that he doesnt know what its for. For the same money you can afford better
