106 very steep steps to my room and 106back up to restaurant..212 very very STEEP STEPS EVERYTIME YOU LEAVE THE ROOM ..FRESH FRUIT FALLING ON STEPS..MAKE IT VERY SLIPPY..NO HAND RAILS

The staff were perfect, views were fantastic and it was away from the hustle of a resort town. The free room upgrade on arrival was a bonus....but there's a caveat to that little 'bonus'.

No tv service at all and no real efforts going into rectification... I believe the (non-refundable) price paid would require all advertised facilities be delivered and working. The original room booking was for a deluxe villa - As stated in the 'pros' section above, we were upgraded to a prime villa on arrival. The deluxe villas are a sad state of affairs. Pay ahead on booking websites and your options are limited if you decide that you aren't getting what you paid for. I will consider this next time I look at booking.com

You can tell they truly care about ensuring your stay is pleasant. The food is a real highlight, with the chef preparing meals that are simple yet full of flavor.If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay on Koh Chang, this is definitely worth considering. We would be happy to return.

What didn’t we like? That we had to leave.Honestly, everything was perfect. The only downside was that, after such a great time, we had to head home. It felt like we had just started to fully enjoy everything, and then it was already time to go. We would have loved to stay longer and hope to return soon.

The location and view are just simply amazing. Can't get better than this but it's a bit tucked away so you will need transport. Their staff was so friendly and helpful, I would like to thank everyone at the Bhuvarin resort for all your help! Overall an amazing hotel!

There was a sewage smell coming out of the toilet but regardless,I would book with them again and would recommend to the next person for sure!

If you’re looking for peace & quiet with exceptional views, The Bhuvarin is definitely the place for you on Koh Chang. I would recommended paying the little extra for a prime villa as the view from the room is worth every penny. Very friendly staff but also extremely helpful.Tip : It’s worth renting a scooter directly from reception as they will assist you with renting one upon your arrival !

The view from the location is pretty good

When we fiest entered our room the bathroom wasn’t cleaned after the previous guest left. Thereby were our supposed to be white bed linnen yellowish. Our room was invested with antsWe had a room at the oceanside. The room has a full window wall with sliding doors to a balcony. Right in front of our balcony was a cctv camera installed staring straight into our room. Bye bye privacy. Super invasive to know someone at any time could have a look at what youre doing inside the room. Breakfast is not good. Prefab tasteless pancakes and frying an egg is out of the cooks skillset. Diner wasn’t good either. Overall not worth the money. There is for sure better options out there. Dont waste money here.

The hotel is well designed, offers great breakfast and very friendly staff. It is a bit off the grid which we loved but you should definitely be up for renting a scooter or use the shuttle service provided by the hotel

The view is amazing and worth it for a night ! The team is really sweet and ready to help.

The pool is almost a public place, people from out of the hotel come and go… There's a sewage smell in the rooms, even after the cleaning team has come to put products in our room several times. And of course it attracts lots of insects after some days :/

Location - the location is lovely but if you sent to visit the rest of Bang Bao the in-house transport is limited. Not starting until 11 is too late & final pick up at 5 is too early.Recommend hiring a scooter.

Beautiful view and very nice staff. The breakfast and Area around the pool, restaurant and reception is really nice.

All rooms below Prime Villa is overprized and can not be recommended. We we’re in a Deluxe Thai Villa and there is nothing deluxe over it. It’s fine if the price was matched but it is really overpriced unfortunatly.

The property has an older building and some new rooms and a new reception/restaurant/ pool area. The new parts are nicely designed and are comfy. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We received a free transfer on our check out. The view is very nice and the vibe is relaxed and quiet, as you’re far away from other properties, towns and restaurants.

The common areas of the older buildings could use some refurbishing, there were even some dangerous areas with steps falling apart and steel supports of platforms completely rusted and eaten away. Beware of the monkeys, don’t leave any food and beverage items outside, as they will come in the morning to steal it and make a mess. They are aggressive too, so don’t get too close.

The view from the resort (and pool) on the bay and the pier is stunning. As is the room. The pool and restaurant area are beautiful too and the staff is extremely nice and helpfull.

Nothing really, but maybe some more sun beds would be nice. For breakfast you have 4 choices of which the healthy one comes with 4 pancakes and hardly any yoghurt, room for improvement. Good to know is that the location is a bit more remote than other hotels.

Very nice resort with good food and very helpful staff, we really enjoyed our stay

Only negative was that the resort is far away from everything, but they had free taxi transfer to close by beaches and the pier

You do really need transport for this hotels location. If you are a sun worshipper, then maybe this hotel isn't for you, as it is mostly shaded around the pool area, all day.No sunsets views.Monkeys can be an issue..don't leave anything on your deck.Just a few little maintenance jobs to fix noisy toilet and broken pathways in some areas of hotel to Deluxe Thai villas..but overall an OK stay.

If you enjoy privacy and want a peaceful retreat, this is the perfect place for you. Due to the steep and narrow paths on the island, combined with the resort being at the end of the island, getting there can take some time. However, the location and atmosphere of the accommodation, along with the pool and restaurant of the resort, will not disappoint you.The staff is polite and friendly. Breakfast is available in sets, and the food is delicious. There are kayaks available for free; you can paddle across to the other side, which is the Bang Bao pier (there is a 7-11 store there).

The room is quite old and has a musty smell; the pillow has mold on it. There are no shops or restaurants nearby within walking distance. There are quite a few monkeys. The accommodation is not suitable for disabled people or the elderly because the paths are quite steep.

Room was decent, and staff seemed very nice, although you’re pretty far away from the busier area with shops, restaurants and bars. Pool is great with fantastic view, and cool to see the monkeys outside our room in the mornings.

Very frustrating end to our stay though upon checking out. As it turns out the staff didn’t document any of my cash payments throughout our stay. My partner and I are absolutely positive that I had paid from our table after every meal, but all they showed me was their CCTV footage of the bar, where of course no transaction had taken place, so I was sort of forced to pay.Lost £30 out of it, so not the end of the world, otherwise I would’ve given this place 3 stars.

Amazing views, location and a good breakfast!

Beautiful view and surroundings.

No hotel for the elderly or people with impaired balance or fitness. Many stairs and levels to pass. Long way to other restaurants, is very secluded, own car or motorbike is highly recommended.
