Mam Kai Bae Beach Resort

After coming back to Koh Chang for the fourth time and staying at quite a few hotels and resorts, my partner and I have both decided Mam Kaibae has the most comfortable beds BY FAR! Lovely, spacious room! I loved how big the bathroom was. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Had a private sun chair area on the beach, and a perfect little café. Breakfast was not huge but had everything I needed. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. 100% would recommend. :)

We love the location of this hotel. Just in front ot the beach. We love the infinity pool, although too much chlorine. This hotel is right on the beach and it is 10 minutes walking distance to the village with those amazing restaurants and markets. Location was perfect

Breakfast is quite below average, staff members were very kind but they barely speak any english. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable Overall we enjoyed our state and I will recommend this hotel, Great value .

We absolutely loved our stay at MAM Kaibae Hotel - a true beachfront paradise. The location is unbeatable: the hotel sits right on Kai Bae Beach, with its own little private stretch of sand just steps from your room. You really are meters from the water, making it perfect for sunrise walks and stunning sunsets.Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony, which made it a joy to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. Each day we were given fresh bottled water and tp, and the room was tidied regularly by friendly and thorough housekeeping staff. Breakfast was included every morning and was delicious, with plenty of choice.Other highlights were definitely the rooftop infinity pool, and the beach massage facilities were also fantastic, pure relaxation with the sound of the waves right in front of you!The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Excursions we booked were happy to pick us up directly from the hotel with no fuss at all. The town area is very convenient too, with lots of food options, scooter rentals and little shops within easy walking distance. It’s calm and relaxing, yet close to everything you need.

Beautiful pool with a great view. Excellent for sunset viewing and people/wave watching whether it’s sunny or not.

Most food options were a bit of a walk away

- On the 4th floor there’s an infinity pool that’s facing the sea with a beautiful view and sunset.- The room was basic and small but had a balcony with sea view as well. -The staff was nice and polite.

- The resort is located far from the main road with all the shops and restaurants, it’s around 15 minutes walk.

It’s ideally situated on the beach and just a short walk to restaurants, bars etc. I extended my stay there, real good. The rooms are standard basic sort of room, they are clean and tidy and well maintained. Breakfast standard fare and plenty of it. Would stay again without a doubt.

Great location. Nice pool. Rooms were spacious and had required amenities. Clean and comfy.Near bars, restaurants, 7-11. Near main road for transport but far enough away that couldn't hear any traffic.Beautiful beach right there.

Nothing.Only things, if you really want them, no laundry or hotel bar and reception closes at 7pm but as near the town its only a 5-10min walk to 24hr 7-11 and 24hr laundry 2 minutes past the 7-11.

The hotel was in a lovely location, right next to a sandy beach with shallow water. A nice large room with a comfortable bed, good wifi and air con. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

No food at the hotel after breakfast and a fair walk to any other restaurants. The breakfast was OK but geared towards asians with few offering for westerners. There was however a small cafe open during the day for snacks and drinks. The shower was feeble and often not hot. A little expensive for the facilities.

This was a very comfortable stay located directly on the beach with a balcony that has beautiful views of the beach and mountains ..

I loved the location. This was one of the few places along the beach that had sun beds out front. It was nice to get a massage right outside the front door as well. The view from the pool was amazing. They had a delicious breakfast selection and the staff was more than accommodating.

The location was great as it was right on the beach, and only a short walk to a main street with bars/restaurants/shops. The pool was brilliant and perfect for sunset. The breakfast was great and just what we needed after backpacking SE Asia. There was a water refill station as well. The room was big with a balcony and the bathroom was great as well.

The bed was very soft but not the end of the world.

We have stayed several times at this hotel and we are very satisfied. Fantastic location just by the beach with a very nice pool area.

It’s like a mini resort with a strip of sand and a couple of beach chairs. Good area with many restaurants near-by but the hotel itself is really quiet.

The room smelled a bit damp in the beginning but with a bit of airing it went away. No hair dryer

500 Baht deposit not mentioned before. Once breakfast was no coffee and no cups although it was 9:30.You can hear the door opener and cleaning staff in the morning. You need ear plugs

Great location right on a lovely beach. Good value for money. Lovely view from our balcony of the sunsets. Sunbeds on the beach and a great rooftop pool.
