Food was bad staff are dumb

The location and the beach. The pools were nice, and the workers very friendly. The hotel area is quiet and beautiful. The breakfast area is nice and beautiful. We loved sitting there.

We had the family bungalow with sea view and it wasn’t a good idea to choose it: the beds are awful, we couldn’t sleep at night. The mattress above was like a stone, and downstairs terrible spring mattress. All night was noise of the gecko in the rooftop, and the shower and toilet is stinky, and without ventilation. The hotel in general is beautiful. But just the new rooms. The old bungalows are uncomfortable.

The location, seafront bungalows just amazing. Brilliant for kids. Safe beach. Walkable to town via the beach only at night. Read the iamkohchang website for more info. This resort is very popular with Thai families and is dog friendly. We loved our stay.

The breakfast was nice but they could easily improve for western guests with good bean coffee, fresh pancakes and bacon. The pool needs new mats on the beds and it would be great if you could eat near the pool.The seafront bungalows have a very rickety stairs with no railing to the upper level. Great fun for kids but very easy to fall through.

Bungalow was a fairly far walk, but not an issue

The best beach on Koh Chang, personally. We have been three times at that hotel. 30 minutes walking by beach and you find infrastructure: restaurants, shops, massage.

The hotel needs renovation. Unfortunately, it is not the same one, what we had visited 2 and 6 years ago.

Resort had a lot of options for room types, very modern and nice. Big size. Gorgeous landscaping with lush jungle hillside rooms. Easy parking. Good price. Kayaks for rent.

There were a lot of little things that, when added up, meant we wouldn't stay there again. The shower struggled with hot water, the door wouldn't close without being locked, the AC remote didn't work, the maids came knocking at 9 am, there were no hand towels to dry your face or hands and they are not provided, the breakfast was meh and for some reason they had a young child cooking eggs every morning. There werent enough pool loungers at either pool and the cushions were rotten and mouldy.Beach not the best for swimming. Loads of rocks. Restaurant food had no veggie options whatsoever. Drinks were pricey and staff were not helpful. I know it's low season but you still need to make sure your guests are happy. A lot of us ended up visiting the beach club next door every day because the beach, food and service were so much better. We had a running joke about it.

Bed bugs

Very helpful, cheery staff, fantastic location in bungalow 5 metres from the beach. The room had an enormous bed, bedside light and table, large smart tv with Netflix and stable wifi. The bathroom was large with a rain shower and separate toilet.Breakfast was very good, restaurant food and room service was good and affordable.Ample car parking.

The road down to the resort is a little precarious but I suppose that's part of the charm.

Second time here, loving it a lot. The view is amazing, private beach, super comfortable rooms, nice staff... a hidden gem.

Breakfast could be improved, and AC is a bit oldish.

Poor food in the restaurant, breakfast only passable. rooms not cleaned properly, just bedding changed, cups not cleaned, tea coffee not replaced, bathroom not cleaned for the 4 days I was there.

The location, amazing views of sea, islands and mountains.

Not being able to leave the air conditioning on to keep the room cool. It was incredibly hot after being out for the day and took a long time to cool down.

Great location on the bay, the rooms were amazing, 2 pools, the food was very good, we were lucky enough to see the fire show on Saturday night by the pool, incredible

Cushions on pool lounges need replacing, very hot in the sun and filled with water

Perfect private beach, beautiful pool, so peaceful, staff is super nice food is great.**for peaceful and private location, you need to expect to be more isolated and, therefore, need a car/scutter to go around..

Nothing. A chair in the room by the table would be nice

The private beach was clean and the view was amazing. Through the hotel, we also managed to join a snorkelling tour and it was great.

Perfect location.We had the sea side bungalow, a couple with 3 kids. We paid extra which was worth it.Beds are hard but like futon mattress. We liked it.Hot water in the shower but not much water pressure.No closet but we managed 6 nights.Nice minibar.Great pool & beach. We took a kayak to ko man nai - was awesome! Worth the money.Breakfast was ok. A bit boring after 3 nights, but the restaurant was pretty good, great prices.Authentic Thai hotel, monkeys, birds, crabs, abit bugs.Parking is near the room.Best price for a private snorkeling tour to Ko wai, Ko khum, Ko laoya. Took us right from the beach. No need to drive all the way to the pier. Was really good price.I recommend this place.

Snorkelling was fully booked both days we were here but we made up for it with kayaking

Didn’t like the fact that dogs and cats were allowed in breakfast area and in some cases dogs ONLY the TABLE being hand fed by owner guests
