Koh Chang Paradise Resort & Spa

Very clean. Right on beach. Good pool. Very convenient to places to eat, have a beer, 7-11, etc. Wonderful breakfast with everything imaginable. Lots of families. There were a lot of Russian, as apparently this hotel/resort is included in many tour packages from Russia.

We were in a unit in the C block. These rooms are less expensive than rooms in the B block, or A block, which has a sea view. The C block units are removed from the beach, and get some traffic noise.

Exceptional resort, nice bungalows, great pool and a small but nice kids area, our kids really enjoyed it. The resort also has a fire show each night.

Don’t book it for the slides, they are not in good condition, especially the kids slides from the ship are constructed wrongly, they are attached to the boat at a too step angle.

Quiet! Peaceful and exceptionally beautiful location with white sand beach and fantastic atmosphere.

This was exactly what we were looking for, a beautiful resort with every amenity. I loved it.

The location! 3 minutes from the best beach out of all other resorts we stayed at in this trip. But it’s own personal beach was not good at all. Only resort with a water park which was the reason we came.

Kids playroom needs some fix up and cleanup, resort rules have to become more complacent for the guests and o ensure they have the best time; they were very stiff about- not taking a cup of coffee from the morning bufet into your room and other things like that.

The new rooms, great bed!! Beautyfull garden, one of the best breakfasts ever, slides for the kids.

The pool was out of order but they make a great new one. You can use the pool on the other side of the Road.

Great beautiful location on beach. We had a one of the new beach cabinns - very nice and modern. Great slides in the pool on the other side of the street. The kids loved that.

The main pool by the beach and the area around it was closed for construction and nobody told us in advance. Breakfast was average.

Beach and beachfront location are excellent. Ample free parking if you arrive in a rental car as we did, with good proximity to the most important sites on Koh Chang, including the very refreshing nearby waterfall, and related nature park, the more southerly scenic overlooks and beaches, and the more northerly ferry terminal site on the island. We had to leave in the very early morning, before breakfast was served, to get back to Bangkok in time for our flight home, and the hotel was kind enough to prep bagged lunch-breakfasts for us which we then ate on the ferry ride back to the mainland. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Nothing to dislike, really! The one suggestion I'd have to the hotel is to have a more extended "happy hour" during the day. As a tip to other, future stayers in relation to that, the notably less crowded (nearly "deserted" during our stay), one-less-star beachfront resort that lies just to the south about 100-200 M (Koh Chang Resort, "two resorts" to the south) has an extended happy hour from 1-4 pm daily, and with an excellent bartender who served very generous-sized and tasty drinks. (Would especially recommend their Pina Coladas and Lichy gin sours). Thus we ourselves just walked down the beach to that other resort for our less expensive (happy hour-priced), and more generous daily afternoon drinks in a less crowded environment.

We booked a deluxe villa on the seafront, which we managed to get in the new part (A11) of the house. Huge room with a central bed, large wardrobe, safe, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and a wonderful bathroom, with the sea about 10 steps from the room door. After check-in, a small hotel car picked us up and dropped us off at the check-out between our room and the reception. I think this is the Resort where every little detail is taken care of. Pool bar with fine drinks, huge choice at breakfast buffet, travel desk on site. Thank you very much it was a really super holiday

This is probably only in our room (A11) because in consultation with the rest of the family no one experienced a similar inconvenience, but when we showered the water under the glass flowed into the toilet and the whole bathroom was swimming. The maids responded very sweetly and quickly , they put 1-1 towels there , it was a temporary solution but we just need a long term solution.

Hotel and grounds were amazing. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. Travelled with my 1 year old son and everyone and I mean everyone from bar staff to security looked after him and took the time to say hello. We only wished we could stay longer. There is a lovely restaurant on the beach at the hotel and fire show is great. Also enough around the hotel to keep you entertained with 7 eleven down the road.We stayed in the C rooms but if you have the money then make sure you book the A rooms close to the beach!

Beachfront pool could have been bigger

The location of the resort in right on the beach. We had for 2 nights the bungalow right on the beach and it was beautiful (we changed after for a bungalow not right on the beach and they feel even more quiet too). Nice touch is they lended us a wheelchair for my mother who has mobility issues. And they also gave us a room for her right by the pool and the beach , which was very convenient for her.

- The restaurant wasn't great, so we only had one meal there. For the rest, we opted to eat in town, which was convenient since it’s just a 10-minute walk to a few nice restaurants.- At check-out, they charged us 300 baht for a fabric water bottle cover, insisting that we took it and were responsible for it. They wouldn't let us leave without opening our suitcases for us to do a check, but we didn’t have time and ended up paying. Since we were a group of six, it’s possible someone packed it by mistake, but it turns out none of us had it. After five days at the resort, this left a sour note to end the stay, especially for something that was really NOT useful at all and probably an employee's mistake.

Lovely resort with individual bungalow rooms. Well kept, great staff, a fun water park and right on a beautiful white sand beach front. Staff have been great and the food etc was excellent and reasonably priced! Will be back

Stayed 1 week in pool villa & it was ok but for the money it fell short in my opinion. Better values out there, staff out in restaurant on beach were little rude so we never ate meals at hotel. All meals were outside the resort!!

The employees just didn’t give us a warm feeling ( hard to explain but we will be back but won’t be staying here ).
